Welcome to Casa del Sol in Sayulita, a comfortable, architect-designed house with pool on Sayulita's peaceful north end, surrounded by palm trees, just across the road from the beach.

Breezy oceanview decks on 3 levels offer the perfect settings for margarita sipping, sunset viewing, reading, watching the incredibly clear Sayulita night sky, or sleeping under the stars. The sparkling pool invites freshwater fun or that all-important air mattress time.

Large bedroom and studio feature King size bed, handcarved folding screen, writing desk and chaise lounge, all outfitted with artisan textiles. The two full baths contain natural rock-inlaid showers.

The well-equipped kitchen invites you to sample Sayulita's bounty of fresh seafood and tropical fruits. Gourmet coffee starts your day. Spacious living room with futon/couch and parota wood folding screen provide an additional sleeping option.

This house is perfect for two!

Location to the north end of the beach is perfect! Stayed here in 2014 and again in 2021. It's a wonderful "rustic" Mexican home. Patios, pool, and plenty of spaces, with a comfortable bed. Can't beat the value for a property with such a great location.

Great, quiet week!

We loved our time here! The place is great, Ivette and Rodolfo respond almost immediately. Anything we needed, they took care of.
It’s clean, comfortable (incl the bed!), and it has great patios. The pool is actually quite large & we loved swimming in the afternoon. The beach access is just across the street and 1/2 a block down. You can hear the waves (and see them) all night long.
Fyi - don’t leave any food out in the counter! lol

Nice Location and area to stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Sayulita, however this Casa could use a little TLC. For someone who likes to do some cooking when staying for awhile we found that the bbq wasn’t useable and kitchen could use a few more cooking items. During our stay the pool wasn’t maintained very well so we didn’t use the pool.There is lots of vegetation around the casa and found there to be lots of mosquitos so we had lots of bites.There are also critters that come into the casa so, you have to make sure there is absolutely no food , fruit etc left out. The place is in a nice location for walking to town and the beach. With a little TLC to the place we would have given this rental a higher rating.

Great location!

The house is beautiful. Tons of deck space in and out of the sun to relax. I felt totally safe and secure my entire trip. Rented a cart for day three and picked it up early to use the entire trip. Walking is totally do-able it just gets old in the hot sun. It’s in an awesome location outside of the busy streets and just about on the beach.

Perfect location just across from the beach. Very walkable to town

This is our second year coming to Casa de Sol....great house, very private and close to the beach and in the best location in Sayulita.
Property manager was great was there to greet us and we had a lovely conversation with him. we did have a problem with the wifi but he got right on it and we got a new modem and then we were good to go. Thank you again for another memorable time in this lovely little town.

Lovely Rental!

This was the perfect house for our trip to Sayulita. You can hear the waves of the ocean! Really made the trip amazing. It is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped for guests. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Casa!

Casa del Sol is situated perfectly...just across the street from the North Beach, away from the busy 'downtown' area. You can hear the waves from the casa and see them from the windows. It is very spacious, with multiple options for relaxing...by the refreshing pool, on one of the two upper patios, inside under the fan....The air conditioning in the bedroom is a life-saver. The staff are very attentive and there to help you with anything you need. It's a short, flat walk (10 min. or less) to the town square, and in between the casa and the town there are a number of restaurants to try. Our 3rd time in Sayulita and the best place we've stayed in so far!

Perfect Sayulita Rental!

Though the pictures on the website are nice and accurate, they truly do not do justice to Casa Del Sol. It was just what we needed in a rental and more. We were in Sayulita for a wedding and were able to visit many other rentals. Casa Del Sol is close to town but far enough away for privacy. We walked to town numerous times. You can hear the sound of the ocean from every room. The kitchen and bathrooms are supplied with what you need. Ivette is lovely and Rodolfo available. They attended to any, if any, concern we had. We are grateful we found this rental and will return for future vacations.

Our favorite place to stay in all of Mexico

At the risk of sounding obnoxious, my husband and I like to refer to ourselves as travelers rather than tourists. Ok, we're tourists, but we prefer to stay in areas where we can actually meet people who's job isn't only to cater to us. We've been in some beautiful resorts in Mexico, including Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen; however, our best experiences have been in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque, Zihuatanejo, and Sayulita where we stayed in smaller places. This is our second time at Casa del Sol; the first time we stayed five weeks, so we really needed the washer/dryer. This is a Mexican house, with all that comes with it, including oddly placed light switches, delicate plumbing, and critters in the kitchen (only gentle ones like sand crabs, little lizards, and the occasional oversized beetle). In other words, perfect. It truly is across from the beach, has beautiful landscaping, an excellent pool/patio area, and amazing views. Although only the upstairs is air-conditioned, we kept the downstairs cool with fans and open windows. The bathrooms are very nice, with good showers. We didn't cook while we were there because we don't like to cook, and the local food is delicious and affordable. For those who want to cook, however, there is an outside grill, and the kitchen is well equipped with a small gas stove/oven, full size refrigerator, cooking utensils, plates, silverware, and glassware. The gardner/pool guy and Belen, the housekeeper both were excellent. Whenever we had a small problem, it was fixed as soon as possible by the property managers, and that's no small feat in Mexico. This is the only place we will stay in Sayulita (we have been coming every year for five years), and we strongly encourage you to book it, but not when we plan to be there (just kidding). Fabulous place.
