Description

Welcome to Casita Salate in Sayulita!

Just steps from the beach in the desirable north beach area of Sayulita in a neighborhood of beautiful homes, this 1 bedroom casita is designed to provide an expansively relaxed setting for both work and play. Like a lush botanical retreat, Casita Salate presents you with a thoughtful combination of traditional and modern Mexican architecture, and is surrounded by a extraordinarily spacious and private tropical garden graced with fruit trees of star fruit, mandarin and pomegranate, shaded by a giant native Salate tree and surrounded by a wall draped in multicolored bougainvillea.

Enjoy a rich variety of indoor and outdoor spaces and levels designed to soothe your senses and indulge your every need.

Find peace and comfortable privacy when you want it, or lounge with margaritas in the salt water pool watching butterflies play in the lush garden foliage while listening to the variety of tropical birds that daily visit the Salate tree. Shower under the stars in one of the outside showers, sit and sip your morning coffee with views of a manicured tropical garden, or walk out the front gate and arrive at the beach in seconds.

The center of town is a short 10 minute stroll by beach or road, with quaint dining and coffee shop options nearby and along the way. Jungle trails to other secluded beaches are also nearby, and we provide a kayak and surfboard for your recreation, plus plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and towels for lounging on the sand.

And when you wish it, be lulled to sleep in our king size beds by the distant crashing waves on the beach. Rest easy in the comfortable beds with high quality linens provided in the air conditioned bedrooms.

WHEN YOU NEED TO WORK TOO

If like us you need to combine work with your visit, we also provide a comfortable workstation and super high-speed wifi accessible throughout the property along with conveniently located USB outlets.

No matter your desire, you will be assured to enjoy your stay.

The casita includes,

- Kitchenette with stove top, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender and more.

- Outdoor view of beautiful gardens.

- Outdoor shower and indoor shower.

- Luxury sheets and towels.

- Plenty of filtered drinkable water.

- Endless hot water.

- A fiber-optic high-speed mesh internet system

- Beach towels, chairs and beach umbrellas, boogie boards, masks & snorkels, even a kayak or a surfboard if you wish.

- House cleaning is included, and provided twice a week. More cleaning days available upon request for an extra fee.

We also provide some staples to get you going in case the need arises, like table salt and pepper; cooking oils; vinegars; bottled hot salsa/sauce; microdyne (to clean/soak vegetables); paper towels; coffee; dish sponge; dish soap; plastic wrap and tinfoil. And in the bathroom we provide the basics: iron, blow dryers; toilet paper; hand/body soap; shampoo and conditioner.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD: Out the front gate it is just few steps down the path to the beach where you'll discover world-class surfing, fishing, kayaking, stand-up boarding and all sorts of other activities. Peaceful jungle walks to secluded beaches and mountain bike trails are also nearby and abundant. Or perhaps you'd prefer an open air massage, or a plethora of drink and food options just a stroll away as well. A 10-15 minute walk south will take you into the bustling downtown area of Sayulita where there are numerous restaurants and stores for shopping.

NEARBY: Surfers can find numerous breaks within 30 minutes or less all about the area. If you are feeling adventurous you can take a short bus ride or drive to the 4 Seasons/ St Regis in Punta Mita. There you can play a few rounds of golf or explore the area's beaches. Travel north 15 minutes and find yourself on the streets of San Pancho where you can take in a polo match or wander the streets for more shopping. If you are a hiker, then pack up your picnic, grab the umbrellas and beach towels and head on a low tide hike through the jungle. A secluded beach and soaring brown pelicans await your arrival just through the hole in the rock! For a panoramic view make the climb up Monkey Mountain.

Step out of reality and away from the day to day stresses and into a dreamy Mexican villa. Come, play, relax and enjoy all that Casa Salate and Sayulita have to offer. The perfect spot for creating new and unforgettable memories. We look forward to having you as our guests!

Casita Salate is a non-smoking home. No pets allowed including service animals.

Great place with the BEST location
My family and I stayed at Casa Salate for full month and had the most wonderful time. There are three separate areas that allowed our three generations to have separate space as needed but still be altogether. The location at the quiet north end of town is my favorite - though still an easy walk into the action. Ron & Jill were excellent hosts; responsive, accommodating, and kind.

Amazing Private Oasis, Perfect Location, Thoughtful Amenities, Loved My Long Stay
Wonderful location on the north side - no hills to climb. Easy walk to town. 1 block from the beach, could hear the ocean at night but no street noise in the spacious casita set in a lush garden with perfumed flowers and fruit trees blooming behind high walls. Private, safe, gorgeous. Huge windows on all sides, outdoor (and indoor) showers, comfy king bed and linens, A/C. Space to do yoga. Loved: lounging on the new cushiony chaises by the large saltwater pool, fully stocked kitchen, although I didn't cook because I could walk to all restaurants, the great internet connection, the amenities geared for a remote worker - desk in front of the floor-to-ceiling window wall facing the garden, many outlets. It was a treat to stay here, the owners were extremely responsive, warm, lovely people who went out of their way to make my stay special. Can't recommend it highly enough. My third accommodation in Sayulita and by far the best!

The Perfect Casita
This property is a literal paradise. Many other homes in Sayulita are at the top of steep hills, this one is not so it is very walkable to everything. Separate private accommodations but the owner is on the same property and is a great resource for information about Sayulita. Absolutely no hesitations in recommending this property.

We're early digital nomads, took off south in 2006 in our little RV from Colorado in search of waves, good food and a reliable internet signal so we could surf, eat tacos and get our work done too. One day we parked in Sayulita and while the internet was just a trickle in those days, the waves, food and people were irresistible so we made it work. So many years later we're still here, the waves are still breaking, the food keeps getting better and the internet now flows as fast as you want it. And everyday we discover something new about this wonderful place.
