Description

Casa De Las Hijas in Sayulita (pronounced LAS EEEHAS) means "House of the Daughters". We have two daughters that loved Sayulita so much that we couldn't help but name this beautiful casita after them.    Please see more photos at sayulitacasitamia dot com

Casa De Las Hijas is a 10 year old casita located on the south side of town at the end of a quiet street. With friendly neighbors and a tranquil, isolated location away from traffic, the casita is still only a short 7 minute walk to Sayulita's town plaza and only 5 more to the beach. The bungalow itself is a roomy studio arrangement with a king and twin bed. It has a large, clean bathroom with new fixtures and huge open space shower with reliable hot water. The fully equipped kitchen features all necessary appliances, a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, blender and microwave and is stocked with fresh bottled drinking water, utensils, dishes and authentic Mexican glassware for your smoothies and/or margaritas. The living room sitting area includes a comfy couch, a 36" flat screen for DVD player, also available are speakers for use with iphone.  Casa De Las Hijas always provides free, reliable wifi.

Enjoy the lush tropical greenery at the entrance or venture to the patio off the main living quarters. Out back, the bungalow features a quaint, stone tiled patio. Looking to catch some sun?  Follow the back staircase to the rooftop sun deck, complete with lounge chairs, patio table, and ornate, wooden railings. Enjoy the jungle and mountain views from your personal and private rooftop retreat.

Above all, we value customer service and want your stay in Sayulita to be the best that it can be. We are easily reached and readily available if you have any questions/concerns during your stay with us at Casa De Las Hijas. We hope to hear from you soon.

Great Space to match a great host
I stayed at Casa de las Hijas for 1 week during my stay in Sayulita. Beautiful spacious accommodation and super close to the town centre. The space had everything I needed and the host Angel was so attentive and truly went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

The best casita in sayulita!
This casita is very especial. Very spacious studio with a beautiful roof to lay and enjoy the views. The property manager and cleaning lady were very helpful and friendly, they made my stay in this place better. The wifi is actually pretty good, I never have big issues with it, so if you work remotely, this place is for you! Quiet, clean and peaceful. Thank you Angel for being such a good host! I will definitely come back next time :)

Everything about this case was perfect.
Very responsive host although we really didn't need anything that wasn't already provided. Quiet on a hill but easy walking access going down one set of stairs toward the beach and square or the road going down to shops etc. So much outside space for a little casa. A private patio in the back, a sitting area by the front door and a large open roof top deck over the whole thing. Full kitchen with everything we would need.

A spacious casa, a short walk from the main square
Angel's casita was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there in 2013. It was a lovely upgrade after staying in a small, noisy villa (which at one point lacked electricity) for the first half of our trip. The casa is a short walk from the main square, which meant it was very quiet at night. We did not end up using the rooftop patio but it was a nice addition. The bed was large and comfortable, the kitchen had all the right amenities (though we only ended up using it to reheat some restaurant leftovers) and the bathroom was bright and spacious, with a beautifully tiled shower. Angel checked in with us via phone call shortly after our arrival and was quick to help us out when the propane tank ran out and we didn't have any hot water (he called the casa manager, Felix, who came over right away while we were out for dinner.) It was much appreciated! Lupita did a fantastic job cleaning the casa before our stay and once during (even though we said she didn't have to!)

There were beach chairs and a beach umbrella which we used twice and were very helpful when we didn't want to purchase chairs on the main beach. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, spacious stay. Yes, the casa is up a steep hill and can be a little tricky to find at first, but it wasn't a big deal at all (our first accommodation was up several steep hills!) and made the casa even more secluded. We were also happy to come across a wonderful coffee shop a short walk from the casa called Trivia El Café del Mar. It was the best coffee we had in Sayulita and we enjoyed their breakfast menu as well. We went every morning for the rest of our trip once we found it! It's situated on the opposite side of the street from Calle Primavera, before the next hill (Calle Los Cocos Nte.) if you're walking away from the main square. Highly recommend if you enjoy good coffee! Thank you so much for the stay, Angel!

My favorite
Of all the places I’ve stayed over the years, this is my favorite. This spacious studio is nestled in a quiet spot on a hill in the south part of town and has a large roof deck. Very peaceful.

Comfortable and Great Value
We enjoyed our 5 nights at Casa de las Hijas. It was comfortable, cool, clean and well-equipped. The king-sized bed was comfortable and the large tiled bathroom was great, with a good shower. The kitchen was great and had pretty much all the basics needed. There were lots of comfortable places to sit, both inside and out. We enjoyed the upper deck, where there was always some shade and some sun. The little bench out side on the stone patio was great, too. The fridge was a typical noisy Mexican fridge, but you soon got used to it. This large studio casita is good value for the money and a wonderful hideaway in Sayulita, close to everything.

I would definitely stay here again!
I really enjoyed Casa De Las Hijas. It was about a 10 min walk down to the Plaza & another 5 to the beach. The house was very clean & the bed very large and comfortable. I found the kitchen very easy to cook meals in when needed. The owner Angel was very nice to work with and very helpful. He gave me a list of some great restaurants to get me started and promptly answered any questions that I had. As a first-timer to Sayulita, this made me feel more at ease. There’s a bit of a steep hill to get up to the house from the main road, but I didn’t mind. It just made the experience that more secluded and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and hope to do so again soon!

Perfectly organized , very clean Casa.
Casa de las Hijas has everything a traveller/vacationer could want and all in tip top shape. This isn’t always the case with self catering units and usually something is broken or missing. Very comfortable large king bed, excellent large shower and bathroom, great kitchen facilities, lovely sun deck with loungers, lots of seating inside and the real treat was everything was sparkling clean and the Casa was well cared for. It is a conveniently located to both the town centre and active south end of the beach with all the amenities a beach town can offer - surfing, restaurants and sun beds. The only small caveat is if you are more inclined towards the quiet north end of the beach you may want to consider staying at that end of town. And that is the only reason for us youthful retirees that this place didn’t get an excellent rating. If this beautiful Casa was in the north end it would be over the top perfect. And it gets the award for the cleanest place we stayed in 2.5 months of travelling around Mexico. Thank you Angel for your speedy replies to all our questions and keeping the Casa in tip top shape.
