Casa Deseo in Sayulita sits like an oasis in the heart of the wonderful cacophony that is Sayulita. Its minimalist white walls - actually more glass than walls - contain a peaceful refuge from the street dust and incessant sun. And yet Casa Deseo is inextricably linked to Sayulita life - one short block from the plaza and two from the ocean surf, on the stretch of Calle Revolucion with the hippest boutiques, steps away from the best restaurants. One finds oneself, at the end of an evening, finishing dinner in town and, within minutes, sitting with a nightcap in hand on Deseo's large terrace, under the Pacific stars.
We designed Casa Deseo to look different, but feel like the beach, and we encourage all who stay in the house to go barefoot or use the slippers provided. That in itself changes how you feel. It relaxes you. This ultra-modern house offers secret nooks to escape to with a good book and large open spaces in which to congregate for drinks and dinner parties. The three luxurious double bedrooms are all ensuite and there are three roof terraces with a rooftop pool that runs the entire length of the house (please note that the pool and jacuzzi are not heated). The state-of-the-art kitchen can be enjoyed by your party or used by our private chef to cater to your whims. Casa Deseo offers a beach living experience unlike that of any other property along this coastline.
We are especially proud of our manager, Maria, who looks after Casa Deseo. She's professional and pro-active in dealing with any issues that may arise during your stay. Maria speaks Spanish and English.
Casa Deseo is a family home, great for children, but does have some amenities that necessitate caution with toddlers and infants, including high staircases and the swimming pool.

The house itself is exactly as shown in the pictures. The location can’t be beat. You are right in the middle of town and while yes you can definitely hear the city outside, it didn’t impact our sleep or our stay in the slightest.
I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a better equipped vacation rental in terms of items of amenities in the kitchen (glasses, utensils, etc.).
The rooftop pool is a haven and deck above it is perfect for daytime workouts and late day cocktails.
I would not hesitate to stay in this beautiful house and hope to return one day.
Maria was so extremely accommodating and kind! She is definitely the best host I have ever had. We would definitely stay here again.
