Our Go-To spot in Sayulita

Charlie and Mel are amazing people and the perfect hosts at this great restaurant. The food is delicious and so consistently prepared and presented. My favorite dish is the Tamarind Fish and my wife's is the Spicy Tuna Roll. I have tried other dishes and they were all great. The Avocado Tuna Ball... YUMMM, but we always seemed to find our way back to the favorites.

Oh! Those Shrimp Eggs Benedict!

For breakfast this place is the absolute best! We ate here several times while we visited Sayulita! The food was top shelf every time. We highly recommend the Shrimp Eggs Benedict! So good!

Outstanding food!

The best calamari I've ever had in my life, super-fresh and flavorful tortilla soup, coconut shrimp, and a bountiful spinach salad with bacon, dates, goat cheese, etc... We LOVED our meal!!

The food and service was exceptional!

I'm still dreaming of the stuffed avocado appetizer and my fresh-catch cilantro fish. Everything was exceptional and very well priced for the quality.

Tierra Viva took reservations for our large group and confirmed the day prior which I greatly appreciated. The rooftop location was perfect as we were able to still hear each other while being in the heart of town.

We just returned from our trip to Sayulita for my husband's birthday. We chose Tierra Viva for his birthday celebration for 14 people. From the moment I reached out to request the reservation to the last moment of the evening, Tierra Viva blew our expectations out of the water!! The rooftop setting was absolutely perfect for our group. Oh-not to mention the entrees, drinks and dessert were delicious. Many in our group returned throughout the week for breakfast and lunch and the experience did not disappoint!

Amazing Rooftop for Rehearsal Dinner

We were lucky enough to host our Rehearsal Dinner on the rooftop of Tierra Viva. Charlie- the owner- was nothing short of fantastic to work with. He made the planning process seamless and easy. The night of the dinner- the staff was responsive and friendly. The service was incredible. The food had rave reviews from our guests- and so did the margaritas! The rooftop is beautiful and overlooks downtown Sayulita and the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to dine with our friends and family!

They cooked our catch and it was fantastic!

Holy Moly! We loved this place so much we ate there twice! Our second visit we brought our own fish (Dorado) the guys in our group caught that day. They cooked it up 3 ways (Plus some sushi) and provided sides of rice and freshly steamed and buttered veggies. The fish was cooked to perfection and every little bit was eaten. Drinks were delicious. Honestly I got hammered and I cant really remember it all, but I know it was good and the atmosphere was great. Service was on top of providing us a stellar experience!

April 2011 we visited Sayulita for the 1st time, at the end of our 4 days we left Sayulita with the intent of moving here. In October the move to Sayulita was a reality. In 2014 our friend Daniel ask if we wanted to have a new adventure, the new adventure was Tierra Viva. We have no regrets about our new life in Sayulita.
