Tropical House in Sayulita has been a local favorite for many years offering a blend of tropical and Mediterranean flavors in a quiet garden setting, three blocks north of the river on Avenida Palmar (Beach Road) on Sayulita’s North End.

We have a full bar and a specially selected tiered wine list that showcases worldwide wines that range from the basic table variety to wines to exclusive wines that will satisfy the most sophisticated palate. Be sure to try our house tequila, which is sure to be your favorite! We offer free wireless Internet, fresh fruit smoothies and a full espresso bar. Daily specials are offered according to the season of freshness from the sea and the orchards.

Open from 8 am to 1:30 and 6 pm to 11 pm, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Tropical House is the place in Sayulita to hang out in the morning for breakfast or lunch and then, dine in the garden area at night listening to good music and visiting with friends.

Nice atmosphere

Very first stop while in Sayulitas and staff made us feel welcomed! We came here a few times while our week stay and it was always a relaxed feel and great atmosphere!!!

Our local!

Tropical House became our favourite local while staying in Sayulita for the week. We stopped by whenever we were going out or heading back in. We were welcomed like family every time. Don Michel makes an excellent tequila and his staff became friends. The passionfruit margaritas sustained us all week.

Nice laid back atmosphere

Our first time in Sayulita. Staying for 5 nights. Looking for something other than Mexican
( had already been in Nuevo for 1week). Found this place on sayulitalife.com. Mediterranean Mexican . Nice menu. Excellent food and service.

Loved this spot

We were staying on the North side and ended most of our evenings at Tropical House. The staff was amazing and the drinks were excellent. We even stopped in for breakfast one day, and they had the best chilaquiles we had on the whole trip (something I ordered for breakfast almost every day). Love this place.

One of the best North side Sayulita restaurants.

Everything thing you would want in a vacation/neighborhood restaurant. The food is spectacular as are the made to order drinks! Service is very personable and the server’s knowledge of the food is spot on. Wine selection is stellar. I’m pretty sure they have live music nightly. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth the trip while you’re in Sayulita.

Great service and pretty location

Very nice courtyard seating. Fast service. My omelet was quite large and very tasting. The service was on point and the server was really friendly. Definitely a great place for breakfast or wine and dinner and to watch live watch live music.

Welcome to Sayulita!

We stayed across the street at Casa Caracol & were happy Tropical House was so close to start & end our short trip. We were only in the area for 2 nights but found ourselves coming back to the welcoming friendly staff at Tropical House. Michel's local tequila was so excellent we bought a bottle to enjoy through our remaining stay in the area. It even impressed our local friend back in Nuevo Vallarta! The hospitality, food & drinks are amazing!
