Description

Casa Jardin in Sayulita is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home with an open floorplan and beautiful views of the coastline, local fishing fleet, pelicans, surfers and brilliant blue sky.  Casa Jardin is located just a few minutes walk to the Sayulita village and right above the best swimming beach in Sayulita.

Architect-designed and built in 1999, the attention to detail is seen in every room and the style is ALL Mexican; beautiful tiling in the bathrooms, candelabra hanging over the outdoor Mexican equipale dining table, beamed ceilings, palapa roof and the owners’ collection of unique Mexican handcrafts, decorating the interior!

Casa Jardin is nestled into a lush tropical garden with mature palms, gardenia, lime and grapefruit trees, hibiscus and plumeria.  The house is part of the CIELO compound, which is situated on the beach close to the village, yet offers privacy and seclusion from the noises of town-the BEST location in town!

The house has an open floorplan and is artfully furnished and well equipped; perfect for those who like to cook and entertain. There are sheets, towels, beach towels, coffee makers and a well set up kitchen. There are several patios with outdoor seating to bask in the sun or read your favorite book. The house has a stereo system with a headphone jack hookup (compatible with most MP3 players/phones), for playing your favorite music. Casa Jardin has wireless Internet for those who like to be connected.

The bedrooms at Casa Jardin consist of: One large bedroom with a King sized bed and bath next door.  The other bedroom is smaller, with a Queen sized bed and an en-suite bath.  The half bath is near the kitchen. There are “living” rooms on both levels.

Casa Jardin has direct access to the Sayulita main beach via steps through the compound, or you can walk the back road. Maid and caretaker included all days except Sunday.  THIS HOME IS A JEWEL and in the BEST location in Sayulita!

Beautiful Open-Air Living!
If you are looking for or curious about what it's like to stay in an open-air home, this is your place! We absolutely loved the incredible view, so much space, and thoughtful, local decor, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Such an amazing property, with quick access to town. You can hear some of the town noises (mainly music from clubs) wafting up on the weekend, but a lot of it is drowned out by the sound of the waves crashing below. We would absolutely stay here again. This property was the highlight of our trip, and I kept wishing we were there longer to be able to really use all of the spaces. It is quite expansive and each area is so beautifully decorated with lots of places to sit, hang out, read a book, chat, have morning coffee, evening cocktails, a nice dinner, comfortable beds, shade, sun... it has it all. And Presha was very responsive with several questions I had just prior to and during the trip.

Amazing Location!
Two of us rented Casa Jardin for a week and can I only say - WOW!!! Casa Jardin is a slice of heaven located just up the hill from the beach, affording gorgeous views of the beach and the hills looking North. With an easy walk down the stairs to the beach, and a short walk to the heart of Sayulita's amazing restaurants, shops and nightlife, this property is ideal for those who wish to enjoy all that Sayulita has to offer! One cool thing about the locations is that despite being so close to town, we never heard any of the sometimes loud club music. And if relaxing at home is what you're after, the house has a great open architecture so that the sound of the waves and mild temperatures permeate throughout. With two bedrooms and baths on the lower area, there is ample room for two couples. The cleaning staff was friendly, punctual, and unobtrusive, and provided extra blankets for us after an unseasonably chilly first night. The patios (one on each level) have incredible views and are great for lounging in the sun during the days. I highly recommend Casa Jardin to anyone seeking to enjoy luxurious accommodations while being right near the heart of everything!

Amazing views
What an amazing place to relax on the deck just watching the ocean, waves, boats, surfers, birds and let your mind just drift. The Casa is large, easily accommodated a group of 4 for two weeks. Very open for all the breezes to cools things down. The kitchen facilities allowed for full meals to be cooked, in fact we had one of the maids cook us some Relenos which were to die for...better than the ones we had in town.

The mature trees and plants in the Casa and surrounding areas were beautiful to look at as they swayed in the breeze. The gardener kept the grounds very well looked after and watered.

Location is very close to the beach and town. Maybe a 10 minute walk at the most. My wife who has Parkinsons managed both the stairs on the compound that lead directly to the beach as well as the roads and paths that lead to town. Coming back from town in the dark is somewhat of a challenge, but there are motion detecting lights on the street that provide guidance.

If you are looking for a place where relaxation is important to you...yet you want to be close to great restaurants and the beach...this Casa is very hard to beat. Presha, the owner provided great communications and understanding as we tried to navigate through Covid.

Excellent home base for Sayulita! The views alone are worth it!
Casa Jardin how we loved you! We (two 30something couples) stayed at Casa Jardin for 3 nights for a friend's wedding. Could not recommend it more! First off, the view and location are fantastic. As you can see in the pictures, you have ocean views from pretty much everywhere in the house. It's also about a 3 minute walk into town and a 2 minute walk to the Pescadores side of the beach. I'd say it's a 5 minute walk (along the beach) to the main part of the beach. The house is perched high on a hill so you do have to walk uphill (from town) or up the steps (from the beach) to get in. While a bit tiring when we had our bags, if you arrive by taxi or golf cart, it's not an issue. Climbing the stairs can be a bit tiring for some but man does a Corona taste good after you've made it back up to the house! The house and design feel authentic to the town and the land. This is not a recently renovated home trying to emulate a classic Mexican beach house- this IS a classic Mexican beach house. The upstairs has a fully functioning and equipped kitchen (which we didn't really use, but if we stayed longer, certainly would have), an interior living room, and a huge outdoor patio/dining area with chairs etc. When at the house, we spent the majority of time here as you have truly breathtaking views as well as calming winds and beautiful birds. The bedrooms are downstairs and were great. Nothing over the top or fancy but comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, and a warm, ambient feel (but with ceiling fans and ocean breeze to keep you cool). There is also a large porch area downstairs as well. The views are only slightly obscured by the lower roofs and trees but emphasis on slightly. The house sits in a compound with a few other houses. The landscaping is gorgeous. Trees and flowers everywhere. And we made friends with Morena, the next door neighbor's incredibly beautiful and friendly dog :) Presha, the owner, was highly responsive to the few questions we had. Presha's support staff were very attentive when we had leaky faucet. The rooms were clean and tidied every day and the staff struck me as the type of people who would do whatever they could to ensure you had a nice stay. I'd recommend this place to any traveler looking for a calm, relaxing oasis away from the fiesta that is downtown Sayulita. But rest assured, that fiesta is only a 4-5 minute walk away. There is also a coffee shop (Yah Yah) about 2 minutes away, plus beer store, etc. The true beauty of the house, apart from it's views and charm, is that you feel like you're tucked away on a Mexican hillside in the jungle when at the same time, all the fun you can imagine is literally a few blocks away. This place is great for a long weekend but likely even better for a longer stay. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! And if you have any questions, email the owner. Her response time was incredible (often within minutes).

Perfect location and home
My husband and I loved our stay at Casa Jardin. It is wonderfully situated above the south end of the beach - offering great views and only a short walk to town . There are many stairs down to the main beach which was fine, but there is also an easier path down the road a bit that gives even quicker access to town. Back roads also take you to Los Muertos beach which is the best place to swim.

We loved the high location, not just for the views but also the breezes and bird viewing . Frigates and pelicans circled right out front. We stayed in March and evening temperatures were always great for sleeping.

The house itself was lovely with its open air style and Mexican art - it has lots of places to sit and take in the view, and take the sun or not as preferred. The house was well equiped and the daily service great. Everybody was friendly and easy to deal with.

If we return we would certainly rent Casa Jardin again. The value seemed excellent.
