Description

Casita at Casa Vela in Sayulita is an exquisite luxury casita located on the North end of Sayulita, part of a large estate overlooking the ocean, jungle, and village. This unique house is a fusion of traditional Mexico and open-air beach living. The warm yellow walls and Saltillo tile floors invite you to sink in and relax with the ocean breeze and sounds of the crashing waves.

The Casita, with its own entrance greets you with colorful rustic floor tiles and Mexican folk art. Patio doors open up so that you can enjoy the incredible ocean view and breeze. Comfortable furnitur and a fully equipped kitchen make this casita a perfect private hideaway. It includes one or two bedrooms; the master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has the option of a king bed or two twin beds. Each room offers A/C.

From each bedroom you will awake from a restful night’s sleep to see the ocean stretching out in front of you. Comfortable mattresses and pillows, high quality linens and towels add to the luxury of this tropical retreat. We have also installed security safes for your security and peace of mind.

The north end location of Casa Vela couldn’t be better, you are close enough to walk to town, yet far enough not to hear the late night music from the bars or (very) early morning crowing of the roosters! Everything was perfect

Upon arrival, Gabriel showed us around the gorgeous property. The view is breathtaking! The vegetation is amazing perfectly blends with all the landscape. The kitchen area is perfect for gathering and cooking. Everything was perfect. We can't wait to get back!

Absolutely Fabulous! Stunning casa, wonderful staff, amazing views!

We have stayed in many beautiful places in Sayulita and San Pancho and this casa has taken the Gold Medal! We will definitely return (if Cassie will have us😊). Cassie was considerate and accommodating from start to finish as we had some hiccups with friends pulling out of our trip and date changes which I know can be frustrating (as a vacation rental owner/manager myself). Gabriel, the property manager, organized with the staff, a delicious buffet for our son’s 13th birthday and had a cake brought in from Puerto Vallarta. A lovely evening!
We can’t wait to return and bring friends to this little bit of Mexican Paradise.

Fabulouos Sayulita Casa

This home exceeded our expectations! The layout was perfect so everyone had privacy and the main floor was a great place for everyone to hang out and enjoy the beautiful views over the infinity pool. We were in town for a family wedding and hosted a catered dinner for a party of 25 family members which was a perfect way to start our vacation. Gabriel offered the best services, referring the caterer to us and arranging airport pick ups. He and the staff were outstanding.

The best getaway house!

My 11 friends and I stayed here for about a week. We couldn’t have imagined staying in a more beautiful house. The decor of the place alone was amazing. The infinity pool is the perfect place to watch the sunset or a lightning show during thunderstorms. It has everything you would need, including AC in all the bedrooms. I will say some of the beds were rather firm for our liking, and a lot of us were bitten during the night. Bug spray is a must for the rainy/humid months! The stairs can get slippery when it rains or if you’re wet from the pool, so caution going up/down especially at night is suggested. We rented 2 golf carts because like other reviewers have pointed out, the hill to the house is rather steep so the carts were helpful. Super close to town! Gabriel was always around when needed, great communication. I would definitely look in to staying at Casa Vela next trip to Sayulita!

Artistic and Dramatic Spot

Casa Vela is one-of-a-kind. Spectacular views. Charmingly and eclectically decorated. Well taken care of. This home is incredibly special and a very good value. Things to keep in mind when you stay here: Casa Vela is on a steep hill making trips to town a little more harrowing than you might expect. Definitely get a golf cart to make the trip easier. Casa Vela itself is built on a number of levels - don't stay there unless you are able to negotiate lots of stairs. Other than those caveats, we can strongly recommend this beautiful spot.

Beautiful Location/Property and A+ Staff

My wife and 4 other couples stayed at Casa Vela in February to celebrate my 40th and we had a blast! You can't beat the view and each bedroom was spacious and private. Gabriel (property manager) set us up with transportation to/from PVR and greeted us upon arrival with fresh guacamole and margaritas! Cassie (owner) was always responsive to all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend renting golf carts to get around Sayulita due to the villa being on a steep hill/street and having Chef Ana Cecilia cook a meal at the villa to enjoy local cuisine. We will be back!

Beautiful place to stay. So much art work we felt like we were staying in a museum!

I would rate this place excellent but must mention the difficulty of getting up and down the hill. We were warned but each of my three adult children rented cars when golf carts are a much better option. The staff was excellent. They did our initial shopping and had several pitchers of margaritas waiting for us along with copious quantities of guacamole and pica de gallo and chips. The artwork in the house was amazing.

Unbelievable Vacation spot for a large group

We are a family of 7 and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of space for each of us to come together or have privacy. The view of the town and ocean was great. The daily maid service and local help really made our stay relaxing. The hill to town and the beach is steep so golf cart recommended. Cassie and her group went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Amazing property!

Casa Vela in Sayulita is an amazing property with a great layout, well appointed, lots of privacy and great flow. The property manager was extremely helpful and had margaritas and guacamole waiting for us at the time of arrival.

I suggest renting a car or local golf carts as it's a bit of a trek from town, but the golf carts make the trip all the more fun. There's six true bedrooms and each is incredibly private - great for a multiple couples. I would definitely stay here again and hope to soon!
