Description

Cancion Del Mar in Sayulita translates to "Song of the Sea" and describes what you hear on the hill overlooking the ocean and jungle of Sayulita. It is the best of what Sayulita has to offer! The unbelievable view as you enter the arched gates at the entrance will take your breath and your problems away! The home offers luxury and comfort, as well as color and beauty.

La Casita at Cancion Del Mar has 2 bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, private living room, kitchen, dining room, pool and patio.

Upon entering the property, a winding, landscaped staircase leads your downstairs to La Casita at Cancion Del Mar. You enter the Palapa covered outdoor area complete with a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink, as well as a lovely living room and dining area.

There are two bedrooms in La Casita. Both rooms are colorful and offer king size beds with side tables, en suite bathrooms, 20 foot ceilings and ceiling fans + air conditioning. Each room also has the option to be opened onto the patio.

La Casita will sleep 4 people in beds. Two additional people can sleep on the sofas if desired.

La Casita at Cancion Del Mar also includes a private pool and large patio with lots of sofa sitting area and open area for sunbathing, dancing, gathering, all with an astounding view of the ocean. A great place to take a dip in the private pool and enjoy the sights and sounds

Amazing views, beautiful casita and wonderful service.

We vacationed at the casita for a week but wished it was longer. One day off the upper palapa pool area we watched a large pod of orcas feeding. It is an amazing view at any time but it was especially magical that day! We watched them until sunset.

The open air living/kitchen/dining area on the main area is beautiful. After dark is when it especially shines. The undercounter lighting and back splash lights are accentuated by a large metallic star shaped chandelier sculpture above. It rotates with the wind and the roof above is painted in such a way that it looks like the clouds are moving on the ceiling with it.

As well, the caretakers Enrique and Christina are lovely people and will help with any request. They made us feel at home.

Spectacular Views! This was beyond perfect.

This house was more than we could have asked for. We had a large group of about 14 and this house accommodated us perfectly! The views are beyond words as you are on top of one of the highest hills in the town. With that said, many have talked about this mountain that the house sits on top of. But, it should not steer you from coming to this place. The hike down is not bad and about 10 mins to the center of town. The way back we took taxis and paid about $5 to get back each time with all our goods from the grocery store. The home is very clean and everything works perfectly. I would come here time and time again. Rent this house if you want privacy and views that are unspeakable. No neighbors and no interruptions made this the best place i have ever stayed!

Great View and Service, Highly recommend

The experience was wonderful. There is a breathtaking view from the house of the ocean and the hospitality by the caretakers was fantastic. The house is on a very steep hill. The walk down is not bad and the town is right at the bottom of the hill. Suggest taking a cab back to the house or renting a golf cart during your stay.The Alley Cat boat ride was well worth the money and provided an amazing tour of the ocean and its local sea life. The town of Sayulita is friendly and full of cute shops and delicious food. We enjoyed talking with the people there and learning more about their culture.To end the trip we had a great massage. The friendly staff came out to the house and made it a very nice and relaxing day.I highly recommend this house to friends and family if you are looking for an adventure into Mexico.

The most beautiful house I've seen in my life.

My wife and I planned our wedding in Sayulita, and had 16 of our guests stay at both Cancion Del Mar and the adjoining house, La Casita, which is below. Both of these houses are unique and incredibly. Driving in to the top entry, all you see is an outrageously gorgeous view of the rainforest on one side and the ocean on the other. Walking down the staircase, the house opens up into a stunningly beautiful living room and kitchen with a pool, huge comfortable couch, and the master bedroom. This area was a perfect vantage point for my godbrother, a guest in the house, to find over 10 birds for his lifelist, as he is an avid bird watcher. Continuning down the stairs, the houses continue to be the most incredible living arrangement that I have seen in my life, and the views never end. We were able to see tons of wildlife, nature, and even whales from the porches. I could not reccommend these houses enough. Not only that, but the caretaker, Enrique, and his family were some of the sweetest, most accomodating individuals I met throughout our trip to Mexico. They were attentive yet also gave us our privacy. If you have a large group, do not discount this amazing place. Just beware of the giant Nanzal hill! The local cab drivers know how to negotiate the bumps and steepness, but other drivers, such as Uber drivers, get a little scared and might drop you off midway. Other than that--wow! Absolutley stunning!

Cancion del Mar is a place you will never forget if you stay here

“Cancion del Mar is a place you will never forget if you stay here. My family and I (11 adults and 5 children) stayed for six nights and we had more than enough space to wonder, eat and enjoy the view. The view is breathtaking and digital pictures cannot capture the beauty of this place. My favorite thing to do was wake up early and see the sun rise as well as see the sun set. We were celebrating a big bday for my husband and the hosts Enrrique and Christy went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was unforgettable. We had a special dinner prepared by the host, Christy, which was spectacular and scrumptious. The property is a 5 minute ride in car from downtown and with good walking shoes you can walk in 15 min right to the beach. The only downfall is that there are many stairs, but it pays off with the view. I would not recommend a ca rental because taxis will come get you within minutes of you calling them. If you rent both properties, you will have access to two kitchens and two pools. Our party ended up only using one because we stayed together.”

Breathtaking views, comfortable rooms, and peaceful

Cancion del Mar made my top ten list of favorite vacations! The home and casita sit a top a mountain with breathtaking views, wildlife, and infinity pools to keep you cool. All the rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning. The palapa in the main house is where I spent most of my days sipping pina coladas and dipping in the pool looking out to the vast pacific ocean. You can walk to town, but if you're like me it is worth the $4 for a taxi. The staff is fantastic...you barely even know they are there.

Amazing view!

Cancion Del Mar has the best views in Sayulita! It is very spacious so you had privacy if needed. Enrique and Christina went above and beyond during our stay. It was very clean. Cheap taxi rides to town , a lot of good places to eat. We never had a bad meal. People were very friendly. Short taxi ride to the ocean. We got to see a lot of neat birds. Small cabs are better to get up the hill than vans during the rainy season. We wouldn't recommend a golf cart. We would definitely go back it is such a amazing place!

Amazing view!

This was one of the best houses that we have stayed in Sayulita. We were just two couples so we had plenty of room as this house is big. The staff came everyday to do light cleaning and were available for any issues and questions. Since the house is at the very top of the hill it is very private. We did take the stairs down and back to the beach and would walk the road to town but would then especially after dark take a cab back. The cabs were very reasonable so that wasn't an issue. The house was clean and well cared for and it had everything that we needed for our week stay. I would definitely go back to stay and recommend it to friends.

Most Amazing View

This house is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for relaxation, tranquility and privacy. The memories of the stunning, panoramic views will be my happy place for a long time to come. The house has traditional, Mexican decor in every room. Our young adult kids and their friends who came with us loved it as well. They didn't mind being a little farther from the town. Enrique and Cristina were amazing. They were so helpful in every way. We had one night when the rain came unexpectedly and our kids and their friends were in town. Their taxi didn't want to take them to the top of the hill. Enrique went and got them in his own car. It turned out they wanted to walk in the storm, but he brought back the pizza, a case of beer and their cell phones. I call that going above and beyond! Cristina prepared us three meals that were amazing! Her civiche is the best I have ever had. They made our stay memorable and easy. I am so glad we made the choice to stay at Cancion Del Mar for our stay in Sayulita.

Probably the best view in Sayulita and the best sunsets!

Probably the best view in Sayulita and the best sunsets! The house is well equipped and comfortable. Everyone in our family had their own bedroom which allowed for some privacy. Daily housekeeping by Palo was really nice, and we also hired her & her assistant to cook us an authentic Mexican meal. It was absolutely delicious! All questions pre rental were answered promptly by the owner, Helen. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again.
