Beautiful spot!
My husband and I rented the upper floor for 5 nights. We loved spending time on the rooftop enjoying the beautiful view, as well as down in the shared pool. The house is very close to the center of Sayulita, but felt private and tucked away at the same time. We loved our stay here!

Away from the downtown din/noise hilltop dream
The owners have put a lot of consideration into comforts function and aesthetics at Casa Sandia. We have been here before and updates have occurred to make it more complete than previous visit. The separation between the two floors allows traveling with friends but retaining privacy a perfect situation for us with buds. I can imagine renting just one floor and the other floor occupied by strangers without any required interaction as the separation is done right. Shared pool but a very private setting. The town is a multi stepped walk up and down but totally doable we are in our 70s. Walk that wonderful meal off or with rented car there is a secure gated parking spot but just one, though parking at high season can be a challenge. You won’t have made a mistake to rent this special place.

A special house in a special town! With so many different spaces, Casa Sandia provided the flexibility to be quiet and secluded or to have time together as a group. The pool is just the right size for a hangout and the palapa on the top floor gives the most amazing sunset views. Linens are nice, everything works, house and grounds are tidy, and the neighborhood feels safe. Beautiful garden and beautiful views!

Exceptional home in Sayulita
It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend Casa Sandia. It is an outstanding home, and very spacious with a top and bottom level. It even has a third level with plenty of room to relax and look out at the magnificent view. Everything about this beautiful property is superb.
My husband and I stayed on the bottom level as our friend stayed above, and it was more than comfortable. Two bedrooms with a lovely kitchen and bath.
The location is phenomenal, as it is in walking distance to the beautiful beach and colorful town. So you can walk up and down the hill anytime. It is a wonderful contrast to the excitement of Sayulita town. When you arrive home it is peaceful and tranquil. An absolute exceptional experience.

Third time staying here for 10 days
Hilltop rooftop views with great sunsets, ocean in the distance, good birdwatching and night bird listening (owls) after dark. I feel like lord of my domain up here, looking down on the lights across the way. Good hot shower after a day at the beach, restful nights sleep, several really good restaurants in town, and it’s close to another great beach in San Pancho. Lively action in town with a mix of old and young and Mexican families, and good people watching on the beach. Clean and comfortable with kitchen facilities and a pool. We love it here.

The perfect spot!
We just came to Sayulita for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the mountain and ocean views. The house more than accommodated 4 adults. 4 stories of beautiful views. Would highly recommend this amazing place.

We are friends of the owners and this is the second time we’ve stayed here for a week. We love the place and so did the couple we brought with us. We plan on coming back again next year.
Good birdwatching here. Love the new furniture on the upper terrace. Hilltop views, interesting architecture. Felt safe. Good value. Be prepared to climb many steps coming back from downtown.

A piece of heaven
Casa Sandia has everything you need in a rental home. All amenities in the kitchen, bath and pool area; cozy decor. There are two rental units (upper and lower) and we rented both as we were a party of 5. So glad we did not have to share with other people as ALL of the outdoor living space is fun at different times of the day and the pool area is small yet big enough for a family.

Very easy walk to town and beach. Definitely take a flashlight for walk home and take the short cut down the stairs per the owners walking directions. We felt very safe at the house and in town. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is due to the wonderful location in the jungle.. which brings with it the sounds of the jungle. Birds, turkeys, roosters, etc are very vibrant.

Beautiful week in paradise!
We are just finishing our week in Sayulita. We stayed at Casa Sandia on Gringo Hill with our family of five. Our daughter and her boyfriend, our grown up son and my husband and I all loved Casa Sandia! We grilled our freshly-caught dorado on the charcoal grill by the pool one night, cooked in either of the kitchens, made margaritas and enjoyed all the little outside patios and areas.

The house has plenty of beds and the kitchens have pans and coffee makers and everything you need. We liked our little walks up and down the hill; we found some shortcuts. We enjoyed eating out, playing and reading on the beaches, hiking through the jungle to San Pancho and seeing wonderful birds and animals on our fishing trip. Concha took care of any problems we had (we thought we lost our keys one night) quickly and kindly! What a great place. We will miss it when we go back to our snowy home...

Amazing views, absolute paradise
We stayed for 10 wonderful days at Casa Sandia which was so awesome. We were a family of 4, us plus our teenagers who stayed downstairs and we were upstairs. This was our best vacation ever! Beautiful views, beautiful artwork, beautiful Mexican architecture, beautiful gardens and excellent service from Concha, the property manager, Maria the house cleaner and Miguel who took care of the pool and the gardens. We will be back for sure at this awesome property and we fell in love with this absolutely wonderful little town.
