Built as a private yacht , Sayula 1 was built for a circumnavigation around the world , she spent 7 years circling the globe before Darrin purchased her , she is comfortable , graceful and perfect for the charter trade. Lots of Deck space & deck cushions to relax on and plenty of shade. The sailing conditions are perfect here in Banderas Bay for her , getting up to speeds of 12 kts. Spinnakers flying !! A great way to learn about the art of sailing .

As soon as we boarded I felt welcome and at home; the crew was friendly and organized. I never worried about a thing we returned from a scenic stop at a beautiful beach to find a fresh water rinse and Lunch prepared and waiting, perfect timing after a refreshing swim. Would recomend this crew and vessel to anyone who is looking for a fun relaxing excursion at sea!

Epic!! Is the one word I would use to discribe this sailing adventure. I love it so much I make it the one must do on my annual trip to Mexico. If you are wondering if you should go or not? My advise would be get off the fence onto the boat and sail your cares away. Darin takes care of everything you will need, so layback in the netting of the trimaran or perch yourself on top of the cabin. Either way you will have a fun experience. P.S. Don't forget sunscreen

this was our second time sailing with Darrin. He makes for a great host and Captain, keeping the party going, great food, epic beaches, cave exploring, snorkeling etc. The best part about sailing with Darrin is that you feel like you're on your buddies boat, pumping great tunes (bring your iPod) and hanging with good friends. The staff is excellent, always friendly and serving drinks all day. There is no sense of schedules, rules or corporate business attitudes. This is the real deal, go once and you will come back again and again to experience it all over.

Darrin and his crew made our time in Sayulita! He and his staff knew all the best spots to go, and kept the drinks flowing the whole time! Snorkeling through a cave to a secret little beach was amazing and when we came back the crew had made us all sandwiches, which was the icing on the cake. It seemed somehow that they had found all like minded people for the day trip, my girlfriend and I actually ended up traveling with some of the others and still keep in touch with them! I highly recommend taking a day trip out on the Sayulita 1, and sticking around for the sunset if that's an option.

Darrin and his crew were fantastic. Fun, easy, engaging. We were a very small party but they still took us out to enjoy teh sail. You could play your own tunes or whatever, they made sure you always had a drink in your hand (important to us at the time!) and gave us space but also had fun with us. It was a blast. Mexico Robert

My husband and I spent a day with Captain Darrin & Crew on Sayula 1 and it was wonderful. The wind was great the day we went and we cruised out to the Murieta Islands, detouring to follow a whale for a while. When we got to the Murietas, whales were there, too! We saw dophins and sea turtles that day, helped hoist sails, enjoyed great music, company, food and endless drinks along the way. What a great way to spend the day!

My group of 10 friends have been doing a winter vacation to Sayulita for the past two years. This year, we wanted to make a trip to Yelapa, but didn't want to take a water taxi from Puerto Vallarta. I contacted Darrin a few months before our trip via email and he organized a wonderful trip for us. Pancho and the crew were fantastic! Great breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries - tons of beer and delicious drinks. We saw a bunch of whales, went snorkeling in crystal clear water, went to the waterfall in Yelapa, ate a great lunch aboard the boat and had an amazing day soaking up the sun and lounging aboard the boat. The crew could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Having the large boat to ourselves was a treat and made for an unforgettable day!

we were 4 adults and 2 children (4 and 7) whit 12 other persons on the trimaran, it was so a perfect day , with a friendly crew , experience captain...the food was very good and drinks as you want...we have done great sailing, snorkeling and whale wathching ,and fishing...it was our best adventure of our vacations...at this price you will not found any tours that offers as activity and real ,yes real sailing....

We met Darrin on our arrival and I am sure we will all be lifelong friends! We are two guys in our late 20's, there were families of all ages and sizes as well as seniors and everyone was having THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES. We sailed out to the islands, saw whales, dolphins, explored caves had killer food and good booze. Total blast, will most certainly be repeating the experience on our return!
