El Templito in Sayulita is located just above the beach at the quiet north end of Sayulita Bay, set in a lush tropical garden under a giant Fig Tree. There are ocean views, a swimming pool, and balmy sea breezes.Stately Cantera stone stairs lead down from the vine covered parking area above, to a lovely little courtyard filled with tropical plants. Beautiful hand carved Cantara stone columns support the tile roof covering the open-air combination kitchen/living/ dining room. The surrounding arches frame the lovely views looking out on the hills of Sayulita, the tropical gardens, the pool, and ocean and beach views.There are Mexican tiled counters and modern appliances in the well- equipped kitchen.
Just off the patio is a small wading pool with a waterfall that leads down to the larger, deeper pool.
A cobblestone stairway to the beach leads down through lush gardens of heliconia, palms, and gingers to your own private entrance to the north end of Sayulita beach (Playa Norte.) There are trails to the pristine beaches to the north, about a 20 minute walk. You can also continue on to San Pancho, the next town north and take a cab back, if you wish.
El Templito has two air conditioned King size bedrooms that are in separate, adjacent buildings. Each suite has gracious Mexican tiled bathrooms with showers, comfortable king size beds, handmade local hardwood furniture and regional artwork.
Amenities include bath and beach towels, quality bed linens, purified, reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, and maid service. There is high speed WiFi internet access, and TV/ DVD player. There is a laundry above next to the parking area for guests.
El Templito is a perfect getaway for Honeymooners, two couples, or a couple with an older child or friend, (Due to the separate bedrooms and the open architecture, we do not recommend this house for small children, unless you have a nannie cam or they can sleep in your room on a cot.)
El Templito is a peaceful, tranquil retreat where body and soul can relax and unwind. Enjoy the ocean views, listen to the waves and exotic jungle and sea birds, and be awed by the spectacular sunsets. El Templito is a the perfect place to be at peace and harmony with nature and enjoy beautiful Sayulita.
El Templito can be rented with Mi Casita for three bedrooms or with Mariluna a beautiful three bedroom villa just above Tempito for a total of six bedrooms which can accommodate 12 people, or any combination thereof. The Casita is a totatly independent apartment with kitchen, full bath, and patio with great views to the beach and ocean. CANCELLATION POLICY: If cancellation of rental reservation is requested by Renter up to 60 days (120 days for Christmas) before rental arrival date then the total amount of the rental will be returned minus $150 USD transaction fee. If cancellation is requested after 60 days (120 days for Christmas) before arrival date then no money will be returned unless the property can be re-rented for this period. There will be a transaction fee of $150 USD assessed from total amount refunded.

At the house we enjoyed the amazing colorful local birds and the lush gardens on the property. We spent many days lounging by the pool and walking the beach.
I cannot say enough about our time there and look forward to returning with some of our kids in the future!
El Templito is like living in a treehouse. The only indoor space are the bedrooms/bathrooms, and the kitchen, seating area and pool are all out doors. Surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. It was beautiful and perfect.
The location was also amazing! We didn't want to be in the town/city, but we were only a 10 - 15 minute walk away. We were also just steps from the beach which was exactly what we wanted.
It was definitely my favorite vacation rental to date!!! Can't wait to come back!
The outdoor kitchen was the best. I don’t know how it would be in the heat of summer, it is shaded, but this time of year it was absolutely perfect.
Two king bedrooms. Just steps to the beach. It was amazing. Iris and Bertha are integral parts of your stay. They’re very helpful, Bertha is an amazing cook and I just can’t say enough
Iris, Daniel and Bertha were friendly and very helpful when we needed them. The house is clean, the grounds are well cared for and gorgeous.
We did have some mystery guest steal a few pieces of fruit from the kitchen, which is outdoors (maybe a bird?) but we didn't give it a thought. We just laughed it off and kept right on smiling. Now we're just trying to figure out when we can go back.
