Canadian designed and managed and built by some of the best local artisans, no effort has been spared to ensure your enjoyment.

A private and secure compound featuring professionally designed gardens, soft colors, wonderful rock walls, tiled courtyards, and the splashing of the pool to soothe the senses will guarantee your stay here one you'll remember as long as it takes to come again.
Casita Amarilla is a magically perfect place for a couple, a small family, or even a larger party to comfortably enjoy the beautiful village of Sayulita Mexico. We can offer 3 air-conditioned, stand alone and self sufficient vacation get-aways, you may wish to book the entire compound to escape with a larger party! Please view our 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom main house within the same compound.

$150.00USD per night / $1050.00USD per week.
Casita Amarilla requests a 50% deposit paid at the time of the reservation with the balance paid upon arrival.
Low Season June 1-Oct. 31st $95.00USD per night
High Season Nov. 1-May 31st $150.00USD per night
Holiday Season – the weeks of Christmas and New Years $150.00USD per night

We will provide a full refund up to 30 days prior to your arrival date. After that date, we will hold your deposit for a future visit or if we can rent the unit, we will provide a full refund less a $100.00 service fee.

The room is beautiful and well stocked with everything you could think of.
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and the sheets were super high quality and felt like sleeping on a cloud.
The hosts Hilary and Peter were so amazing and gave us so many tips on where to go for dinners, walks and adventures. They also know Spanish so if you are having issues they can help you out :)
There is a lot of fabulous restaurants in close proximity as well as markets where you can get anything you need for your stay. It is also approximately 15 min walk to town and if you aren't a walker, you can rent golf cart to get you around.
There is a beautiful deck above where there is a bbq and the most comfortable patio furniture where we enjoyed many a night watching the sunsets and playing games. There are books and games available in the Casitas which is great!
There are so many fabulous restaurants and we never had a bad meal. The night performers are definitely something you need to check out as this little town has a lot to offer you.
This is a hidden gem and would highly recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing location and don't have anything negative to say.
I can't wait to book again it is on my top list of places to stay.

This was the first time for us vacationing in Sayulita. We found the location perfect, close to town by staying in a perfect paradise. This complex is so well cared for, with great staff that took care of all our needs. We were fortunate to be there for a few days with the fantastic new owners of Casa Amarilla Peter and Hilary. They made us feel so welcome and were so accommodating.
It had everything we needed, very clean with a very comfy bed :)
Can't say enough about the place....we can't wait to go back!

Peter and Hillary were exceptional hosts as were his staff!
The huge outdoor space upstairs was great for family dinners and watching the sunrise with our morning coffee.
The casita itself was large, spacious and clean.
The kitchen was fully equipped with all amenities.

We loved it♥️
It began with my son and his wife renting the largest unit. Next my daughter and myself checked in to a main floor suite and finally another daughter and son-in-law rented an upper unit. It was paradise!! No loud music (which we had put up with downtown), the most comfortable beds, a fully equiped kitchen, wonderfully helpful housekeeper and grounds keeper, a large, clean pool, an outdoor kitchen where we could have family dinners, and best of all------- a most accomodating host willing to try and make your stay as good as possible.
When another son-in-law arrived, I moved to the small unit that had been used by the host when he was there. There was a bedroom with bath and a spacious outdoor area with kitchen.
In effect, we stayed at every rental available at Peter and Hillary's. Before finding that, we stayed at hotels in the center of town for 2 1/2 weeks. Forget sleeping. They were very nice, clean and convenient but music went on until 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. We also stayed at a beautiful casita with not even a roll of paper towel or dish cloth in the kitchen and only a single pot to cook everything. Guests were not welcome.
We would have happily stayed at Casa Amarilla the entire time had we not had to move out when there were reservations booked. All of us would highly recommend this place.
