The stage is finally set for Sayulita’s newest international music festival. This April 5th and 6th we invite music lovers throughout Bahia de Banderas and beyond to attend the first annual Sand & Strings Music
Festival at Frente al Punto Beach Club, featuring an incredible, diverse lineup of Americana, folk, blues, singer-songwriter and indie rock artists from far and wide:
-The Brothers Comatose, The Mother Hips, T Sisters, Whiskerman, and Adam Spry (San Francisco)
– The Franklin Electric, Benjamin Dakota Rogers and Anna Katarina (Canada)
– Rayland Baxter, Willy Tea Taylor and Bertha: Grateful Drag (Nashville)
– Vera Pedro and Gran Sur (Mexico City);
– Genaro Palacios & Bad Boy Blues (Guadalajara);
– The Sweet Lillies (Colorado);
– Lola Cobach and Fede Petro (Buenos Aires, Argentina);
– The Lowest Pair (Seattle);
– Dead Horses (Milwaukee);
– Handmade Moments (New Orleans);
– Local artists Charlie Higgins & Sunset Station, Holy Hannah!, Eliza Barry and Bobbi & The Others.
This family-family event will feature a Main Stage on the beach and a Small Stage nestled among the trees on the opposite end of the property. A talented team of sound and lighting technicians from Northern California’s festival scene are traveling down to ensure the artists sound and look amazing, with local sound providers Winners and Groove House supplying the best equipment available.
Expect epic jams, on-stage collaborations, tear-jerking songs, jaw-dropping musicality, and loads of fun, not to mention gorgeous natural scenery (if you’ve never been to Frente al Punto, it’s basically heaven on Earth). Kids under 8 enter for free, and there will be a supervised kids area with a bouncy castle and arts & crafts activities for the little ones.
General Admission attendees will enjoy curated local food & beverage vendors including:
-Su Pancha Madre, traditional sopes featuring pre-hispanic ingredients from San Pancho
– Rollados, hand-rolled ice cream tacos, a new Sayulita favorite!
– Buclas, local family-owned craft brewery from Bucerias
– AYU Being Human, plant-based homemade dishes from Sayulita
