At Tierra Viva Event Catering in Sayulita, we are passionate about sharing our love of food, family, and friendship with you. Whether you are hosting a wedding, retreat, business event or an intimate event we will work tirelessly to make sure your occasion is unforgettable.

In addition to our restaurant Tierra Viva and the second floor Event Venue Tierra Viva Terraza we can cater to various types of locations including beachfront venues and private villas.

We specialize in local and Mexican cuisine innovating the menu with international fusion, including tropical and Caribbean flavors, as well as the Mediterranean, cuisines of Asia, France, and the Americas.

We are happy to provide tastings in order to design a personalized menu for larger events such as weddings!

We are offering tequila and tapas pairings by reservation at Tierra Viva Restaurant or at the comfort of your villa. From Tequila Blanco, Reposado, Anejo to Extra Anejo. Our Chef will explain the process of making tequila, the difference between each of them and the creation of every plate. 3 Tequilas & Tapas pairings cost $300 MX/person, 4 Tequilas (including extra anejo) & Tapas - 500 MX/person.

In a class of its own!

Charlie and the rest of the team at Tierra Viva catered our 85-person wedding on the beach in San Pancho. All I can say is wow! The food was exquisite and super fresh (everyone raved about it and we saw lots of people go back for seconds... and thirds!). Everything about the service, i.e. logistics, finances, punctuality, was so straightforward and professional. If you're thinking about hiring a great caterer for a big event, this is your guy!

Ideal for Event Catering - Great location, Excellent Food, Drinks & Service!

Tierra Viva is always a sure bet for a great meal so I was excited to plan an event there. Charlie, Melanie, and their Team did not disappoint - in fact they exceeded my expectations. The new Terraza is a great open-air location for a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, or other special event. They set up an authentic grilled-to-order taco station and a table with all the salsas and fixings. The food and drinks were top quality, exactly as would be expected from this restaurant. Service was attentive and the waitstaff were helpful and friendly. The pricing was very fair and a great value for the quality and service provided. After 10 years of event planning in Sayulita, it is always a pleasure to get to work with a new partner/vendor that does a great job. I will definitely recommend this location to future clients and anyone looking for a great spot for a lovely special event.

April 2011 we visited Sayulita for the 1st time, at the end of our 4 days we left Sayulita with the intent of moving here. In October the move to Sayulita was a reality. In 2014 our friend Daniel ask if we wanted to have a new adventure, the new adventure was Tierra Viva. We have no regrets about our new life in Sayulita.
