Heven on earth.
Amazing place! So many wonderful pictures and words on a website invariably lead to disappointment in reality. That is not the case with Casa Iris.Words and pictures can not describe the beauty and serenity of this place. From the pool and hot tub, to the architecture, to the decor; simply, indescribable. 4 minute walk to the best beaches, restaurants and shopping, but once back at the house it feels you are a million miles away from everything. We are booking our next stay here as soon as we can.Thank you for everything!

Fantastic place!
We just finished a week at Casa Iris and it was wonderful. Eric and Isis are there for any questions and needs and are super friendly. The place was so comfortable and spacious. Even the beds were comfortable, which is a rare find. The nights were a little cool when we were there so we really enjoyed the hot tub....a rare treat in Sayulita. The distance to town is perfect, and flat for easy walking. So many great places to eat along the way. The beach is right across the street. The house does not get a lot of sun, so if you want to lounge in the sun you'll need to go to the beach, but it's only a minute away and there are chairs and umbrellas you can take. The kitchen has every thing you need, including drinking water and ice. We did a few day trips to San Pancho and really enjoyed the quiet scene, and it was so easy to get to. The internet works perfectly for those needing to have a work/vacation. Highly recommend!

Great Casa!
We stayed at Casa Iris for few days celebrating our girlfriends birthdays! We had a blast! The house is unique, the decor is very Zen and the art pieces are gorgeous! The house is well equipped with everything you need from an abundance of towels considering the house is only one block from the beach to soaps, shampoos, laundry detergents. In addition, the kitchen is fully equipped. The living and dining areas are open and set up in a way that is inviting and perfect for gatherings. The pool and hot tub are resort like, and the outdoor shower is amazing!! Will definitely be back!!

Charming Gem!
We staying at Casa Iris for a week and loved it! The house is beautiful, well appointed and the decor is top end and very zen. The location is awesome too being just a 10min walk to restaurants and shops. Kitchen has all the stuff if you want to cook. We made a few meals - mostly breakfast. Everything is very clean and the cleaners came a couple times - they did a great job. Beds are comfy too. Was fun to have a pool and hot tub and we used them a lot. We rented a golf cart for a few days while here - our daughter loved it. there is little parking spot with an outlet to charge the carts so that was great. Was a great trip and we will be back to Casa Iris. So glad we found this sayulita gem and would recommend it!

Gorgeous home! Fantastic location!
My best friend and I stayed at Casa Iris for 8 days and we are already planning to return! The house is gorgeous. It is upscale but still has such a homey and authentic vibe and exceeded my expectations. The property manager Eric, and his assistants (Noah and Sofia) we're all great to deal with, very responsive, and made us feel right at home. They made up the 2 twin beds as a king so we each had our own primary room that opens to a shared balcony with a hammock and stairs to the pool. The main floor is spacious and has all the kitchen gadgets you might need.
There are a few great restaurants within a 3min walk (El Jakal, Tropical House, Creative Kitchen, El Camion and Wa Kika for popsicles (get the passionfruit!))
The walk to downtown is 10min and flat although the road is a a bit uneven as it's comprised of dirt, gravel, and cobblestone so it could be a bit challenging for those with mobility concerns.
The closest beach to the house is a 4min walk (and space for golf cart parking if needed) and less busy than the main beach (downtown). It is also relatively flat to get there but again, uneven. If you go to the El Camion restaurant, that will take you to the path to the beach. The house has 3 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and lots of pool floaties and some sand toys which we greatly appreciated. If you want a full beach lounger, you can rent them on the beach for 250 pesos (for 2) for the day. The beach had restaurants nearby and the servers would take drinks orders on the beach which was great - try the sangria! They are each 150 pesos ($10 CAD) which is pretty steep but comes in a very large glass and worth the treat, at least once.
The house feels incredibly private because of all the vegetation which does shade the pool area during the afternoon. For the most part, the area is very quiet, with almost no noise after 11pm. When we were there at least, there was a bit more noise on the weekend (live music) and there was the odd motorbike or loud group walking by, but again, stopped by midnight. If you go to bed early or are a light sleeper, I would suggest at least bringing ear plugs incase it bothers you.
There are great places to eat downtown (e.g., Mary's, Sayulita Cafe) and a vibrant nightlife. It reminded us of a 'mini Nashville' in the town square; surrounded by dozens of open air restaurants with live music and people having a good time. Even if you aren't interested in 'partying', grab a Churro and people watch.
There are tons of great shopping opportunities as well. I personally chose souveniers from Tierra Huichol (indigenous art), Palu (ceramics, painting, photography), and of course couldn't leave Sayulita without the iconic pom poms from a street vendor.
Although there are certainly street and beach vendors, we didn't find it overbearing but get comfortable with saying 'no gracias' if you aren't interested. We also always felt safe walking around (2 women in our 30's), even at night.
We didn't plan on buying alot of groceries and I'm glad we didn't because there wasn't very much at the grocery stores (compared to what I'm used to at home). From what I could tell, I think most people purchase things from seperate stores e.g., butcher, bakery, produce stand and then some dry goods and dairy products at the grocery store. If you plan to cook at the house, you might just have to ask for some recommendations or consider stopping at the Mega store on your way out of Puerto Vallarta.

This is a great house and so glad it was our home for our first (but not last) trip to Sayulita.

Nice house
My daughter and our little dog stayed here for 2 weeks in October. It's a beautiful home. The pool was a refreshing break from the oppressive heat and humidity that had extended a little later than usual. We were happy that there was a second full bath downstairs (those stairs get annoying after day 3). The house is in a perfect location...close walk to the beach and town. It definitely felt like no one had stayed there for a while but the kitchen was very well stocked with a 9 burner stove and a ton of dishes, pots and pans. The cleaning lady (Heidi) and the maintenance guy (Julio) were the best. Please tip them well.
