El Nido in Sayulita in the beautiful beachfront Flor de la Playa complex is a Mexican-style house with a bedroom, bathroom, and dining/living room area on the second floor overlooking the ocean. The house offers a full kitchen in which meals can easily be prepared. El Nido is located on the north side of Sayulita. The beach and large shared pool are only steps away. Entrance to Nido is by staircase on the right side of the building. The front door opens to a large living-dining-kitchen area with a doors leading to bedroom and bath.

Cross the romantic wooden bridge and follow the cobblestone path surrounded by lush jungle to reach the north beach, just steps away.

Great location,but a little long in the tooth

Lovely fgrtkuu nds, cute pool that is u heated- so mostly unusable. Mini al utensils and pots. Chairs are old and uncomfortable. Balcony provides a nice peekaboo view of ocean but is small ND front support in danger of falling off should so eone fall against it.
Everything g need some work.
That said it is comfortable enough- just a bit overpriced

Cozy, clean, close to the beach

The best feature is proximity to the beach; just a short walk down a path and you're there. However, based on the quality of the furnishings and the size and layout, I feel that it is very overpriced. It is certainly not worth more than $75 or $100/night compared to other Sayulita rentals we saw at $150 which is what we paid. The daily maid service was excellent. Chairs were uncomfortable (worn out cushioning). and the available cooking utensils appear to be throwaways. It was not a comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. AC struggled to keep the place comfortable with the open slat windows. We would not stay here again

Cute but no A/C

We were very disappointed with our stay here- the property was listed as having A/C. It did have A/C, but the A/C didn't work properly- the owner told us it never has. It was hot as hell in that place and we ended up sleeping at our friend's villa, which had real A/C.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The owner has decided to add a new a/c unit to the bedroom so that there will be two functioning a/c units in Casa Nido. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the one a/c unit not being sufficient.

Everything it said it was

We have rented in Mexico before and have been disappointed by people setting up all sorts of plans to meet us, make sure water was replaced, garbage taken, etc. and not having them follow through. This was the OPPOSITE experience! This place is absolutely like its photos and the pool is right outside the balcony and the beach really IS about a one minute walk. You have your own beach chairs and umbrellas, and beach towels and are at the north end of the beach which is remote and away from the crazy town nightlife. It is serene and beautiful. It is a perfect walk on the beach to town or on the road. The owner lives on the property and that is part of what made it great. He is friendly, walks by each day and asks how things are going and if we need anything. We had unseasonably rainy weather - every day! When we asked if there were cards or games to play he said "no" because people actually stole them but the next day there were cards and a crossword puzzle on the stairs to our place! Need a new corkscrew? It showed up. The maid service was included and consistent. The only loud night was not in his control - a wedding party at the property next door happened but that was the only noisy night. The waves lulled us to sleep each night. We highly recommend hiring Suli (not sure of the spelling of her name) to cook for you one night. She is an amazing chef and cooked enough for us to eat for almost the whole week! We want to return to this lovely duplex apartment and would not hesitate. We loved it and appreciated the care he took to make sure we were comfortable. AND the realty company was fantastic. We showed up the first day and they were ready to take us to the place, no problems or questions. GO! Enjoy!

Beautiful Spot!

We stayed for a week in El Nido and had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful; right on the beach, on the peaceful north end, a pretty walk into town. The accommodations are quaint and peaceful and have the "old world" feeling we like when we go to Mexico. At the same time, we had all the modern conveniences we needed to be very comfortable. The owner is very nice, always helpful and accommodating, and has lived in Sayulita for many years so is a wealth of information about the area. We highly recommend El Nido for your next vacation to Sayulita!

Quiet and relaxing stay

A wonderful place to stay! Everything was perfect, the owner, Bob, was so very helpful and accommodating and very eager to make sure we had an enjoyable holiday.
All the rooms are comfortable, clean, fully equipped and with amazing water views.
A very short stroll to the lovely, sandy beach where loungers are placed for relaxing.
All in all, a very special place to stay.

The owner, the property and the location were more than we could ever have hoped for

Do not hesitate to consider this property as your destination in Sayulita. Each of the Casas is unique with it's own special features. There are options for nearly every budget. You will have an easy walk (no steep hills) to town and the beach access path from your beach front casa is beautiful. The photos do not do this property justice. Our family used 3 of the rentals during our stay and we loved each one! We met and became friends with 3 more families who all enjoyed their time in the complex. They all plan to return and all were very happy with the facilities and staff.
