Sabor con Magia is a multidisciplinary team with the goal of providing you the best quality service. We believe in serving great food at reasonable prices. We create food for the Soul.

We are headed by the Chef Roberto Escudero, who is natural from Oaxaca and was raised in a family of Chefs expertise in Traditional Mexican Cuisine. Roberto has been involved in the kitchen enviroment since age 13, which grants him experience from over 15 years on the area. Roberto is detail oriented and his creativity gets manifested in every creation.

Roberto has catered events all over Mexico. Roberto is ready to innovate and fushion any type of cuisine style that best compliments your meal or event with a smile in his face.

Sabor con Magia specializes in healthy food, which does not mean it´s not delicious, focusing on Local Organic & Sustainable products. This means all the meat, chicken, fish or veggies you eat were grown or caught by local people in ideal areas, under healthy conditions and were paid a fair price.

We create wonderful events for all types of clients, serving up 100% delicious, national based, eco-cuisine & tasty treats.

We catered the National SUP Championship, The World Standup Paddle and Paddleboard Championship & the MTV & Netflix shooting from FWD.

Above and Beyond!

We used Sabor con Magia for catering and event planning for a small dinner party at our villa. I would highly recommend them for anything from a catered dinner to a large scale event. No request was left unmet. Roberto was able to translate my vision into a reality beyond what we ever expected! He pulled it all together beautifully to make our surprise birthday dinner party an event to remember. He worked with local vendors and employees who all did excellent work, while also ensuring my preferences were met. Communication was excellent. Roberto and his team truly add “magia” (magic) in all they do. And the food was Delicious!!!! Excellent service in food and drink prep and serving. Excellent creativity I. Decor, setting the vibe, etc. even drone photographer! Bravo Roberto!!

Perfect Chef & Team in Sayulita

Roberto and team were amazing. They came recommended by our house manager in Sayulita and we used them for 6 breakfasts and 3 dinners during our 8 day stay. They were nothing short of fantastic. Extremely professional, so easy to work with, friendly, and the food was outstanding! Roberto checked in every day to see how things were and added things to the menu we were interested in without any hesitation. Loved them and their food. I would highly recommend.

Chef and staff to your Airbnb

Roberto came recommended by our house manager and he exceeded my expectations. We made contact about one month prior to my family holiday trip. Robert communicated in the best way, we arranged menu, cost all via WhatsApp. What I didn’t know was he has a full staff, including wait staff and cook. The attention to detail, courtesy and just warmth was exceptional. I would love to have had another meal or two with Robert and his amazing staff. Pepe, the head server was so kind.

Something to consider

Our large group of 9 adults and 8 kids reserved 4 dinners over our 8 night stay and so glad we did. So relaxing to not prepare no cleanup and no dealing with kids at a restaurant. The chili relleno was a favorite dish although the kids devoured the flank steak!

Perfect for Weddings:)

We hired this amazing team for our 20+ person rehearsal lunch and our 65+ person wedding and we LOVED absolutely everything about working with sabor con magia. The staff was so kind, personable, and professional. The food… there are no words, the food is impeccable. Even the dishes they brought for serving were beautiful and added to our experience. They also brought masa, tortilla press, and a skillet for us and our guests to try our hand at tortilla making, and we got to cook and eat them! So fun, cannot recommend them enough.

The best bartenders!!

Delicious and authentic feast!

Working with Roberto ahead of our stay was so easy. The menu is so varied and the options are endless. The staff that prepared the meal was so kind and the service was incredible for our large group of kids and adults. The food is divine!

Simply AMAZING!!

Roberto, owner of sabor con magia is fabulous and so is his side kick Jesus! They made a great team and provided some wonderful dining experiences for our group while in Sayulita. Jesus is just the sweetest guy ever and made us feel like royalty with his service. We were 2 families with 4 teenagers and they had a delicious meal with appetizers ready for us promptly on our day of arrival. It was amazing to not have to worry about cooking, cleaning or venturing into town after a long day of travel. Our teenagers ate a little more than was anticipated and Roberto quickly adapted with the 3 subsequent meals he prepared for us. We even asked him to adjust the menu for our last meal and he adapted without batting an eye. It was just perfect to have them cook for us every other night, including our last night. He made a delicious carrot cake for our 17yo birthday girl and delivered it late on the evening of her birthday after a fun evening on the town. Roberto was generous with his tips on getting around Sayulita, surf spots and safety tips for our families too! We even ran into him at La Lancha, the surf beach in Punta de Mita he recommended and he took some great group photos for us! He almost feels like family and we felt so spoiled and will absolutely be hiring him again if we return to Sayulita!!

Amazing experience!

Highly recommend this experience! After a long day of traveling and getting settled in, having Roberto and Jesus come in to cook an amazing meal for us was definitely one of the best parts of the trip. They were both fun and professional! They came in with smiles on their face, brought everything they needed and left the kitchen spotless! It was so wonderful we had them come back the night before we left!
