Charlie Higgins & Sunset Station Wedding Band in Sayulita - Driven by our passion for live music, we approach every wedding or event in Sayulita with one goal in mind: to create a memorable, magical experience for everyone involved. We always consult with our clients at the start of the booking process regarding their musical preferences, guest profile and type of event they have in mind in order to develop the perfect song list and dynamic to match the mood, whether it’s a raucous party or mellow cocktail hour.

Charlie Higgins & Sunset Station Live Music in Sayulita will provide you with a list of songs in our repertoire, and if you have any special requests you can just let us know. We can play just about anything, though we try to set ourselves apart from those cookie-cutter “wedding bands” that just read top 40 charts off an iPad. We want your event to feel intimate and special, where your guests pack the dance floor, singing along to fan favorites like “Tennessee Whiskey” or “Me and Julio Down By the School Yard”. We want you to have that warm, fuzzy feeling that only a kickass live band in Sayulita can provide!

The best band you could ever ask for!!

Lost Count of the Amount of "Best Wedding I've Ever Been To" Remarks!

We just got married on Saturday, and holy cow did this band DELIVER. My husband and I have been to over 150 weddings together, and we agree with all of our guests - this was the best wedding reception we've EVER been to, largely due in part to Charlie & Sunset Station.

The coolest part, in my opinion as the bride, is that the band was there during dinner and speeches and wove in special lines from our Best Man and Maid of Honor toasts throughout the evening. Being referenced as "Sparkles & Mr Clean" was HILARIOUS and made us feel so special and it feel really intimate and personal (which you want at your own event!!). Stevie & Charlie are an awesome duo that are super engaging and really vibe off of each other well.

Everything leading up to the event was super seamless and low stress. We reached out to Charlie via Instagram last summer and he has been an absolute joy to work with through each step of the process, even reaching out directly to my planner to confirm a few final details and even come set up and sound check early. Charlie also took the liberty to put together a playlist for the set breaks (that I promised I'd provide but my pre-wedding scatter brain got the best of me) -- it was perfect and very cohesive with our preselected set songs.

Charlie culminated the perfect set list order to keep it engaging and high energy all night, for all ages. He is truly a professional and remarkable at how he coordinates, communicates, and executes.

I would recommend Charlie & Sunset Station to ANYONE looking to throw the best event of their lives. 100000/10 recommend this crew!!!

Ultimate Wedding Band

We reached out to Charlie a few months before our wedding after seeing a few videos of the band. Charlie's was responsive and clear in his communication throughout the entire process. First, we provided him with a general vibe of what we wanted and he helped us decide between the quartet and quintet which ended up being super helpful for the type of music we wanted. We sent Charlie a set list 3-4 weeks before the wedding and the band was able to create a flow with our song list that worked perfectly. From the first note, all of our guests were captured by the quality and energy of the band. They had the entire wedding on the dance floor from early on until the end of their 2nd set. We had numerous guests asking us how we found this awesome band and telling us "this was the most fun wedding band they had ever heard". If you are a true lover of music (classic rock, blues, rock & roll, etc.) then Charlie & Sunset Station are your top choice. We could not recommend the band more!

YES - don't think twice! Amazing people and artists

There is no wonder everyone has given 5-star reviews all around. Charlie and the band are all incredible. They played for our Welcome Party at Frente al Punto and everyone said the same thing to us during/after: "I don't know how the actual Wedding is going to top this!"

They absolutely rocked and the second-most popular comment was "wow they have such range in music". This is true. The songs they already know are more than enough and part of what makes them extra special is that they learned a few new songs for us, which they CRUSHED!

Truly, our Welcome Party with Charlie and the band could have very well been our wedding party.

Even if you don't have the luxury of listening to them in-person before you book them, I can promise you they bring such awesome energy and are so, so talented.

I have very pick music friends and they all had the best night of the weekend***

Unbelievable Performance! Unbelievable People!

We have just come back from Bucerias where we celebrated a 60th Birthday. Charlie Higgins and his band performed for our small private party and I cannot say enough about them. They are so good, so much fun and the kindest people you will ever meet. Their music is amazing and they went over and above in helping make our small party a success. Everyone at the party continue to talk about that day because of them and will talk about this for a long time. We know we will be back and know we will hire them again and again. They are that good!!! Thank you Charlie, Stevie and the band for making our celebration the best day ever!! Advice for all of you out there needing a band.....do not look any further...Charlie Higgins and the Sunset Station is where its at!!!!

Don’t wait. HIRE THEM!!!

We hired Charlie Higgins and Sunset Station to play at our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception last weekend. The music was the highlight of our wedding, no questions asked. My guests were obsessed with Charlie & Stevie and they complimented us on our band choice all night. Charlie & Stevie had everyone dancing until the very last minute and the horns were incredible (definitely worth every penny if you’re debating getting them). I communicated with Charlie exclusively throughout the planning process and he was incredibly patient and easy to work with, even when I was not the best at responding to emails. They learned 3 songs for our first dances which was really the cherry on top of an incredible experience. 10/10 would use them again and again for future events. Do yourself a favor and hire Charlie Higgins and Sunset Station!!!

Unreal Band - Wedding Reception was electric

We hired Charlie and the band for our wedding at the St. Regis Punta Mita. Charlie was very responsive during the planning stages and accommodating on our set list and special songs. The band absolutely rocks and had every guest dancing at our reception. Our guests could not stop talking about how good the band was. We are so happy we hired them for our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!!!
