There is no refund if you cancel fewer than 14 days before your check-out. If your check-in day is less than 14 days from when you made your reservation, then 100% of your payment is non-refundable.
Our stay at Platanitos was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space is even more cozy and beautiful than the photos show, and it's spotlessly clean.
The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly, always willing to help with any questions or recommendations. They gave us excellent suggestions for exploring the area, which made our experience even more special.
The location is perfect; we were able to see some whales. There's also a turtle camp next door where you can have a wonderful time helping to release the turtles with your contributions. The beach is very private, quiet enough to enjoy a relaxing break. The house is well-equipped, and our stay was even more comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again on future visits.

At low tide, walk across the river and take the stairs furthest from the ocean to check out Platanitos. Had a great meal there at King Kong. Even though the trail is somewhat overgrown, El Cora waterfall is definitely worth the drive. We were the only ones there mid week.
