How long has MACEVENT been in business and where is the office/warehouse located?
We have been in business for over 15 years now working in the tourism and event industry. We specialize in conventions and weddings. Our show room is by appointment only and is in Plaza Marina Local G-18 in Puerto Vallarta. We also have an office in Puerto Vallarta, which is located at Obelisco #208 Colonia Villa Las Flores, and we have four warehouses located north of Puerto Vallarta.
How did you company first start?
In 2005 we started with enough equipment to rent out for 100 people. We are now the biggest event rental company in Bahia de Banderas, with a big presence on the internet and are recognized as offering great, quality rental equipment, as well as top-notch service.
What areas do you service?
We service a huge area, aside from Sayulita: From Careyes all the way to San Blas. Areas that we service include Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, Punta de Mita, Conchas Chinas, La Cruz, and Litibu.
What do you like about owning your business and servicing the Sayulita area?
Each event is a new experience and we get excited about being a part of the event and seeing how it turns out. I always enjoy checking with our clients and asking how they felt the event went.
What type of rental services do you offer?
We offer furniture and prop rentals for events, conventions and weddings, and most importantly, we do it with a high quality of service.
You have a large number of options for furniture for rent. Will you tell us more about the selection?
Yes, we have classic furniture, which uses table cloths. We have 26 colors options, like no one in the area. We also have a fine wood line, which includes rustic, vintage, chocolate, white, and more. For lounge options, we also have furniture available. For chairs we have more than seven varieties to choose from.
We have a warehouse for furniture maintenance to ensure it all is in perfect condition. Our staff does everything. We even have our own laundry and everything comes perfectly ironed and clean.
What sort of events do you service? How big do they need to be?
We do all sorts of events, from 1 person to 5000 people. We have all the equipment to cover this big of events.
You offer themed events. Will you please share more about this?
Yes, we design the events or we have the furniture to provide to event designers for these sort of events. Our clients are from all over the world and they are expecting the best.
Which themed event is most popular and why do you think this is?
Beach party themes are very popular since the area is a beach destination. Rustic events are also popular.
Which event that you have done stands out in your mind? Will you describe it?
There was a white event on the beach, in a villa, with all the luxury of being in a city. It was mixed with a rustic touch.
Do you work with any of Sayulita’s wedding planners?
Yes, we work with the best wedding planners in the area.
How much advance notice do you need for renting out equipment?
At least one week. The earlier you rent the equipment, the better. Four to six months in advance is ideal to reserve everything needed.
What fees are associated with renting furniture and so forth?
Rent, transportation, service, and tax, which is mandatory. This includes being on site at the time needed and picking up the items when the event has finished.
What can people expect when they hire you?
They can expect to have the best in furniture, which will be clean and perfect. They can expect our staff to always be on time and to have everything completely set up by us. Our clients can tell us where the event is going to be we will do a perfect set up.
