Casa Higuera in Sayulita is your destination for relaxing and enjoying Mexico’s rich cultural and natural beauty, and our beachfront properties provide the perfect accommodation to enjoy Sayulita’s window onto Mexican village life in a spectacular coastal setting. What sets Casa Higuera apart is it's beachfront location, gorgeous ocean views, spacious and attractive design, and exclusive southside location on Sayulita’s best hill overlooking the bay - just steps away from both beach and village. Our properties are built with traditional and contemporary Mexican architectural design elements – including palapas, Spanish arches, vaulted ceilings and hand-painted Mexican Talavera tile. It is attractively decorated with Mexican arts and crafts we have collected from all over Mexico. Casa Higuera is surrounded by tropical lushness on our private, landscaped hill that meanders right down to the beach. We have both a pool and a beach area for the exclusive use of our guests. Guests also enjoy daily housekeeping service (except Sunday).

When you enter Casa Higuera you will be overtaken by the panoramic views of the beach, bay and village. Designed in the spirit of indoor-outdoor living, the whole front of the casa opens through sliding doors onto an expansive, 45-foot long patio – bringing coastal Mexico right to your doorstep.
Casa Higuera contains two private bedroom/bathroom suites (both king-size beds), and an additional half-bath off the living room. The couches in the living room can also sleep two additional guests, if needed (for children, for example). You can cook all your meals in the home’s spacious, fully equipped Mexican kitchen and dine alfresco under our huge thatched palapa roof on the front patio, or in the indoor dining room. While sitting on our large L-shaped couches you can take in the view while enjoying our large collection of Mexican art books – and read about the Mexican arts, handicrafts, and antiques found throughout the house. Casa Higuera also has a shaded tropical garden courtyard that sits under the canopy of a 400-year-old Higuera tree.

We ask for a month's notice for full refund, and after that we will provide a full refund if we are able to re-rent the accommodation. We will work with you if something unexpected comes up that prevents you from coming.
The location is unbeatable, just a two-minute walk from the heart of town, where you'll find an array of amazing restaurants. Aaron, our host, was perfect - attentive and accommodating.
The only minor drawback is the music from the nearby beach bar, which can be quite loud on Friday to Sunday nights, sometimes lasting until 4 a.m. I'd recommend bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
Despite this small inconvenience, Casa Higuera is truly a slice of heaven on earth. The combination of its aesthetic beauty, prime location, and warm hospitality makes it an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a luxurious and authentic Mexican getaway, Casa Higuera should be at the top of your list.
