Jaja Hacienda's "Santa Cachucha" casita in Sayulita is a charming combination of old world Mexico with all the modern convenience. The casita is private and surrounded by a lush garden in a quiet neighborhood just a 10 minute walk from restaurants, shops, activities, the main beach and surf breaks. It is also just a 5 minute walk to Playa de los Muertos, a great swimming beach.
This private casita is situated on a large, walled and gated property. Guests will enjoy a private oasis complete with a terrace, fountain, and lawns. There is a large covered outdoor dining and lounge area. As well, a fully equipped kitchen is available should you choose to make meals at home. There is a Smart TV with Netflix and Youtube and a safe for your valuables in the casita.
The bedroom has a king size bed and spacious ensuite bath that will make you feel like you are at the spa. An individual size bed is in the living room/kitchen area and can accomodate one extra person. There is A/C and fans for your comfort.
Our property manager lives in sayulita and is available to address any needs that may arise. The owners home is located on the same property although completely separate from the casita.

High Season (Nov-June): $165/night
Holidays (Christmas/New Years, Easter): $185/night

Cancelations and deposits:
All reservations require a deposit of 50% in order to hold the reservation. The balance of the rental charge is due 60 days prior to your arrival.
If you cancel a reservation and we can re-book the casita we are happy to refund your deposit.
We use PayPal as it seems the most secure method of payment for each party. We will never ask for a wire transfer. If you prefer, you can also etransfer.
For your security, we accept PayPal, personal checks, and etransfers. (we will never ask for a wire transfer).

A short walk to some very lovely beaches.
This place is a little treasure in Sayulita.
Tucked away just a small walk from the action is what we loved the most. Nice and quiet at night for good sleep and not much of a walk to some very nice coffee shops, restaurants and beaches.
What was especially nice, this rental is connected to Effie and Steve’s main house so it gave us a good sense of security knowing the owners were only through a garden gate if we needed them, plus they had four lovely and super friendly dogs also looking after us!
We felt Effie and Steve were more than happy to go above and beyond helping us out with questions and favors we asked of them. Super lovely hosts! Super lovely relaxing authentic Mexican house to stay! We’d revisit for sure!

This home is walkable to beaches and town. Yet, we didn’t hear any of the downtown noise.
Effie and Steve were fantastic hosts. I’m appreciative of their hospitality!
