The newly added 30 foot outdoor palapa is perfect for morning yoga. The casa is located in an ecological preserve and runs on solar. The views go on for miles, fishing boats pass slowly by, and you can see, and sometimes hear whales spouting and frolicking with their calves. As good as it gets!
My wife and I have stayed here 4-5 times in the last 3 years and we absolutely love it. This is basically a gorgeous, comfortable, safe and amazing private resort (at ABNB rates). If you like seclusion and going "off the beaten path" like I do, you'll love this place. It's amazingly comfortable with all the modern amenities (yes.. AC too) with a stunning view. The kitchen is fully stocked and allows for easy meal prep, but the town of Sayulita, with great restaurants / taco stands / bars, is only a 10 minute drive away. I'm normally not the type to vacation to the same location, but this place is so amazing (Jubiloso means Jubilant and that's accurate) and so relaxing (you're truly off-grid here) that this is our "go-to" place for a "relaxing vacation in the sun". On top of all of that, the owner/operators are great people to work with and the wonderful "local staff" are there when you need them (and not when you don't). I can't recommend this place enough. Matter of fact... I've literally recommended this place to dozens of friends and family.

Super relaxing & beautiful place to stay!
We’ve been to the Casa Jubiloso several times now and already have plans to go back. The Casa itself it perfect. It’s in a beautiful, somewhat remote setting (but definitely close enough to town for activities), is stocked with everything you need to make delicious meals, has a balcony overlooking the ocean which is perfect for reading, relaxing, morning coffee, evening dinners, etc, a pool with lounge chairs— perfect for hanging out in for hours, and is all around just a perfect, peaceful, very comfortable place to stay. Cari & Craig are super friendly & helpful, and have great recommendations. Overall I give Casa Jubiloso my highest rating and would recommend a stay here to anybody.

A pocket of paradise!
This was our third stay at Casa Jubiloso! The solitude, beauty and nature keep calling us back, and we were happy to nest once again in the comfortable and beautiful casa and grounds. There are many thoughtful appointments, and this time the pool was warm enough to float in for extended periods of time! Thanks you, birds and whales, for making special appearances for our pleasure!

Pure Paradise!
We stayed at Casa Jubiloso the month of February, 2019. From the moment we arrived we were in heaven. This is a very enchanting, peaceful place. There were three adults initially; my sister, my husband and myself, and then later in the month another sister and her husband joined us. We were about 2 miles from town. It was an easy walk on the jungle path, and great exercise for us. We figured we walked 35-40 miles during the month we were there! We took cabs back to the casa from the town plaza, as going UP the jungle road was much more challenging. This ended up being a very cheap option for us, versus renting a car or gas golf cart. We had plenty of space to spread out, and never any issues with privacy. The casa is well laid out, and is equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and bathrooms spacious and private. The views from all rooms of the house are spectacular, and the sunsets amazing. Moises, the gardener, and Nati, the maid, couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Anything we needed they were willing to help. The morning light filling the living area was beautiful as we lazed about drinking morning coffee. And every morning there would be a scratch at the kitchen door and Ella, the super friendly, and very sweet dog next door, dropped by for a morning treat and rub! We all adored her. There is no WiFi and cell coverage was nil, but we easily caught up on news and family every time we went into town. And we can't say enough positive things about the people of Sayulita. We never had one problem, and we were all over that town. Thank you Craig and Cari for a trip of a lifetime! We will be back!

Wonderful Sayulita Getaway
This was our third trip to Sayulita, and first stay at Casa Jubiloso. First 2 trips we stayed in properties directly in town, with Jubiloso about 2.5 miles outside of town. We've always rented golf carts, and for this property I'd highly recommend one (gas powered) if you plan frequent trips into Sayulita. This property is best for 2 couples or less, as it only offers 2 bedrooms/bathrooms. The 2nd being in the apt below. Both have master suites attached, and each has a twin bed in addition to King (main floor) and Queen (below apt). We found ourselves making loads of Pico in the kitchen and relaxing all day, poolside. The view is spectacular, and the privacy/seclusion was fantastic. We didn't spend much time under the palapa, but if shade is important to you, look no further.
Eric, the property manager lives just down the hill and was very helpful when we needed anything at all.
Of the 3 homes we’ve stayed in Sayulita, Jubiloso has by far the best pool. Plenty of space for several people, and nearly 6 feet deep. The other 2 have been glorified hot tubes, which seems to be a trend in many of the rentals in town.
We took 2-3 trips into town daily, Sayulita has fabulous shops and street food both day and night. Also offers a couple markets to get fresh foods for cooking at home. Having the gas powered cart from the rental company Craig recommended on his website, it took about 10 minutes each way to get to and from town. If you’re a beach goer, just down the hill from Jubiloso is access to an excellent virtually private beach. If you’re into reality TV (like my wife), and feel like climbing some rocks, you’ll discover the house used for Bachelor in Paradise on north end of this beach.
If a quite getaway is what you’re seeking, and okay with being slightly outside of town, look no further than Casa Jubiloso.

Simply AMAZING!
We spent 9 amazing days at Casa Jubiloso and cannot say enough about how incredible this place is! The photos do NOT do it justice! The views from the veranda and the pool are breathtaking and you never ever tire of gazing out at the ocean...there is also no better place for incredible sunsets!

This was our third trip to Sayulita and the fourth different place we have stayed at and it is absolutely the best we have had! A few lessons learned from our trips...

1. Consider using a car service to pick you up at the airport and take you to Sayulita. The taxi drivers at the airport usually don’t like going out to Sayulita and they are usually small, cramped and uncomfortable. We use Versa Premium car service out of Sayulita and they pick you up in a comfy, air conditioned, suburban! And then they come and pick you up to take you back to the airport! Amazing service.

2. Rent a car or golf cart to get around, there is no better way to see all of the sights in a Sayulita! Craig was able to recommend a local car rental company to use that is extremely reasonable for price (don’t rent at the airport!!) or contact Sayulita Golf Cart rentals.

3. Get some supplies on your way to the Casa...once you are there you don’t want to leave!! We stopped at the Mega in Bucerias and picked up enough supplies to last us the first couple of days so we could just relax and enjoy the Casa!

4. Make sure you have an international plan for cell phones as there is currently no wifi at the Casa and sometimes you just need to contact the outside world...or the property manager! LOL

Casa Jubiloso is incredibly comfortable and has a wonderful blend of traditional Mexican and modern conveniences...there wasn’t anything that we needed that wasn’t provided! We will absolutely book this property again and hope you consider it as well...you will NOT be disappointed!

Great Views, Relaxing Vibes, And An Awesome House
We spent our honeymoon at Casa Jubiloso in June 2016 and had a wonderful time. The casa is a perfect place to unplug, relax, and really bask in the tranquility of nature.

The yard is beautifully maintained and the pool is amazing. We so enjoyed our time outside during our stay!

The terrace was another place we spent much of our time. You cannot imagine a more beautiful view than jungle and the Pacific Ocean. We got treated to amazing sunsets and awesome wildlife viewing opportunities as well.

We were very comfortable inside the casa as well. It’s very cozy, and we loved all the small touches the owners added that make it feel like a home!

Add in a ten minute walk to the nearest beach and you can imagine Casa Jubiloso is a difficult place to leave. We would not consider any other vacation accommodation in Sayulita.

Best vacation we ever took!
We were blown away by the view when we arrived at Casa Jubiloso. The house sits on a hill overlooking the
jungle. There is a panoramic view of the ocean. Whales can be seen at times from the veranda. Bananas
were growing on a tree close to the house plus a colorful row of flowers nearby. The large veranda was a wonderful place to enjoy brakfast and some other meals. It even had a hammock to relax in. We stayed in the
lower level which was very roomy, comfortable and homey. The entire house was tastefully furnished and decorated. A short 10-15 walk to the beach. A longer walk to the small surfing town of sayulita. A taxi is avail-
able if the walk is too much. The house also has a private pool.

Wonderful Vacation Retreat!
We experienced a wonderful stay at Casa Jubiloso and came away relaxed and energized by our experience. The views were amazing as we watched the sun set over the ocean each evening and parrots flying by in the jungle below as we drank coffee on the veranda each morning. Beautiful home, nicely furnished, quiet and a great retreat. The delightful pool was welcomed in the afternoon after short walks to secluded beaches. The quaint village of Sayulita is nearby and offered good restaurants and shopping. However, we found it hard to leave this gem of a retreat.
