Chula Stay

We stayed 7 nights in chula and it was very nice. Great location, comfortable bed, excellent rooftop. Pool was freezing but the views all around are lovely. Jason was accommodating and easy to work with. Kitchen didn't have a lot of extras but was adequate. High ceilings and well decorated.

A fantastic week in Casa Salita

Our group of 8 rented out the entire Casa Salita for a week this past month (Feb 2013). My fiancee and I stayed in Alta, which was very nice, spacious and had fantastic views of the town of Sayulita. I took a look at the other rooms the first day and they're all of similar comfort, cleanliness and quality. Speaking of views, the rooftop common area is incredible. 360 degree views of the whole town, a great sitting area, long dining table, BBQ, sinks, bathroom... we spent a lot of evenings socializing up there and enjoying the views, the weather, and each other's company. The cleaning staff came in daily and did an excellent job. The location is great, very close to the main plaza and not more than a 5 minute walk from the beach. If you're in Alta you'll hear some music from the bars in town in the evening, it's not too bad but if you're a light (and early) sleeper you may want some earplugs. We had a wonderful stay and I would wholeheartedly recommend Casa Salita, particularly if you're travelling with a large enough group to take over the house.

Super Nice Place

As a single woman traveling by myself to Sayulita, I couldn't recommend this place enough. I'm from Kentucky and live in a small town (where safety is presumed) and felt comfortable and safe during my 2 week visit. To the point that I returned within a month! I stayed in Dulce one trip and Chula on the other. Both places were very comfortable and the staff of Primavera Management Co. are amazingly kind, easily accessible, and incredibly competent. I have stayed at two other rentals in Sayulita and, though there is nothing wrong with them, Casa Salita wins by a landslide.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views!

We stayed at this house last May and loved it. The best part was the rooftop deck where we made drinks and enjoyed the views at all hours of the day. It's warm and sunny on the deck, but there is a palapa so you can be shaded and still be outside if it's super hot. At watching the sunset from there is magical. There is a small swimming pool with views and it's nice that the house is set up so you can go with a big group or just with a few friends or family. The location is great, too. It's an easy walk to town where all the cute shops and restaurants are. I will definitely stay in this house again!

The Crown Jewel of Sayulita

We stayed at the house last May and was truly amazed a property like this existed, here. It’s the best property we’ve stayed at in this town and the rates were extremely reasonable for what we got in return. I say it’s the crown jewel because it’s sits on top of a hill above everything else in Sayulita and yet it’s right in the middle of all the action. It has sweeping 270-degree views looking over the ocean, the mountains, and the valley. It’s also right off the town square—just a very short walk (uphill and up many stairs). The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and also has the incredible views. The common roof deck has a simple kitchen including grill and refrigerator (for cervezas!). There’s a giant umbrella and palapa for shade, and large table for dining under the stars--great for parties! Our room was simple but charmingly appointed. The house is beautifully painted in bright colors. At night, the lighting in the garden and common areas make the place look magical. The property is thoughtfully landscaped with lush, colorful local flora and pristinely maintained. The housekeeping and maintenance people was around a lot but were very quiet and respected our privacy. The owners and managers were extremely friendly and helpful, and arranged a car-and-driver for our pick-up and drop-off at the airport. We can’t wait to go back.

Perfect Accommodations for our Baby Moon!

My boyfriend and I visited Sayulita for the first time the last week of November/first week of December. The purpose of our Baby Moon was to get some R&R prior to the birth of our first child who is due in February. Our decision to stay in Casa Salita's Alta Vista was the best decision we could have made. Casa Salita exudes pristine beauty and cleanliness. The landscaping of the property is lush, bright and colorful! Alta Vista was perfect for us and our needs. We immediately felt like we were home away from home. We spent loads of time on the exquisite rooftop patio, enjoying the sights and sounds of the Plaza below, and the expansive views of the coastline! And everyday, when we got in from the beach, the crisp, refreshing pool was a treat to jump into. Being 30 weeks pregnant, the location of Casa Salita could not have been better. Yes...it is up an slightly steep hill, and there are a few stairs to climb, however, it is within walking distance of everywhere you would want to go in town...1/2 block to the Plaza, a few blocks to great eateries, and a couple of blocks to the beach! And I don't want to leave out the great staff of Casa Salita. We felt the housekeepers and gardeners respected our privacy, yet were right there if we needed anything from them. And Isela was kind enough to offer suggestions of the best places for massages and yoga practice. All in all, we LOVED everything about our visit to Sayulita. And that had A LOT to do with Casa Salita's Alta Vista! Working with Jason Adelman was a treat and we can't wait to return!!!

I've stayed in multiple Sayulita places and this is the best.

The house is perfect. The top palapa zone (common area for the entire house) is amazing...270 degree view, right above the village square. Couldn't have been any better. And the cooling pool was great for the kids since they could touch the bottom the whole length of the pool. The living spaces were great and as nice as it was to cook in the kitchens, we spent most of our time up on the top area overlooking town and watching the surf. Lots of stairs, but not really a big deal because you're either on the way to the pool, or the beach. Can't wait to get back down there. Oh...and the owner and the property managers were super nice and easy to work with. They can set up transportation to and from the airport and were extremely accommodating.
