An experience we'll NEVER forget!

My best friend and I could not have had a better time with Ally Cat Tours! What we didn't expect... one of the best times of our lives! Whale watching, dolphins, laughs, swimming, music and a wonderful crew! We had so much fun the first day we went back for a second. Not only did we leave with a ton of great memories but we left feeling like family. This place is really something special. I can't say enough about our experience and can't wait to be back. We will most definitely make this a must do each and every time!

life changing experience

Our private catamaran experience with Ally Cat was absolutely fantastic! Julio and his team, including Miguel the chef, made the day unforgettable. From the moment we set sail, the vibe was amazing—everyone was so welcoming and friendly, making it a truly special experience. Julio’s knowledge of the ocean was incredible, and he shared interesting insights about the wildlife and local marine life, including some unforgettable whale sightings!

Miguel, the chef, truly impressed us by preparing an incredible lunch. He made fresh sashimi from a rockfish that they had just reeled in, and it was absolutely delicious. The rest of the meal was equally amazing, with fresh, flavorful dishes that were perfect for dining on the water.

The service was exceptional throughout the day. Julio made sure I was never without a drink, always keeping my glass topped off with refreshing cocktails, while Miguel made sure I was well-fed with delicious meals and snacks. The whole team’s attention to detail, from the food to the experience itself, made it clear that they genuinely care about providing top-notch service.

Overall, it was an unforgettable day filled with stunning views, great food, and an amazing crew. Highly recommend Ally Cat for anyone looking for a private, luxurious catamaran experience in Sayulita!

Review of Ally Cat 3 Day Charter

We went out on Ally Cat 3 today - Jan. 27 2024. We had the boat for 4 hours. It was an excellent tour. Sergio was awesome as was the captain!! We saw probably 40 whales.... I'm not kidding. The on board food, drink, ambiance, entertainment etc was above and beyond exceptional service. We were given a lot of choice in how we wanted to spend our day which was really nice. Instead of sticking to a pre set agenda. We fished, whale watched, sight seeing etc. The onboard food and drink was excellent. (We could have snorkeled, paddle boarded, or we could have just played in the water on the lily pad.) Knowledge of the crew about the whales, the bay, was beyond excellent. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is interested in a company that can deliver a tour that is worth the money. This is the 3rd time we have taken a family group on one of their boats. Twice on the Fat Cat large Catamaran, and today on the Ally Cat 3. Trust me you won't be disappointed with the service.

Truly the BEST DAY EVER!!!

We took a group of 12 - 4 Adults and 8 Kids (ages 11, 10, 8, 8, 7, 7, 5, & 4). on a private day charter with Arnold, Chovo, Sergio, and Julio on the Ally Cat Catamaran on January 14, 2025. Our goal was whale watching, some fishing along the way, Las Marietas Islands, and swimming/snorkeling. We started the day with fresh fruit, snacks, and drinks for everyone! Even the kids had the cutest little "smoothies" made for them! Julio and his team were absolutely incredible from the moment we met them to the moment we sadly had to leave.

We went to Alaska in July and saw whales, but NOT like this!! We saw so many whales on this tour I can't even count how many it was! It was incredible! The crew was so knowledgeable about the whales and too time to show all of the kids photos and details from booklets they had on board. They also talked about the islands, dolphins, other fish, and birds like the Blue Footed Booby. We made some special stops to see their nests with eggs or fresh babies. It was so sweet and the kids loved it! We also did the "big splash" at the islands, which was such a fun treat!

We took time to explore the islands and the kids found lots of little crabs and hermit crabs to play with. We learned about some history of the islands and the waters of the bay. We watched dolphins playing with the whales and caught several fish, one of which became some fresh ceviche for us to eat! The food for snacks and lunch was SO SO good and even our picky eater kiddos ate it all!

One member of our group felt seasick at one point on the smaller tender boat, and the team acted quickly to get her back to the big boat and took great care of her there.

Julio was amazing with all the kids and the staff definitely made them feel special making them special drinks, letting them "catch" the fish, and dancing with them to our playlist of music we had going. The adults were also treated like royalty and never once had to ask for anything!

We have done several boat tours over the last 5 years and this was BY FAR the BEST ONE we have EVER DONE!!! I truly can't say enough good things about it! We will for SURE be back too PVR and we will absolutely do another excursion with Ally Cat Sailing!

I called the office to let them know how amazing everything was and Deb was the sweetest person to talk to! She even sent us some shirts over to our resort! If you are looking for an amazing experience while in Mexico, you want to do this!!

Wonderful experience. A must do!

We did a private sunset cruise with Victor and Mikey and captain. What an absolute blast. We have been on quite a few boats in Mexico including Cabo, Vallarta Adventures, etc. This was the best one!! I had emailed Paola and Raquel and finally we visited with Alle in Sayulita and nailed down a time. Everyone we spoke with was amazing. We celebrated our friend, Sandy's birthday, she caught 2 fish off the boat, Mikey cooked them up. Everything was wonderful. We saw whales & got some education on them. Our cups were never empty & the food was beautifully presented & tasty. Half of us live here in La Cruz and half were from the USA. Ally Cats made their trip so memorable. We hope to book again when we have more visitors. Thanks doesn't explain our gratitude!

THE GREATEST ADVENTURE OF MY LIFE on The FAT CAT

The crew on the Fat Cat, this past week were amazingly attentive, and went all out for us! Both my husband & 2 daughters thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We did a Snorkeling trip to the Las Marietta Islands, but had so much fun on the way. We saw whales-breaching even! The crew all helped me, but a huge shoutout goes to Buoy helped me in the water. He's my Hero! This can't be described in a review. It's just too wonderful to believe we got to experience this huge adventure. The food is scrumptious. They intuitively knew what each of us needed to have a great experience. Please don't hesitate to book with them.

Incredible service. Safe and a hoot

Crew was incredible. Swam drinks out to us. Very safe, funny, videographers, kind. There were 12 of us 30/40 year old couples. Weather wasn’t great but we didn’t even notice!

Best day onboard Ally Cat

This time was our third time boarding the Ally Cat. We are convinced that there is no better boat, nor better crew, than the one Ally Cat has. Always constant fun with the crew, and their service is the best. It is important to comment that each time, they had a detail with us. We are sure that next year, we will do it again, it has already become a tradition in our family.

Fantastic Ally Cat Sailing Experience!

One of the highlights of our vacation to Sayulita

Me, my husband, son and daughter went on the Ally Cat boat to Las Marietas in April 2024 and it was one of the highlights of our vacation to Sayulita. The customer service of the boat crew was exemplary. You get picked up by a shuttle at Pakeke in town to head to the marina where you launch from. Highly suggest you grab a coffee from this store before you leave and then go back for breakfast the next day. The boat is huge with plenty of seating areas for your picking. We opted to sit in on the bow on the flat seats so we could lay out and get some good sun. Straight onto the boat you are met with mimosas and breakfast snacks along with some great music to kick off the trip. Not too long into the trip we got a snack of nachos and quesadillas as well. The boat takes you to the Las Marietas Islands first where you get plenty of time to explore or just float in the water. We also did a drive by to La Bufadora (the blowhole) where we got sprayed by the water coming out of one of the caves. Of course this was a big hit with the kids on our boat. After this, we were given snorkeling equipment and got to snorkel in a cave for about 20 minutes. I saw a stingray as well as some beautiful fish. Once back on the boat they served us lunch (chicken fajitas, rice and beans). The crew entertained all of the guests with their dancing and singing non stop. They interacted with all the guests to ensure everyone was having a good time. I noticed specifically how attentive they were with the kids to make sure they felt safe and were enjoying themselves as well. We got one more stop before heading back where we got to jump off the top of the boat, paddleboard and just play in the water. I highly recommend doing this if you are in Sayulita. In fact I would do this again next time we come. The crew on this boat really made the experience what it was!
