Honesto Kitchen in Sayulita is a full service catering company delivering personalized experiences to weddings and large scale events.

Our team of talented Chefs, carefully helped design our menus based on what the local markets have to offer, fresh seasonal ingredients were selected to tease your taste buds and emotions with flavor, texture and timeless presentation.

We cater to all dietary requirements so everyone is happy. We have multiple dinner options available in either buffet style, food stations, family share, menu pick sit-down style, alternate drop, you name it we can do it!

To serve the best on Mexican soil, with our own personal philosophy. To fuse with local, carefully selected produce with modern cooking techniques and enhance its natural flavor by presenting Nayarit’s distinct seasons. To blend Mexican cuisine with an open mind and creativity without complicating things more than necessary.

Authentic Mexican gastronomy we believe is based on close cooperation between us and passionate farmers, growers, breeders, fishermen and hunters who share the same values as we do in terms of quality; as well as environmentally and ethically.

Honesto made my wedding day perfect!

Where do I even start - working with Ricky during our planning process for our wedding in Sayulita was such a joy and so easy. He was so helpful and communicative and answered all of our many questions in order to craft a menu we were so excited about. We had no stress going into our wedding because of how comfortable we felt with Ricky during the process. We knew the food and service would be great but we really could not have predicted just how amazing Ricky and his crew were until we experienced it on our wedding day. They were there early preparing food and getting set up and the attention to detail over every small item was truly one of a kind. The canopes were literally gone within minutes even with extras Ricky brought - and I can attest they were delicious! Coconut shrimp, prime rib crostini, crispy crab bites - my mouth literally still waters thinking about them. The main courses were what you would expect to find in a 5 star restaurant experience - short rib, mahi both cooked to absolute perfection. Dessert was the cherry on top with the brownie and ice cream and churros - people could not stop talking about them days after! The drinks were amazing and so fresh - even my mom, who doesn't like cocktails, had a few because she couldn't resist how good they were. I think every guest we talked to shared this was beyond a doubt the best food they had ever had at a wedding and during their trip to sayulita by far.

Beyond the fact that the food was awesome, the service was impeccable. The bartenders were so fun and great to interact with, and the waiters were so attentive and accommodating. The timing was down to a T when we sat down and plates came out so fresh and warm to exactly the right person. The entire staff was so on it at all times and though there were many logistics, they made it look so seamless and I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. Ricky has his craft super locked in and does it with the best energy and smiles for everyone.

I could not recommend Honesto Kitchen and Ricky more - if you want the best wedding day and experience, without a doubt go with them!

BEST CATERING IN SAYULITA. Period !!

I recently attended an event in Sayulita and the catering service surpassed my expectations. The canapés were absolutely delicious, the mains were beautifully presented, and surprisingly warm! Everything was served perfectly on time.

Again, the canapés were outstanding, specially the crispy crab bites and the Mac and cheese balls… YES!! Mac and cheese balls where the pasta was cooked with a ramen broth! Unreal. Delicious.

The mains were visually stunning, meticulous attention to detail and most importantly delicious. If you like Sweet Potato, try their Sweet Potato Mash… Best I have ever had. Oh, the sous vide Filet Mignon was on point.

The catering staff was so friendly, attentive, and they were all relaxed and smiling while plating the food… It was impossible to not notice the cool vibe in the kitchen.

In conclusion, this Sayulita catering rockstars deliver flawless fusion cuisine with yummy presentation. From start to finish, they create an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for any event requiring exceptional catering.

Look No Further!

I've worked with Ricky and Honesto Kitchen on multiple weddings, and they never disappoint. From small weddings of 50 guests to grand celebrations with 250 people, their catering services are top-notch.

The food is simply outstanding. The canapés are out of this world, especially the Crispy Crab Cakes and the mini Angus burger sliders! The presentation of the main courses is stunning. The Honesto team make it all look and taste so good without a fuss making the guests feel happy, at ease, with a homely feel to it. Ricky walks around making sure everyone is taken care of.

I've seen the happy faces and heard the incredible reviews from guests at every wedding they've catered. When it comes to creating an unforgettable culinary experience in Sayulita, Honesto Kitchen is the way to go.

The communication and flexibility is outstanding since day 01, something we as wedding planners really appreciate as it makes our work so much easier.

Oh! They have this baked Argentinian beef empanada that is so so so good that made an Argentinian groom and former client (now a friend) take an emotional trip back to his grandmothers Kitchen. Since this day, the empanada has been renamed to honor his grandmother, Juanita. True story.

Truly Magical

Ricky and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They hosted our rehearsal dinner at our small hotel and they took care of everything - scouted the location ahead of our arrival, helped us rent the tables, and even set everything up for us. It was absolutely beautiful, and the food was excellent. We had multiple fish courses and amazing dessert, and the servers were kind and attentive. Ricky was so communicative and friendly. I can't say enough - I honestly wish we had hired them for our entire wedding. Truly special people and experience.

Ricky (Owner & Executive Chef) • After 15 years of non-stop traveling around the world, working together with talented Chefs, these menus finally came to life in Sayulita, a place that gave me a warm and homely feel since the day I arrived. • When I was not touring, I was wandering through the food scene in London for almost 8 years, in Los Angeles for just over 4 years, New York for just under 1 year and the most impactful food scene of all, I must say it was Melbourne, mainly due to its Asian fusion / influence which I love and find most of my current inspiration in. • It has now been a decade since I’ve set my roots here in Sayulita and I can confidently say that it was the perfect combination of the laid-back surfer vibe, an abundance of fresh produce, diverse cultural influences, and delightful flavors that resonated with me. These elements seamlessly blended with my culinary inspirations gathered from my journeys. • I pursued my own culinary education and trained with talented chefs who shaped my skills and helped expand my repertoire.
