I would highly recommend Casa Ilusion to my friends and family. The furnishings are exquisite, and the grounds are meticulously cared for. We felt as though we were in a magazine shoot. There was daily cleaning, and all of our needs were met throughout our stay. The house manager arranged for a manicurist to come to the house and also for a private yoga lesson on the beach. We will definitely stay at Casa Ilusion when we return to Sayulita.

My husband, parents, and in-laws stayed at Casa Ilusion from 4/24/12-5/1/12, when we were in Sayulita for my wedding. It was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for anything more. The house is gorgeous. There are two master suites upstairs with an open air balcony between them. Downstairs you have a kitchen, dining room, and living room area that has a wall of glass sliding doors that can all be opened. There is a side tv room and 2 additional bathrooms. Out back you have a beautiful patio, long yard area, the Casita, and then a personal beach area that is just a few steps up from the actual beach and ocean. The only thing I wish they would have had is a pool. However, it's really not necessary given the fact your are 25 feet from the ocean. The Casita is a one room suite with a king sized bed and lovely bathroom. There is a wall of glass doors that face the ocean. It's important to note that there are no curtains on the window wall. This is wonderful during the day, but at night if you have any lights on in the Casita, anyone walking on the beach can look right in. A screen is provided that can be placed up against the wall, but it is not large enough to cover everything. If you're shy, stay in one of the beautiful rooms in the house. Casa Ilusion is managed very well. The housekeeper and maintenance worker were there every day to make sure the house was immaculate and in top shape. Additionally, everyone came running if we needed assistance with anything at all. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Sayulita!

The house and location exceed expectations, even with the beautiful pictures that are provided. The house staff is unobtrusive and extremely helpful. The grounds are large and gorgeous and the house is spotless and very tastefully decorated. It is just the right walking distance from town. The house manager arranged for a private chef to come in for a couple of meals and the food. preparation and service we great. The ability to lounge, eat and hang out outdoors made it tough to leave the place. The household staff (maid and gardener) were unobtrusive, friendly and very helpful. Our kids (6 and 9) loved the place, as they had plenty of room to roam on property and were right on the beach. Certainly one of the more expensive rental houses in Sayulita, but worth the the money. We would not hesitate to go back and have already recommended it to friends.

I just stayed at Casa Ilusion for a week with two other couples and hosted my wedding there and I couldn't have picked a better place!!! The house and grounds are AMAZING!!! Each room of the house is gorgeous and has great views, the staff are incredible and the grounds are breathtaking! This is truly the ideal vacation spot and our expectations were blown out of the water!! The house is right on the beach in the perfect location but the size of the grounds still provides some privacy. We also hosted our wedding here -- I searched forever and finally found Casa Ilusion. It was the PERFECT location! It was the perfect size, the photos were incredible and you can't find anything else like in anywhere. I can't say enough good things about this home! Even the high speed internet connection was faster than my line at home... We can't wait to go back and relax in this paradise again!

We had a fanstastic time at Casa Ilusion. They arranged for our pick up at the airport which went smoothly and the property managers were there to greet us when we arrived at Casa Ilusion. We had requested food ready for when we arrived and the fridge was stocked and snacks upon arrival there. The property is big and the house is beautiful and comfy. We loved eating inside and outside at the tables, had a nice size kitchen for cooking up breakfast and the best was drinking morning coffee at the back of the property and watching the sunrise with the ocean being 15 yards away. They had wifi and a nice flat screen TV to watch movies at night if we wanted. The rooms were nice and spacious and the bathrooms were great too. Daily housekeeping kept the place looking fresh. The location is on the north side where it's a little bit more quiet and not so far north that you are too far away from town. We walked into town just fine at night and was nice to see the rest of the Sayulita neighborhood. We felt completely safe the whole time we were there although taking normal precautiouns would still be wise. If you like to surf, the left hand surf break was a three minute walk and when you're done, a great little local bar was there to grab snacks and beers. We utilized Sayulita Surf Camps with Beto who talk us on an awesome trip to Chacala and was our guide and photographer at other local spots as well. The owner was also very helpful with a great booklet of FAQ's ready if need be and was very accessible for our questions.
