I cannot say enough amazing things about Yazmin and her talented designer. From start to finish, our experience with Sea of Dreams was incredible and we wouldn't have planned our wedding any other way. When we first met Yazmin a year before our wedding she displayed kindness, humor and true honesty. She was thorough with what Sea of Dreams provided in their services and that whatever we had in our budget and in our imagination, she would work with and make the absolute best of. After our initial meeting she showed us to the venues we had in mind that we wanted to see. She tends to go above and beyond and made sure to show us more than enough venues before we decided to go with Don Pedros Palapa. The Palapa was perfect for us. All the recommendations Yazmin gave us for the venue from food, music and minister we were all so very happy with. We were considering a live band so she recommended some wonderful groups but in the end we changed our minds and wanted a DJ. We are VERY picky about DJ's so we are a bit wary of the idea but Yazmin connected us with a really fun DJ duo that we loved and they played all the songs we requested and left out the songs we wanted them to avoid. I couldn't get off the dance floor! Overall Yazmin understands the needs, emotions and worries of a bride, groom and families so she makes sure that she is on top of anything that may come up during the planning process and wedding day. She is very professional, but has a great sense of humor that my family, husband and I all just love! Through the whole process, we now have a close friend that we look forward to visiting the next time we go back to the beautiful town of Sayulita. Thank you so much for one of the most memorable days in our lives!

Yazmin at Sea of Dreams is absolutely amazing! I got married in Sayulita in June 2012. We only had a handful of friends and family come and we wanted something very intimate and stress-free. I explained to Yazmin in a few words what I wanted and she ran with it. Not having met Yazmin or visiting Sayulita prior to the wedding, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect but it somehow turned out exactly as I imagined only better. It was perfect and she took care of everything- from coordinating all the vendors down to the smallest decoration details. I would highly recommend Yazmin to any bride getting married in Sayulita! She really goes above and beyond for her clients and it will be the best decision you make in your planning process!! Yazmin- thank you for such a perfect day and wonderful experience!

I would highly recommend Sayulita, Sea of Dreams Weddings, and Yazmin to anyone considering a destination wedding! My wedding was unbelievable!!! My family and friends have taken to calling it Epic. And I owe it all to Yazmin and Sea of Dreams Weddings! I originally saw pictures of a wedding in Sayulita and contacted Yazmin, who was the wedding planner associated with the pictures. She was extremely informative and responsive to all my questions and emails. This amazing service never ended. For the next year Yazmin helped me plan the wedding, budget appropriately, find accommodations for all my guests, and ease all my worries. She's not just a great wedding planner, she's a great person overall. When the wedding weekend actually arrived (April 28, 2012), Yazmin was there every step of the way. She was on top of every detail and went above and beyond what I expected. I gave her some general ideas of what I wanted in terms of decorations but no real guidance. And somehow, seemingly with such ease, she took my rambled thoughts and made everything look amazing! There were special touches all over the place that she did specifically to my husband and my tastes and hobbies. This was definitely not a cookie cutter wedding. We was unique just for us, something we searched out. We held a welcome dinner Friday night upstairs at Don Pedros. We had a buffet style dinner with Tacos Al Pastor and margaritas and beer. The food was terrific. Saturday evening we had the wedding and reception at Don Pedros Palapa. The scenery was gorgeous! We served Citrus Chicken and Beet Ravioli. We wanted something a little different and again everyone raved about the food. We danced late into the night and around midnight had fireworks. It was very special. We served cake and had a late night burrito bar as well. Sunday morning we had a farewell brunch at Villa Amor. Everyone was still recovering from the night before and seemed to appreciate eating outside by the ocean. All together it was an absolutely wonderful experience and everything turned out perfect! We stayed within our budget and did so much more than I ever thought was possible. My husband and I agree that our favorite part was that everyone seemed to have a genuinely good time. I know we certainly did! Thanks Yazmin!!! Again, I would highly recommend Sayulita, Sea of Dreams Weddings, and Yazmin to anyone considering a destination wedding. Trust me, it will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make!

I have worked with Yazmin for over 2 years and she is always organized and efficient. Her brides do not have to worry about anything because she implements everything they want and the wedding day always runs smoothly. Yazmin coordinated my recent wedding & related events and completely impressed me with the work she did. She planned and executed my welcome reception, rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, and wedding with the utmost quality and precision. I am a project manager for Microsoft, I mention this to help explain my personality... I am a self-proclaimed control freak, extremely organized and have a high bar to be impressed. Yet Yazmin impressed me with her responsiveness throughout the planning process and blew me away with the beautiful events she created for us. She stayed responsive through countless emails about the most minute detail and took my vision and turned it into so much more than I expected. I heard from my friends and family comments like: "this wedding belongs on Pinterest", "the attention to detail was unparallelled", and "most beautiful wedding". My photographer, who I flew in from Seattle and has done a number of destination weddings, noted that our wedding was the smoothest running destination wedding he's been to and asked for Yazmin's contact info to work with her in the future. I cannot recommend Yazmin enough... she is incredibly talented!

We started planning with Yazmin back in October & got married last week at Villa Milagros! We were absolutely blown away by the end results!! First of all Yazmin is one of the sweetest, warmest women I have ever met! Very easy to get along with & she instantly felt like an old friend! She fulfilled every request we had & more! It was like she was reading my mind when it came to how I wanted everything to look & feel. From the decorations to the food the servers the ceremony...everything was beyond perfect and went so smoothly! Her attention to all the little details is amazing! We literally didn't have to lift a finger when it came to set up & take down. If I had to do it again I would do everything the same! And I would recommend her over & over & over again, as I'm sure everyone who has worked with her will say the same! I cannot put into words how appreciative I am of all the work Yazmin did for us! When I started researching vendors for my Sayulita wedding, I did not anticipate having a planner since I do a great deal of event planning on a day-to-day basis for my job. However, my husband and I immediately changed our minds after meeting Yazmin from Sea of Dreams...and I can honestly say that it was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding process. Yazmin was a true professional. She always responded quickly to emails, found answers to my questions, and followed-up on all requests. Because Yazmin has handled so many weddings, she has access to incredible vendors and was always able and willing to offer the very best advice. There were a couple of times when I didn't take Yazmin's advice and in each case I ended up making last minute changes to her original suggestion; she was always right and had our best interest at heart. Yazmin goes above and beyond for her clients! At our welcome party when my dad couldn't find the beach location, Yazmin personally picked him up and walked him over to us. Then, when she found out there were no fish tacos for the same event (there was a mis-communication between myself and the taco guy), she called all over town and picked up fish tacos from various vendors until she had enough for our large group. She was so covert about it I didn't even know there was an issue until days later because Yazmin didn't want me to worry when I could be enjoying the event. Even more impressive, on our wedding day, my husband and I were offered a nicer, more-expensive venue free of charge due to potential rain. Though it was last minute, Yazmin made it work. She contacted every vendor to let them know of the new locale, organized transportation for all of our guests, and made every last detail look as though it had been planned that way for months, not hours. Yazmin is truly a special person! We all fell in love with her kindness, enthusiasm, and especially her beautiful work. She took our ideas and made our wedding more than we could have ever imagined possible. Best of all, we did not have to worry about anything, allowing us to enjoy the weekend with all of our guests. I could not be any more impressed with Yazmin; she is an incredible person and thanks to her our guests left Sayulita saying our wedding was the best they had ever been to. Of all of the decisions I made about my wedding (and as anyone who has planed a wedding will know, there are many, many, many decisions involved) choosing Sea of Dreams Weddings and Yazmin to plan my wedding was the absolute best decision I made in the entire process. If you make one decision based on these reviews, make this one. I was living in London during the planning months, and while one might think planning a wedding from abroad would be a stressful or confusing process, Yazmin made the entire experience seamless and exceptionally fun. Her passion and creativity ensure that you'll get the exact experience you want – whether it's a super formal affair or a casual fiesta – and her in-depth knowledge of the local vendors, venues, housing options, transportation, (and, well, everything!) helped immensely. As she is a Sayulita local herself, we quickly learned that Yazmin is as well-respected and well-loved by all of the locals as she is by us. Limited budget? Unconventional ideas? (she pulled off a parade in our case...) No worries. She worked with our limited budget and didn't just agree with everything we said, but helped us figure out just where our money would be best spent with the type of ceremony and reception we had in mind. And much like her final product, Yazmin herself is a beautiful, kind, creative person who I'm now thankful to call a friend. I look back fondly not only on my wedding day, but on all the fun I had getting to know Yazmin and Sayulia through the process. I wish I could do it again tomorrow!
