Hacienda Antigua Wedding and Event Venue at Rancho Escondido is a beautiful, private and gated estate, perfect for your special day! Located in a spacious 12-acre ranch just outside of Lo De Marcos (12 miles north of Sayulita), Hacienda Antigua is a one of a kind luxury property overlooking the crystal blue ocean and jungle. The property is large enough to host a beautiful ceremony or event for up to 150 people and can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 suites. (There is additional lodging for up to 26 more guests at 3 neighboring villas.) The location of Hacienda Antigua is perfect for those who want a secluded and private feel for their special event or wedding while still being close to all the small pueblos up and down the coast.

Sustainability and preservation are two main components that make Hacienda Antigua so unique. The interiors of Hacienda Antigua were constructed mainly of historic materials recovered from several Mexican haciendas and churches. Unique touches such as ancient stone, wood, and iron materials along with antique furnishings were hand selected to add character and history to the estate.

You can rest assured that your special event or wedding ceremony is completely taken care of! With an ideal layout for privacy and entertaining, Hacienda Antigua can comfortably host up to 150 people for your special day. Incredible house and beautiful venue & backdrop for a wedding.

The house was beautiful - the artwork, the layout, the pool, amount of shade, all contributed to a very comfortable experience!

The staff was exceptional - very helpful with breakfast, house cleaning and laundry needs.

The yard, palapa, bar area and view of the ocean also make this an incredible venue for a wedding, we hosted 120 people! The chef really enjoyed the spacious kitchen as well!

The owner does a great job communicating pertinent information ahead of time in order for you to prepare for your stay and ensure safe arrival for you, your guests and vendors.

All of the above led to a very memorable trip for us and our family on a destination wedding.

Absolutely Epic Wedding Weekend Venue

Hacienda Antigua is a striking location. Everything about it is magical, the decorative details, unique rooms, ocean view, Mountain View, dreamy pool, superb meals and beyond helpful staff. We had our wedding ceremony and reception there in December and from the beginning Kelley gave wonderful recommendations for a wedding planner, catering for the wedding and group meals, and the ease of planning and execution was remarkable. Every vendor we interacted with from the property staff, transportation, planners, and childcare were phenomenal and made our trip memorable and easy. We cannot wait for the annual vow renewal ;)

The wedding of our dreams!

We originally booked Hacienda Antigua for our wedding in 2019 and were due to get married in April 2020 however covid had other plans for us. We had to rebook our wedding twice and we finally managed to get married at Hacienda Antigua on November 12th 2022 and let me tell you- IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. From the start, Kelley the owner has been a pleasure to deal with, so accommodating and had time for any questions we had. Once covid cancelled our first wedding she was more than happy to be flexible with booking dates. We had never been to Lo de Marcos so didn't know what to expect with the venue and the setting. We saw pictures and videos of the hacienda but it wasn't until we walked through the door that we were able to see how special the place was. It is a truly magical place. The first time we walked through the door and made it out to the lawn and saw the breathtaking views it actually brought my husband to tears. Every detail has been thoughtfully placed into the hacienda and you could spends months looking at all of the special items in there, it was a feast for the eyes. The setting, the views, the ambiance, everything was just perfect. The villa manager was very resposive to our needs and the service was impeccable. We had quite a few wedding guests let us know that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to. Hacienda Antigua is such a special place and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the most magical wedding venue. The only thing to note if you do have your wedding here is that the transport is a bit difficult to manage. There are no signs to the hacienda and a few of our wedding guests got lost trying to find the venue. Nothing major but something to note if you do have people travelling to the venue who don't know where they are going.

Best wedding venue in the area, hands down!

My partner and I booked our wedding at Hacienda Antigua after touring as many properties in the Sayulita/San Pancho area as we could find. The property stood out far above the rest for its unique design and decor as well as its warmth and party-ready energy. The location is a bit off the beaten path, with the trade off being lack of noise restrictions, enabling you to dance your heart away into the night! The staff were exceptionally communicative and met our every need with consideration and care. It was an unforgettable place to hold this momentous event in our lives, and our friends will forever be talking about their stay at the hacienda and the not to be missed next door properties of Casa Molendera and Villa Boda. Look no further.

Dream venue

After countless hours searching for the perfect venue for our wedding, we came across this location via recommendation on a Facebook group. We immediately fell in love with it. We contacted Kelley and she quickly answered all of our questions and made the process incredibly easy! This place is a dream! Amazing Home and Wedding Venue

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hacienda and hosted an intimate wedding. Between the views, the home and the amazing staff and house manager Arcelia, it was a magical experience that we will never forget. You will be amazed by the architecture and incredible detail inside the home. The owner Kelley was very kind and attentive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back here. By far one of the coolest places I’ve stayed!

Amazing venue for an intimate and unique wedding!

We stumbled across Hacienda Antigua as a wedding venue on a google search and we are so happy we did! We hosted our 30 person wedding there and it was PERFECT! We hired a wedding planner, Somer from Vida Bonita Events, and she was so incredible to work with. We planned from afar and showed up without ever seeing the venue and the whole week was perfect! The house is gorgeous in photos and even better in real life. Every room is so unique and the entire house is so well thought out! It's the perfect house for family and close friends to stay. There are two other homes that can be rented for additional guests and they are gorgeous as well. The grounds are so well maintained. The yard, palapa and pool area make for a beautiful space to relax and enjoy life! We are so happy we chose Hacienda Antigua to celebrate our marriage. Every single one of our guests said it was hands down the BEST wedding they have ever been a part of. The house also includes a cooked breakfast each morning and every morning was different and delicious! We hosted a tequila tasting and dinner one night at the house and it was so much fun! Alonso was amazing! We felt like we had our own oasis in Mexico for the week. We can't wait to go back! I definitely recommend renting a car and providing transportation to guests not staying on site because it is very remote. Don't let that scare you. It's worth it!

Absolutely Gorgeous!

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. We rented Hacienda Antigua (and an adjacent property) for our group of 18. We celebrated our wedding right at Hacienda Antigua. It was so convenient rather than going to a separate location. There is a large yard where we had our ceremony and dinner. There is a large palapa with a built in wet bar (with full fridge), bathroom, and BBQ area. We were able to fit a band and our entire group comfortably in this area. The owner (Kelley) was helpful with pre-travel communication and recommendations. The property manager (Arcelia) was available during our stay, as well, and we also hired her to cook for us for our other meals... yum!

The Hacienda Antigua property is an absolutely gorgeous property. Our photographer had lots of great backdrops for pictures. The house itself is decorated perfectly, without any detail overlooked. The caterer had a large kitchen to work in, with a huge fridge/freezer and stovetop.

Would definitely recommend Hacineda Antigua and we are so happy we found this property to celebrate our perfect day! Our guests were equally impressed with the venue.

Unmatched Luxury with Comforts of Home

We could not imagine a more perfect venue for our intimate destination wedding. It was just the right mix of luxury and the comforts of home. The views are breathtaking and there are so many places for guests to relax, gather, and for fantastic photos.

Our guests could truly relax here and we loved having an intimate home environment for our wedding weekend. It was truly unforgettable.

The breakfasts were delicious (we loved the family style servings - and the fresh squeezed juice!). The staff was friendly and attentive while giving the group plenty of space & privacy.

The House manager, Gabriel, was so friendly, flexible and available to us, and our guests were as WOW'd by the home as we were. Ask him about fireworks :)

Kelley was immensely helpful throughout the whole process, even before we contracted. We were lucky to have caught her & Frank in Mexico for an in-person tour. The thoughtfulness and care they have put into the home is carried into their communications. I felt so supported through the planning process, and feel she went above the call of duty to share what she knew about the area, which was an incredible support.

We are so grateful to have found this Hacienda - it is now a very special place to us and our closest friends & family.

The most beautiful place

It’s hard to know where to start...so many wonderful things to say about Hacienda Antiqua. I was searching for almost a year for a wedding venue that felt right and coming up with nothing until I came across this home. When I went to see it in person it was even more spectacular than the photos. It really is magical. Kelley was so kind and easy to work with and I could tell she was really invested in our experience there. The wedding turned out to be beyond anything we could of dreamed of. Every vendor was easy to work with and did such a good job. Everyone of our guest said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to and no one wanted to leave at the end of the night!
The staff was great, they kept the house nice and clean and made breakfast for us each morning. We rented the two other houses on the property for our family and they all loved being there as well. We can’t wait to go back!
