Charming Suite with great views!
Stayed here for 3 nights end of November and really enjoyed the upper suite which has character and charm. We were met by Concha who gave us a quick orientation and helped us get settled. The suite is perfect for a couple and has plenty of patio space and seating including a rooftop palapa terrace with comfortable furniture, for the exclusive use of guests of the upper suite. Views are of the townsite below and out to the ocean. The suite is basically a studio with a complete kitchen (including microwave) with enough plates, glasses, pots, pans etc to prepare small meals, although you may need to supply your own coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc. The kitchen has beautiful iron windows which open right up so you can chat to individuals outside and enjoy the view while you prepare food or drinks. The small plunge pool is below on the main level and good for a quick dip to cool off. The bed was comfortable and the room has ceiling fans and screened in windows to keep the air moving. The neighbourhood is directly uphill from the townsite and a steep 7 minute walk up including a number of stairs. There is one parking space inside the property gates but plenty of on street parking as well. While the neighbourhood is quiet, there is occasional noise from the townsite including music from the bars below. But that is probably true of anywhere in Sayulita these days. Overall, the suite is good value and the owner(s) were responsive and easy to deal with.

Nice, secluded spot with great views!
Love the separation from the busy main streets and having pool access. House is very clean, has plenty of kitchen tools for cooking at home, and a variety of spaces for taking in the views and relaxing in sun or shade.

We are friends of the owners and this is the second time we’ve stayed here for a week. We love the place and so did the couple we brought with us. We plan on coming back again next year.
Good birdwatching here. Love the new furniture on the upper terrace. Hilltop views, interesting architecture. Felt safe. Good value. Be prepared to climb many steps coming back from downtown.

Beautiful, comfortable space, awesome location, fantastic property owners/managers!
We didn't want to leave Casa Sandia, I highly recommend it! The location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk down the hill to the centro. We stayed in the upper unit and LOVED it, especially the top-most terrace space.

Also, the managers were extremely kind and fair to us in handling some reservation/travel challenges. I would definitely stay here again!

THANK YOU Casa Sandia!

Loved It!
Well, what can I say ‘Casa Sandia’ was wonderful. We rented the whole house left on Feb 21/17 , a couple upstairs, and 2 of us in the lower unit. The kitchens had everything you needed, micro, blender, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker. Pool is small, a little chilly, but you sure needed it due to the hot weather. A beautiful view from the Casa on all three floors. We loved hearing the Rooster’s serenading the village around us(lots of them), plus the odd ‘Gobble, Gobble’ from the turkey and the ‘Hee Haw’ from the grey donkey next door. Oh yes, we had a visit from a local cat, not sure if she understood English but she sure knew where the refrigerator was, I think she had been there before. LOL A walk to the town of Sayulita was a hike down and back up by the pathway close by or you could walk the road which was longer, but you can chat with the locals or other ‘Gringo’s) there are Casa’s everywhere, and maybe a kind person would offer you a ride on a 4 wheeler or golf cart. Sayulita is bustling with surfers, hippies, yuppies, seniors and locals, lots of great restaurants and shops and the beer is cheap so you can sit and watch the surfers or paddle boarders ride the waves all day. We will be back……… thank you for a great vacation.

Really Magical Place
My husband and I spent a week here. We had the entire place to ourselves and although we didn't live in the bottom casita, it was handy to have the access to the lower bathroom, while using the really sweet swimming pool. Everything about Casa Sandia was on the plus side. The upper casita feels like a honeymoon get away with a truly romantic tropical aura. Sitting outside in the morning eye level with the palm trees was perfect for bird watching and the public stairway just across the street was a super plus as it was a quick walk to town for dinner, music and shopping. The house is located up on the hill behind town so although it is a quick walk to town, you are far enough away to not here any of the noises of town. That was a HUGE plus! We really felt at home here; the house, the pool and the perfectly groomed gardens. We are looking forward to our next trip. There is so much to do in Sayulita and the near by little villages. I want to go back and stay for a month!

AMAZING Property!
My wife and I and our college daughter and friend just returned from 4 days at Casa Sandia and we are already looking at our calendars to see when we can go back. We arrived December 30th and stayed through New Years. The property manager, Concha, was gracious and attentive to our needs. The house itself was perfect. We rented both floors. My wife and I took the downstairs with the larger master bedroom and the girls took the second floor. Perfect way to have privacy, but still stay together as a family. We swam in the pool in the backyard and enjoyed sunrise and sunsets from the spacious 3rd floor porch.

The walk is a steep one back and forth, but if you are reasonably fit, it is very manageable. Besides...how often would you trek back and forth from the amazing little town?? We hired Jose Ramos for ground transportation from the airport to Sayulita and then to the resort where we spent the balance of our time. Very clean, nice service with a stop at the Mega. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone interested. The owners are prompt in replying and very attentive as well. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful home up on the hill!
We were a group of 7 gals (friends and family) who escaped to Sayulita for 5 short days. We rented the entire Casa Sandia and it was wonderful. It was just above the Plaza... enough to be clear of the party noise, but still a close walk to town. The steep walk is not a big deal, and made easier with a set of stairs near the house that goes down to the plaza. The view from house is gorgeous - a backside view of Sayulita that is luscious in greenery with a peep of the ocean beyond. The owner James and the local staff were very accommodating and easy to work with. I will definitely visit again!

Lovely Casa, great location, Super owners, very relaxing, we will return!
The owners made it so easy to rent and find the Casa, and once we got there it is even nicer than the photos and description! The pool is hard to stay away from. Very short walk to town and beaches. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We are planning our return. Check it out!!!!
