With international experience DJ Cool Stress is an Open Fomat DJ based in Sayulita and the surrounding Bahia de Banderas since 2018, specializing in Dance music, including Hip-Hop, Club music, Latin Rhythms, Chill-Out & Lounge music. Ideal for weddings, bachelorettes, and birthday parties that need a party rocker DJ with club bangers and hits from all decades.

Cool Stress has performed at festivals such as Vive Latino in Mexico, Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin; parties, clubs and showcases for many brands like MTV, Nike, Fashion Week, Red Bull, Vans, Ballentines, Lust as well played in cities including Berlin, Dresde, Prague, Madrid, San Benedetto del Tronto, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita and Punta de Mita beach, Durango, León and Morelia.

DJ Cool Stress' team includes Mr. Parker, who is a French DJ, audio and production expert based in Mexico for over a decade. Having grown up listening to an eclectic range of music, he has gathered these influences to create a unique style of performance, scratching and cutting records over Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, House, Reggae, Dancehall, Breakbeats and Bass driven Electronic Dance Music.

Rio is professional and kind. He knows how to read the crowd and gets everyone singing and dancing. Always so much fun. Highly recommend for any bar or event. Private or public. People passing by were dancing and singing and he definitely pulled a crowd into the bar. Great vibes every time! Can’t wait to see him again!

Best DJ in town!!

If you want to have an amazing party, you better have DJ Cool Stress playing at it! He knows how to pump everyone up and have you dancing the whole time!! I had him play at my 40th birthday party and it was the perfect choice. Highly recommended!!

The best DJ in the area…. If you have decent taste in music.

I rarely go out in sayulita but if I hear DJ cool stress is playing I can’t help it. Always playing the best 90s hip hop. It’s so good. His timing is perfect. Reads the crowd and song selection is 💯

Responsive Wedding DJ turned Friend!

We initially chose DJ CoolStress because the way he marketed himself. He has easy to read wedding packages and a strong social media presence so you can see the type of parties he typically works. He was very easy to work with, him being in Mexico, us being in the States. He’s organized and responsive. The timing of the music was important to me and he absolutely killed it! I highly recommend this DJ for your wedding or any event!

Best Urban DJ In Mexico (well one of the best period)

DJ CoolStress from the moment we messaged him on Instagram initially,through the end of the night of our wedding was a step above the rest. Extremely professional and prompt with responses and honest with his planning and interpretation of music. He got constant compliments from not only our guests, but even the staff of our venue, who have seen countless weddings. As a black american with a puerto rican partner, we could not ask for a better DJ. He tailored the soundtrack exactly to our asking and was spot on in tailoring the night when the crowd died down a bit. He also was able to play with a violinist Beatriz. The combination of the live DJ and the violin was a once in a lifetime experience. We loved him so much we invited him to stay with us and party after the wedding. We can not recommend him anymore than what's said, especially if you are looking for an urban, hip hip, reggaeton, or all around DJ for your event, DJ Coolstress and his staff are absolutely the choice you should make.

My favourite DJ in Puerto Vallarta!

Never a dull moment when DJ Cool Stress is in the house! As a lover of 90s/00s hip hop, this guy keeps me dancing all night long. Have had the pleasure of seeing him play at several bars in PV and even played our NYE house party! Highly recommend seeing him anywhere you can, you’re guaranteed to have a good night!
