Excellent! outstanding! Fearless!
Eric "Bikini", has a business card that sold me on his excellent surfing skills. I am a yoga student who practices "Headstand" often and doing it on land is challenging enough but to do it on a surf board is spectacularl!
He is great with kids and has a charming personality that exudes confidence!

Best surf lessons in Sayulita
We had a wonderful experience learning to surf in Sayulita over Christmas holidays (2012). My daughter Lauren (21) and I had a perfect day and will never forget the experience. Eric taught us the basics on the sand and then Africa, a great instructor gave us private coaching in the water for 2 hours in the morning. She was fantastic and everything you would want in a coach. Lauren started catching waves right away, had a blast and was soon on her own. Africa was very patient with me and I would not have been able to stand up and catch a wave without the personal attention she provided. She held my board, told me which wave to try and when to paddle. Within the first hour, I was able to take small waves and it only got better.
We had so much fun, we went back in the afternoon and booked Africa for another hour of instruction! It was the highlight of my vacation to Mexico and something I had always wanted to try. Eric runs a great operation, has great equipment, very good prices and the best surf instructors for beginners in Sayulita.

Awesome experience! Support the "small" school!
Get Up Stand Up is awesome. Friendly and personable instructors, excellent prices, and just an over-all great experience. Eric (owner) is a local ripper and him and his crew will have you up on the waves in no time. Just like any other smaller-then-average independent business, you can tell these guys put in that extra effort because they love it, and want you to tell your family and friends. Don't be fooled by the lack of a fancy building and 100+ surfboards; these guys have everything you need and focus completely on you learning and having a great time!!!
