S.C Association Meeting 3
December 20, 2004 (10 attendants) We have received an email from Dr Szekely regarding our requested action against our concerns with Ollie’s developments. He is planning on coming during the week of Jan. 10 the compile this case and suggest the strategy he proposes to follow. Please send all information regarding his actions including photos to us before Jan 3 in order for us to compile and send a detailed memorandum to him asap. We will not be meeting on the 27 of December, our next meeting will be the following Monday (Jan 3), 900am. People can come and request breakfast (250pesos) in advance at 800am on the morning of the meetings. The main goal of this meeting is to further discuss Ollie’s area of concern, review the systems that we carry out during the meetings with the members that have not attended the previous 2 meetings and further discuss advertising. There are a number of new members attending – members from last year Bell - Suggestion to send emails to all involved in Kevin’s development issue. She will take care of putting together these email addresses for us. Sajeela – recaps the issue of Ollie’s as we have discussed previously Bell – concerned as well with the water and septic, Mango grove (robertos) 110 houses for development - Addressing and interfaceing with local community - West side of revolution street area is being burned Saj – one of the main things that Dr. Sz says is that all people (foreigners included) here have the right to bring the concern of environmental damage and bring it to action. Env. Imp./forest impact / building impact. This town is now being watched Bell – American be called foreigner would be better terminology - How do we take action Gely – take pictures write concerns and these will be taken to Dr. Sz. Profepa and Semarnap is brought in, necessary legal action will be taken.
Saj – talk about lowering density for exclusivity will still bring in $$ to community, addressing concerns of developers
- Dr. Sz says once this community is established it will run itself in the awareness of the environmental laws and systems to deal with those who go against regulations.
Saj – everyone in the meeting agrees that water is one of the most important issues.
Bell – Sewer is one of the largest issue that we should address
- PC asks Harvey where are the plans, he says the sewer plans are in Colorado
Bell – Septic and water
Saj – the 2 groups, PC and ours, will meet together and work on issues
Gely – the issue of sewer has been an outstanding problem for a long time
Janice – there is no place settled for even a treatment plant
Saj – Once this association gains trust and funding Dr. Sz can be active and take on issues more than just one at a time.
- That is why Ollies is the one issue we can address.

Saj – Ian has offered to put our information into a web site
- We are working on consolidating of our account/$ so that this information can be sent out to everyone
Bell – Why did we need this report in Dec. when it cost all this money
Saj – Dr. Sz needs the information from an official study in order to bring to the table of the legal battle facts and numbers of the current situation/issues we are dealing with.
GPS will be used for identifying Villa amor to determine what zone it is in CUC or T15
Richard – will send information from this meeting to his friends that had misunderstandings of initial meeting

We are currently working on our mission statement and objectives etc. to bring for approval to the group members
The Mission statement of the Ciudadanos Proactivos De Sayulata AC (CP) will be attached.
