Originally from Austin, Texas and Boise, Idaho, we relocated to Sayulita to fulfill our dreams, and we now hope to do the same for you with your wedding. The perfect people to make your wedding day smooth
Playa Bliss did amazing. They had every detail covered before I even had a chance to ask or formulate my own list of things to take care of. They were amazing and I would recommend working with them to make you life and wedding day the smoothest it can be! This, coming from a bride who didn't think she needed a wedding planner - my goodness I would have lost my mind getting everything set up before hand and taking care of details the day of. Katy and Nicole are amazing!

Katy and Nicole were great, very helpful with all plans and details. As mother of the groom they were helpful to me in planning The Welcome Party at Panchito's and it was a huge success. They are delightful young ladies to work with and made the whole event very memorable.

The wedding went perfect.
We had a small wedding in San Pancho Mexico near Sayulita and hired Playa Bliss to help us with it. Our wedding was so small (under 30 guests) that we almost did not hire a wedding planner... but we're sure glad we did! And we're also glad we decided to go with Playa Bliss Weddings.
There are a lot things you just can't organize if you are not in Mexico during the planning process. If you live outside Mexico like we do and you are planning a destination wedding, I strongly encourage you to hire Playa Bliss to help you. Almost all of the stress was lifted once we hired them as they took over the burden of organizing our wedding. We told them what we wanted, they supplied us with choices, and then they booked everything we needed. Simple, easy, and our wedding was perfect. What more can you ask for from a wedding planner?
Playa Bliss also knows the owners of San Pancho Rentals, which we highly recommend using if any of your guests wish to stay in San Pancho (just a few minutes from Sayulita). Between these two businesses, you can easily plan your dream destination wedding all from your computer or phone. You really can't go wrong, we're so glad we decided to get married in San Pancho and hiring Katy and Nichole from Playa Bliss was an even better decision.

A different point of view
I am in my sixties and have never been to a destination wedding. Never could understand the concept, justify the travel or cost. I just didn't get it.
Well I guess you are never too old to learn. Between Katy, Nichole and Justin I now have an unbleveable memory that will last me the rest fo my life.
From the time we landed in Mexico, till the time we left (six days later) I didn't have to worry about anything. No worries regarding menu, catering, transportation, florist, pictures, housing, rehersal dinner, locations, wedding ceremony, reception, preparation or clean up. It was absolutely the easiest week of my life.
I got to become the beach bum I never thought I wanted to be, enjoying the Sayulita lifestyle, wining, dining, strolling the beach and many shops. No responsibility, no deadlines, no quotas, no time tables just fun and sun.
The main reasons my life became so easy - KATY, NICHOLE & JUSTIN. (The Playa Bliss Team) They worked their tails off so the rest of us didn't have to lift a finger. Didn't really seem fair, but, I've never had the opportunity to be pampered like that, and for all the work the "Terrific Trio" had to do, they remained as nice and pleasant as you could ever imagine, efficiency without stress, they truly are "super heroes."
Today, months later, when I see others that attended my son's Sayulita wedding trip, we go over and over the memories we brought back with us. The smiles and laughs are proof of the wonderful experience we all lived. The enthusiasm and sparkle returns as we relive the best time of our lives.

Best Decision I ever made!
With the exception of accepting the proposal and choosing Sayulita as our wedding destination, hiring Playa Bliss Weddings was the best decision we ever made! Planning a destination wedding seems impossible at the beginning but Katy, Justin, and Nicole made our dream a reality. We could have NEVER pulled it off without their expert guidance, support, and hard work and I found myself saying out loud "Thank God for Katy and Nicole" throughout the planning process. In the beginning we had endless questions and they had endless patience. They went above and beyond, even spending time to personally speak to any of our guests that had questions or concerns about traveling to Mexico, choosing accommodations, transportation and activities. If you have it in your budget, I would also highly recommend hiring them to design a website for your guests. Justin did an amazing job on the website! We even had a chance to visit Sayulita and meet our vendors prior to the wedding (I highly recommend doing this) and Katy, Justin and Nicole treated us like family during our stay.
Every decision was made easier with their help. They have endless resources and a wonderful and accommodating network of vendors to help you plan your unique destination wedding. They helped us pick the perfect villa for our trip and the perfect rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception site. They were readily available by phone during our entire stay, even arranging last minute activities for us.
The wedding day was MAGICAL. All of the vendors arrived on time and did an amazing job. We did not have to worry about anything the day of and neither did any of my family or guests. Everything was executed PERFECTLY. I was in awe of how BEAUTIFUL everything looked from the ceremony to the reception. And when I saw the flowers done by FLORA AMOR I was truly overwhelmed.
If you choose PLAYA BLISS WEDDINGS you will not only have the most unique, FUN and memorable wedding any of your guests have ever experienced, you will have made friends for life. You will fall in love with Sayulita and find yourself wishing you could pack up your belongings and move to this wonderful place with these wonderful people. We cannot wait to go back and relive this magical paradise. THANK YOU Katy, Justin, and Nicole for this experience. We are forever grateful and can’t wait to see you again!

As the MOB from Missouri, I am so GRATEFUL to have found Playa Bliss. I am so impressed with Katy and Nichole, in my
opinion they are "worth their weight in gold"! They amazed us with their skillful ability to coordinate a long distance
wedding. From our initial contact, all throughout our week-long stay, at the rehearsal dinner and of course, the
MOST BEAUTIFUL WEDDING and fantastically fun reception, they were superior!
Playa Bliss has state-of-the art technology to communicate with you and everyone else, Skype, email, phone, text.
Whatever method you prefer. For me, being able to communicate with ease in a timely manor was monumental.
With Katy and Nichole, NO PROBLEMS. (BTW Katy's hubby is a supreme Techy) They are always quick to respond,
professional and wholeheartedly involved with every aspect of your wedding.
Just a few of the extra things Playa Bliss helped us with to make our trip even better: Recommendation for the ideal villa
for the wedding party to stay, it was fabulous. Coordinating taxi service to and from the airport, with a stop for groceries.
Calling doctor Moy's office, stuff happens. Providing a short list of creature comfort items that are essential and/or hard
to find in Sayulita, very helpful. Showing us the best golf cart rental business in town, after our visit to Dr. Moy,
much appreciated. Translating and negotiating the fine details with our vendors.
When I think about Playa Bliss/Katy and Nichole and our wonderful wedding, there just aren't enough words of praise for
them. But I'll try, knowledgeable, honest, creative, sincere, energetic, buoyant, masters of their craft, thorough,
charming, resourceful, first-rate and just all-around good people!
