Villa Fiesta at Casa TereZola

Stayed for two weeks with our family in this beautiful villa. All the amenities of home 5 mins from the beach.
Terry, Z and Nicola are excellent hosts and we will make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

This place is a great little home away from home - equipped with everything you need. The space is great for solo travellers or couples. There’s a large shared roof terrace with 360 views of the town and great for sunsets and tanning. There’s help on hand 24hrs too. It’s a few moments walk to the centre but far enough away from all the noise at the weekends... highly recommend !!

Wow, where to begin... The entire "Casa Terezola" experience is just incredible. Easily one of the best places I have ever stayed worldwide, and I travel/move around the world quite a bit. I am also quite picky, so this says a lot :)

Terezola is a combination of the names of the owners/property managers here: Nicola, Terrie, and of course, Z. From the location (a nice quiet cul-de-sac a short walk to downtown and the beach) to the property itself (extremely comfortable, kept up-to-date and well taken care of), my stay at Villa Fiesta was nothing short of AMAZING. Terrie and Z are the some of the most thoughtful, understanding, patient and kind landlords I have ever dealt with. They truly want to make your experience in Sayulita amazing. They've spent 14 wonderful years here and because Terrie works from the office downstairs (its a 4 story building), the WiFi is as good as you can get in Sayulita. When I needed to park my golfcart, they set up a charging station for me, allowed me to wash it when needed, etc. When I was sick, Z answered within seconds giving me the names of two doctors that could come to the house. Terrie and Z checked in on me just the right amount (they were there when I needed them, and allowed me to have my independence when I wanted it). Anything I asked for, it was NEVER questioned, they were just there with open arms. These are just a few of the ways that they made my experience something I will never forget. While we were there, Terrie's family came down from the states and surprised her. It was so fun to catch up with her daughter and understand a bit more about how these two people spread joy wherever they are. They're fun, warm, and know how to handle expectations for those coming from a first-world country. You don't always meet these kind of genuine people in your lifetime, let alone as landlords, and I am just so grateful to have met these amazing people.

Nicola is just as warm, caring, and accommodating as Terrie and Z who live onsite. She worked with me every step of the way to meet my needs (like I said, I'm picky haha), and she even helped out my friend in a time of need (helped her securing housing when a bad living situation fell through). She responds right away, cares deeply about making sure you feel good in her place, and is just an all around WONDERFUL human to connect with. Nicola owns the two villas on the "second" floor (Azul and Fiesta). Because Nicola is from the US, she has also thought of everything you need to have in the apartment to feel comfortable if you're coming from the US.

There's a very quiet tenant who lives in the "basement" floor (I literally never saw him once, nor did I hear him), Terrie and Z live on the ground floor with their adorable cat and dog, and then there are two units on the "second" floor - Azul and Fiesta. The top floor is an incredible rooftop you see in the photos. It has a sink, shared grill, plenty of seating and amazing views as described. It was lovely to be a few steps away from this. My other homes in Sayulita didn't offer this at such a great price, so that was a big win.

I cannot recommend this place enough.

In terms of the more logistics stuff:
- The most stocked kitchen in all of Sayulita (trust me...). Literally every kitchen gadget you could need! A full sized oven, stove, fridge, etc.
- Very spacious bedroom and comfortable living room. The windows bring in great sunlight and views if you're working from the space.
- Plenty of lighting, fans in both the living room and bedroom, same with air conditioning.
- They supply water, refills on anything you need like TP and paper towels.
- The power did go out a couple of times and Z was COMPLETELY on top of it and it was resolved within a few hours each time. Totally normal for Mexico.
- Never ran out of water for the house even though it is currently on a tank (they are actively working on getting a line put in after 14 years of living there as well! this is a big deal in Mexico if you're unfamiliar.)
- There is a gated/locked door to the staircase you need to get into your place, plus a door to your hallway, so if you want to feel extra secure, you certainly will here!
- I had a friend stay in Azul across the hallway from Fiesta and we had the BEST time. I highly recommend doing that if you have a friend/family coming with you!
- The street is totally accessible by car if you're renting one, and there's a staircase near some of the neighboring houses you can use as a shortcut to avoid a "doable" hill if you want to.
- It is well lit at night and as a single, young, female I felt very safe here.
- I heard no noise from the neighboring houses or from town.

This place is amazing! I immediately felt at 🏡 there. The place is new, clean and beautiful. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is also an access to the terasse on the roof with a wonderful view of the ocean. I truly recommend this place. It felt a 🏡 away from home.

We rented Fiesta and Azul for Christmas and it was amazing!

Fiesta is gorgeous, full of color and with an exquisit mexican style, has a lot of natural light, everything about Fiesta makes you feel relax.

Fiesta is amazing, loved the living room area and how cozy it feels to be there chatting with your family.

Everything was amazing and the terrace in the upper floor was perfect for our Christmas dinner, my family was really happy, they wanna como back for next Christmas!

We loved our home away from home at Villa Fiesta! Ask Nikki anything, she has great recommendations and will hook you up! From the soothing sounds of Sayulita life & the beautiful colours around us, our trip was truly memorable. Go find the iguana tree and make sure to say hello to Roxy & Carlos - the doggies!
