Captain Cesar Plascencia, born and raised here in Sayulita to a fisherman's family, has spent more days in the local Sayulita waters than anyone else. Coming from a family of fishermen, Captain Cesar has always earned his living from the sea and looks forward to welcoming you to his boat where everyone ALWAYS has a great time and luck catching fish!

The safety of Captain Cesar Dumay's Fishing and Snorkeling boat passengers and crew is Captain Cesar's number one concern. That is why the boat carries a radio that is always in contact with family on shore, a GPS system, flares and lifejackets for everyone. Though never having had an accident Dumay boat trips are totally prepared should the unexpected occur.

Captain Cesar Dumay's Fishing and Snorkeling boat has been completely designed for fishing and offers:

Swivel chairs
Live baitwell
Comfortable cushions
Canopy for shade
Plenty of seating

Captain Cesar and crew are very experienced and know where to find the fish. We will go out the day before and catch all the baitfish so you don't have to wait in the morning when all you want is to go fishing. You will see for yourself just how much all of us LOVE fishing.

All equipment is provided. We use quality rods and reels with names like Penn and Shimano. We have light and heavy tackle. We know what to use, when and where in order to make sure you catch fish. You can be guaranteed that if fish are in the area, you will catch them in our boat.

Snorkeling on Captain Cesar Dumay's Fishing and Snorkeling boat is a great experience for your group or family. We can arrange for a fishing/snorkeling combination trip or devote the entire boat to snorkeling. All equipment is provided (spearfishing too if you prefer). We take trips to the Marieta Islands where the fish reserve provides outstanding opportunities to see large schools of beautiful tropical fish. The jungle scenery from the boat during the trip is outstanding.

Fun, diverse trip!

These guys catch fish—period. Bonito, skip jacks, mackerel, pomador, etc. we kept a few for the week to eat on and the rest went to the fine crew and their friends and familia. Thank you Cesar, Max, and Lyle!

Great guides, very friendly!

Went out with family, the guides were very warm and friendly. On the way out we saw dozens of rays swimming near the surface, then trolled and caught skipjack tuna and spanish mackerel. They then put us onto a school of large pompano and it was a hookup every other minute. The trip is also a wonderful way to see the beautiful rugged coastline.

If you want to fish in Sayulita - this is the way to do it!

We had the best time on our fishing trip - me, my husband, Captain and his mate. We were even late and they accommodated us none the less. It was like fishing with family. We got many Bonita and they cleaned it for us and cut it beautifully. The best part about this company is that they share the fish they catch with the community. We caught 12 fish and we took 1 for ourselves, they took 2 for themselves and the rest went to the community! The absolute best! We will be back and we will fish again with them!

Fantastic Day, All you could ask for!

We had a great day fishing with Dumay. The two of us caught 8 Mahi Mahi and 3 Jacks. We also saw Marlin, Sailfish, Sea Turtles and Humpbacks! We had a great swim. Dumay and his mate were fantastic hosts; they were on time, courteous, and friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great day. Afterward, we had some great freshly prepared guacamole and took two huge fillets from the catch. This was enough for 2 dinners for the four of us and tasted fantastic. Dumay handled the boat expertly, so the waves were not an issue at all. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a great experience well worth the money.

Awesome time fishing!

Awesome day with Caesar and Dumay out in the water! We saw whales, dolphins, turtles and all sorts of other wild life They both speak great english. We caught 6 large mahi mahi
and they made delicious ceviche on board while providing beer, water and sodas

Awesome Service with a Smile

Cesar gave us a deal for 6 of us to go fishing. He was fair with the price and was honest when we accidentally overpaid him. He is a warm hearted person. His son (I forget his name) made the trip fun and exciting by playing music and keeping it entertaining between each of us catching some mahi mahi. Despite myself getting sea sick, I still had a blast. Seeing each of our sons catch some big fish and the smiles on their faces made it all worth it.
