New playground and park for Sayulita children.

 

       

New playground in Sayulita Mexico

Jensen & Cheri & Patrick Hasburgh have donated a brand new state of the art playground & swingset & slide combination for the children of Sayulita. The "jeugo" was installed at the baseball field; Grand Opening was the night of June 27th and at least 100 local children enjoyed free hot dogs, cheeseburgers, chips, sodas, swings and slides and jungle gyms.

The Hasburghs have also funded the restoration of the park's banos and the repair and rehab of some existing playground equipment.

The new playground equipment was purchased from PARC, SA CV of Guadalajara at a cost $10,000 USD (not including installation.)

The Hasburghs are asking that local residents and businesses participate in keeping our park clean and to let everyone know that our two women's softball teams De Nayaritas Y De Haibas have graciously agreed to supply the woman-power and the elbow-grease. Interested parties can "adopt the park" for 2000 pesos (approximately $190 USD) per month. This money will go the teams travel and tournament fund.

The Hasburghs are also hoping that at least twelve local businesses and/or residents will adopt the park for at least one month each. For further info contact Cheri here
