Excellent Crew and Sailboat - We had the best time!

Our multigenerational group from age 4yr to 81yr had a fantastic time! We did the 4 hour tour and it flew by so fast, we didn't want it to end. I'd happily book 6hr the next time! With lots of options in Bandera Bay from big group-tours to catamarans, pangas and everything in between, it is so satisfying to have picked the PERFECT boat tour: sailboat Taipan: gorgeous boat, great value. (1) Nice sailboat with canopy providing shade over part of deck (2) Lots of comfy seating on deck (3) Excellent crew! Captain Lee, Gerardo "Gerry" and Jose so personable, fun, welcoming, true professionals - the best crew in Banderas Bay I am certain! (4) We saw whales, pretty close and lots of Blue Footed Boobies flying zooming back and forth in front of the sailboat (5) There wasn't wind to sail that day, but the motor was very quiet (6) Delicious sandwiches, even made a few veg and vegan sandwiches for some in our group (7) Provided a raft and lots of pool noodles for the kids when we anchored (8)I just have to mention comfort and hospitality one more time! (9) We anchored at secluded beach - it is secluded but not a virgin beach, there is a condo there. If you want to get to a virgin beach you'd probably have to book a longer tour. (10) Last but not least, thank you Monika for excellent communication during the inquiry phase, thank you for your patience. Sailboat TAIPAN was the PERFECT boating excursion!!

Sail don’t motor - great day with lovely hosts

Beautiful tour that cares for the wildlife and takes care of guests. Good snacks and plenty of refreshments for drinkers and non-drinkers. Hosts passionate about the animals, and open to guest questions, suggestions and itineraries. Yacht rock soundtrack to set the mood, and super-informative discussion with lots of laughs. Skip the overloaded motoring boats if you care for the creatures (we saw whales, dolphins and loads of cool birds). Well run, on time, clean and comfortable. You won’t be disappointed!

Just Go!!

Highlight of the trip 2 years in a row. Brought new friends this year and they were awed. Small group, on a great sailboat. Tony and Monika are unbelievable hosts as well as expert sailors. They take you as close to the whales as is possible and maybe even a dolphin or 5:). Thanks again Tony and Monica, I’ll be back.

Yes, magical!

There is no better way to enjoy the beautiful Bahia de Banderas than by chartering a trip with Tony and Monika of Magic Charters. They are the most gracious and friendly hosts a person could want. They clearly love what they do and will make sure you have the best time possible. Maybe you will get a close-up look at some whales or get to swim on a hidden beach. In any case, you will definitely have a great time!

Whale watching mecca

We had a great morning on the water, although the light winds sailing weren’t great for sail our trip was fabulous. Tony and Monika put in position to see many whales, porpoises and even a fish feeding frenzy...the water was literally boiling. The Pegasus is a San Francisco racing class boat built in 1963 and truly an icon of the time.

Amazing Day

Sailing with Tony and Monika was an amazing experience. First, you actually SAIL! You rarely get that on a sailing charter. Second, we saw so many whales. It was truly magical. I know the whales are not guaranteed, but if you get to see half as many as we did this sail is worth it. It was so much fun that it will be the first thing we do when we return. Third, the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. Do not miss this sail!

Wonderful company
