Description

Casa del Cielo in Sayulita is a beautiful, traditional tile-roofed villa, with incredible views and fresh breezes. If you can resist the beaches and restaurants that are located just a short stroll away from this comfortable vacation home, you'll want to stay home all day and enjoy the view!

Casa del Cielo is completely equipped for perfect vacation living and is maintained like the personal home it is. Updates are ongoing and add to the sense of total comfort you will experience in this family oasis. There is air conditioning in all 4 bedrooms.

Mature landscaping adds to the beauty of the surrounding area and enhances the vacation experience.

The house has four air conditioned bedrooms, all with en suite baths and queen sized beds; two of the bedrooms also have an extra twin bed for a child. The rooms are spacious and decorated with various folk art.

There is a half bath off the open-air living area and an outdoor shower with a panoramic view.

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen to cook meals at home!
No microwave.

Cook available for dinner upon request.

From the hammock on the huge covered porch to the magnificent pool (with lap lane) surrounded by a huge cantera stone patio, there are many, many places to relax and enjoy the perfect Sayulita vacation. Your comfort is assured by a friendly caretaker couple.

This house is accessible by foot but also boasts a large off street parking area and outdoor outlets for charging your golf cart.

Please note that Casa del Cielo has a limit of 10 persons.

Incredible stay!

We had the absolute best time at casa del Cielo with our group of seven. The design of the house is incredible, with the beautiful authentic Mexican charm, the inside/outside layout of the main area, and the stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean and town. It was everything we could’ve wanted! We were able to cook lots of meals at home as the kitchen was fully stocked and enjoy many nights playing their card games. The location was perfect, a quick walk to town and the hill only took a couple minutes to walk up. Karen was very responsive to all our questions and was very accommodating. Jose and alma kept the place clean and tidy for us, and we got Alma to cook us a delicious meal one of the nights which we highly recommend. We couldn’t recommend this beautiful villa more!

Perfect location and outstanding design and space

This was a perfect home for our party to rest and recharge - two adults and three adult children. As others have said, the pictures do not do justice to the actual view of the ocean and the beauty of the hacienda. There was always a cool spot to sit, even in the middle of the day. Jose and Alma, the caretakers, were excellent, ensuring we had filtered water, a clean pool, and clean and crisp bed sheets every couple days. We did ask Alma to cook for us one night which was also a treat. The hosts were excellent, and Karen answered every question I had prior to arriving, no matter how small or trivial. We had the distinct pleasure of meeting Karen and George while we were there, and we just felt so fortunate to have met this lovely and adventurous couple. Lots has been made about the hill and stairs leading up to the villa. For reference, I am almost 60 and had two hip replacements 6 and 3 months prior to arriving. I was able to do the stairs two to three times a day with no difficulty, and I am sure it helped with rehab. I am so happy we found this villa and hope that we can come here again one day.

Excellent place to enjoy Sayulita

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Cielo. From the authentic and refined Mexican deco to the sunsets during or after dinner, this place makes you feel welcome and special. You can cook your own meals or ask Alma to do something for you, she is a kind spirit and rather accommodating. The owners are ready to help and give you all relevant information.

Just WOW.

Would love to come again!

This home was perfect for our two families to enjoy a wonderful 7-day vacation in Sayulita. It a beautiful view overlooking the town and ocean and is relatively short walk to town, although we rented a cart to get around. We would happily stay here again.

Fantastic vacation home!

We stayed in this wonderful home March 2020, right before the shutdown, and had such a great family vacation! The house is perfect, lots of open air space which is my favorite type of house! (That is why we come to Mexico, to enjoy the outdoors!) the view is worth a million, the lush grounds are amazing! Sayulita started to shutdown while we were there but we were all satisfied to be here, the pool is great too! I have been coming to Sayulita for 15 years and stayed in a variety of homes, all beautiful in their own way, some more expensive, but this home wraps all the good things in one package...location, price, comfort and traditional Mexican style! We will be back, hopefullly this winter (especially if kids are doing school online!) ps you don’t need to bring anything to read, the book collection is fabulous!

Great for a family vacation!

We found plenty to keep us busy and the casa is also just a great hangout spot. We cooked most meals at the house and the kitchen is fully equipped which made everything super easy!

Such a treat!

This home is just gorgeous. Tons of character and comfort, with beautiful Mexican crafts and artwork throughout, curated to a level you wouldn't expect with most vacation rentals. The grounds are also beautifully cared for, with dozens of gorgeous potted plants all around. The whole house is 'open air', cooled by lots of fans, high ceilings, whitewashed walls and about a mile of dark green tile upstairs. We were surprised (but delighted) at the total lack of flies or mosquitoes. We loved the house's proximity to the main road, and being able to pop down for coffee or tortillas first thing in the morning, if we were willing to 'run the steps' of which there were a sporty 149, starting at the top of a short but steep cobblestone street. For half the week we did rent a golf cart (along with a boogie board) which was super fun. We followed Karen's directions and were able to catch the bus both ways from Puerto Vallerta airport and back, which didn't take that much longer than a taxi, but added to the adventure. Thank you Karen and the Caretakers for creating such a wonderful experience for your guests!

Absolutely Amazing Experience

We loved our time here! This beautiful home was everything we could have asked for. We found the owner, Karen, to be very helpful and available if we needed to communicate with her. We rented a golf cart, as we had two small children with us. We would love to stay here again!
