Description

Casa Taller in Lo de Marcos, 20 minutes North of Sayulita, is a brand-new modern, solar-powered home built in a quiet neighbourhood. Just steps away from La Ermita Yoga Studio and the plaza, Casa Taller is the perfect place to treat yourself to a healing, restful vacation.

The Space

Casa Taller is unique in that the ground floor is made using adobe bricks and the entire house is finished in all-natural plasters which besides being pretty, allows for a mildew-free environment. The house is off-grid solar-powered but with an excellent Wi-Fi connection.

Guests will enjoy gorgeous garden and jungle views from the self-contained upstairs with a private bedroom, bathroom, open-air kitchen and a large outdoor terrace.

- 100% refund if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
- 50% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.

Mexico is different from the USA or Canada in that the country/people have their own sets of traditions, values, norms, and ways of life. Many things we take for granted “up north” are not quite the same down here in Lo de Marcos. Sometimes variables like utilities, smells, noise, neighbors, cars, animal life, repair times, etc just cannot be managed in the same manner as in other parts of the world. While we do our very best to ensure a delightful and 100% positive vacation, please understand that some of the reasons we love living and vacationing in Mexico can occasionally be a bit inconvenient. Thus, our refund policy will not cover any of the above items unless it is something within our immediate control. Thank you for understanding.

Great nature spot, location and host!

I stayed for 2 months as a birthday gift to myself and enjoyed it so much! Emily is a kind and helpful host. She went the extra mile to help make my stay comfortable and supported. I loved the open air kitchen and sliding doors off the bedroom that offered beautiful views, ocean breezes, butterflies, and bird sounds. I appreciated the 30 second walk to La Ermita Yoga Centre and the K Super market. Centrally located to the beach and the main streets. Lo De Marcos is a small, vibrant town with lots of life going on (eg. dogs, roosters, music, etc) and at the same time has a peaceful, nature vibe. Casa Taller is located in one of the quieter areas of town, and if you're a light sleeper, I recommend ear plugs, just in case. I would stay at Emily's place again in a heartbeat! Thank you again for everything!

A Modern/ Mexican/ organic vibe. What a lovely place to stay in for a complete withdrawal from the fast paced US. In the morning all the bird sounds are so tropical sounding I had to pinch myself was this real. The kitchen is an outdoor kitchen that was really fun. Great views from there of sunsets.
I cook a lot because I am on a special diet and all I needed was provided.
The King size bed was super comfy.
I loved the breeze block in the bathroom shower window!

Amazing home & host

Emily my host, was incredibly gracious and had treated me even better than a hotel would! Everything was clean and bright and spacious and private. The outdoor kitchen was amazing and had gorgeous mountain and jungle views all around! The home is close to a beautiful cove beach which was the perfect getaway. There is a yoga studio literally 100 steps away with excellent instructors and a large space to practice.

Emily is a great host and I would return to Lo De Marcos in a heartbeat!

The Mexico we Love

California-style home in the middle of an authentic Mexican town. It is open-air with a wonderful breeze, a large terrace, no mosquitos, wonderful well-equipped kitchen. Loved the location and the proximity to both the beach and town in a super chill spot. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I stayed at Casa Taller, it was so amazing. The accommodations were very comfortable. The bed was super comfy, the room was spacious, and the view from the rooftop patio that is outside the bedroom was relaxing. We had breakfast in the adjacent outdoor kitchen and would sit rooftop overlooking the town of LoDeMarcos, listening to the birds and watching the clouds stroll by. Our host was accommodating to everything we needed, including tourist insight, where to go, and what to do. Helping us with arrangements to go on excursions, such as horseback riding and renting a golf cart. Our stay was perfect.

Highly Recommend

Our stay at Casa Taller in Lo de Marcos was fantastic. The house is brand new. The kitchen is outside with a huge terrace overlooking the garden. We had fantastic breakfast here. Very quiet space, spacious very comfortable, you can walk everywhere. We loved our walks on the beach and the time we spent in this beautiful little village. You can walk everywhere no worries at night. Its just beautiful and relaxing. Emily is very helpful with anything you might need or would like to know.
