The Original Villa Amor - Villa Mar Vida in Sayulita is a Studio that offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom in a single unit. You will experience stunning views, yet you will still feel secluded and private in your villa. Unique furnishings from around the world, exquisite views of the Sayulita bay, and an unbeatable staff ensure your Sayulita vacation will be like no other. Villa Mar Vida is one of our newest studios, this intimate villa has everything you need. Highly placed windows offer light, views of beautiful tropical foliage and a sense of spaciousness while providing privacy. Mar Vida has a king-size bed, large bathroom, kitchenette, dining table and desk, and the best part, a cozy deck for two with a dipping pool and view of the sea. Villa Mar Vida accommodates two guests.
Beautifully-landscaped gardens of trees and tropical plants surround the Villa Amor Hotel premises, including fan palms, torch ginger, bird of paradise and bougainvilleas grace the landscape, inviting both birds and our guests to stop and admire. If you can bear to leave your beautiful villa, our Si Señor Restaurant offers a romantic, open-air oceanfront dining experience that is not to be missed, and the bar offers all of your favorite libations. The location of Villa Amor can't be beaten. The whole village of Sayulita is at your fingertips! It's close to everything, steps to the main Sayulita beach, and a very short walk to Playa de los Muertos, another lovely beach.

Resort fees:
The Original Villa Amor has a standard Resort fee of $100 USD (taxes applicable included) per reservation, payable at the time of booking or upon check-in.

Villa Amor Policies
Reservations must be fully paid 60 days before the guest's arrival date.
Prices per night, in US dollars & plus taxes (4% lodging tax & 16% IVA tax).
Methods of payment:
Paypal, wire transfer, Visa, Master Card & AMEX.
Confirmation of a reservation:
A villa unit is reserved when our reservation department has processed the payment and the guest received an “Executed Confirmation”.
Cancellation policy:
For reservations cancelled 60 days or more prior to guest arrival, the following options are available:
50% refund from the total paid, minus bank commission.
A credit letter for the 100% of the total paid, to be used within 1 year towards another reservation, starting from your original guest's arrival.
For reservations cancelled between 59-30 days prior to guest arrival:
A credit letter for 50% of the total paid, is to be used within 1 year towards another reservation, starting from your original guest's arrival.
For reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to the guest's arrival and “no shows”:
No refunds or future credits apply.
Group & wedding group bookings: For questions on the terms and conditions of group contracts please contact the resort directly.
Promotions are non-refundable and must be paid in full when reserving.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury, or personal emergencies. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.

If you’re planning your wedding here please get in contact with Karen Ruezga, she is the best at what she does. You can email/call Villa Amor and they will get you in contact with her. She is super responsive and very professional. Down to budget sheets to last-minute requests. She is so on it!
We got to Sayulita a few days before the wedding. We wanted to get a few days in before the wedding hosting had to start. Sure enough the morning (7am) before the wedding rehearsal my wife is sick and has the stomach bug. I make it to the local pharmacy and get her drugs with hopes of it working and then head to the wedding rehearsal to meet Karen. Once there and I explain to Karen what is going on she immediately tells me she’s going to take care of it and calls a doctor to head to our room. It felt like a weight taken off my shoulders cause I knew Karen would come through , and she did. Doctor showed up / Bed Nurse for 10hrs- 3 bags- and few injections later my wife was good to go by 6pm. It was incredible!
The wedding the following day was perfect right on the beach. Dancing on the sand and drinking it all in. The whole place had lights dangling from the trees and the Sayulita flags as well. Wish I could do it all over again.
The restaurant at Villa Amor - Si Senor, is very good, but you can find more affordable food in the town.
The wedding was AMAZING. Karen Ruezga and her team are the best! Karen made the whole planning process very easy and stress free. I sent her a few pinterest photos of what I wanted, and was so happy with the final product. The decor was beautiful. Karen was there the day of and was so professional. One of my bridemaids was "sick" the day of the wedding, and Karen knew exactly what to do so that she didn't miss our special day. The service during the cocktail hour, and dinner was second to none, and the dinner was DELICIOUS.
All in all, we had a wonderful experience and wish we could do it again
We started planning our wedding with Karen last January. From the beginning, she made everything so easy. She never left out a detail and was great at communicating. She is extremely organized and made the wedding planning process fun. They also kept track of which of our guests were staying in what villas. They would send me this update weekly. This helped for when our guests checked in, so they could hand out their welcome gifts!
Beyond her extremely professional side, she is so friendly. I changed my mind on details multiple times throughout the process and Karen was so patient. She definitely has a can-do mentality! She was always available and quick to answer my questions.
It was hard for me to let go and trust someone else to help, but that’s what you need to do when you’re planning your wedding from another country. Karen put my mind at peace and I learned to trust her with each detail. Karen offered many options, solutions, and organized all the small details I brought personally so perfectly.
Villa Amor and Karen helped organize activities for guests, shuttles to/from the airport, golf carts, grocery trips, and any other inquiries we had. Everything went perfectly with transportation and our wedding guests were so happy and comfortable. Villa Amor and Karen provides the most wonderful service to our guests and I could not be more appreciative!
We got married February 1, 2020. The day of was absolutely perfect! Every single detail was even better than I expected. It was so beautiful. Honestly, everything was a dream from the ceremony details, the decorations, the timing, the food, the service, literally everything...! All of our guests were completely blown away too, each guest saying that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Thank you so much, Karen and all of Villa Amor!
The restaurant on the property is quite lovely but more expensive than the restaurants on the beach which were very good. The fresh fish is amazing
