Description
Villa Iguana at Villas del Corazon is located on the north side of Sayulita, 300 ft from the beach in front of the left surf break & 3 minutes walking to the Sayulita Plaza and the right Surf break, across the street from an open 5 acre soccer field. 360 degree ocean and jungle views from the upper terraces.
On the main level, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and shares the master bathroom with a second bedroom with 1 queen bed. There is another 1/2 bathroom out by the kitchen/living/dining area. On this level you will find the kitchen, with everything you will need to cook and serve for a large group, a dining area, living room, and the main terrace with the beautiful swimming pool and enough space for a large gathering. We have hosted wedding parties with over 100 people. (Event fees apply)
Upstairs on the next level, there are two private suites, each with their own bathroom. One has a king-size bed, and one has a queen-size bed, and there are sofa beds in each room if you need more sleeping space. There is plenty of more terrace space up here, and comfortable furniture to sit out and enjoy the views and breezes.
One more flight up on the third level is the penthouse terrace and two more master king suites with ensuite bathrooms. And more beautiful terrace space to hang out and enjoy the ocean views.
Great views, ocean breezes, the swimming pool, and the incredibly large and comfortable terrace spaces, make Villa del Corazon the best location for Weddings, Reunions, Families or Groups.

Awesome location. We loved our stay at Villa Iguana!
We just returned from our first trip to Sayulita and can't wait to go back soon. We had nine in our group: 3 couples and 3 teenagers. Two couples stayed on the main (second level) and the other couple stayed in the king room and the 3 teenagers stayed in the queen room with the sofa bed on the third level. There are 5 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. One of the half baths is right next to the pool which is convenient. You cannot beat the location: one short block to the beach and a 5 min. walk to the plaza in center of town. Eric arranged for our airport transportation in a Suburban for 7 of us with a stop at the Mega Supermarket on the way to Sayulita. One couple lives in Puerto Vallarta and took a taxi from their place. Both our drivers were super polite and helpful. Halo met us at the house when we arrived and helped us with anything we needed during our 4 night stay. She was wonderful. We loved having our own pool to use throughout the day. No fighting for lounge chairs like a large resort. The neighborhood is a bit noisy at night, but not a huge problem. The birds were also a bit chatty in the morning. Wi-fi was good. One couple both had to work online a couple days.

Villas del Corazon is one-of-a-kind and you won't find a better place to stay in Sayulita with a group or family. It is super spacious with a ton of bedrooms, which is great for a large group. We had 12 people and only 2 people had to share a bed (and 1 could have stayed on a futon bed if they wanted to). The villa had a daily maid service which was amazing and was clean on arrival. There is a ton of space to party, relax or do whatever else you see fit. And just when you think it can't get any better, the villa is also a 2 minute walk to the beach...you can even see the beach from the highest balcony view! Finally, Eric was a gracious host and super communicative. He gave us local recommendations, assisted with any help we needed and even got us a private chef to cook us breakfast.

Incredible host!
Eric is an incredible host. We had a power outage on Christmas Eve and he responded immediately and was at the house in 10 minutes trying to solve the problem. He was super responsive and always very helpful. I think this house is great for a bachelorette party or a group of younger/ single people without kids. There were a lot of stairs which was not ideal for our older family members. It is in the center of town which is so great if you want to be in the thick of it, but can get a little noisy at night. I would love to stay at one of Eric's other properties or come back here with a group of friends!

Best in Sayulita
Most beautiful villa is the whole town. Perfect location. Everything is easily accessible and in walking distance. The house comfortably fits 15 people. Everyone was so impressed with the decor and views. Would 100% recommend renting this villa!!

Great home - TOOOOO Noisy!
We stayed here the last week of February 2018. BAD choice! Eric was great as usual and gave us one night free as the fair is in town that week. We thought that they would pack up and leave on Feb 25th...NOPE so we had noise until the night of the 26th or 27th. By this time we were not getting any sleep anyway so one kind of looses track of the days. It is too bad as this beautiful villa is welcoming and the staff are great! Eric is accommodating as far as extra bedding, towels, umbrellas etc. We love him! As well, at least 12 of the 16 people staying here were sick...I am thinking it is because the infrastructure cannot keep up with the influx of people. The sickness is airborn I believe! The pool is simply the best! Too bad of the location though. There was an addict below us hollering all night one night! Dogs pooping on the steps of the villa and much more. We have been coming to Sayulita for 8 year's now and love Corazon just not the problems around where it is! Thanks again Eric!

Beautiful house, amazing owners, close to beach!
We had a surf trip with 9 girls from Nova Scotia. We loved the main house and pool area so much. It was beautiful, clean and had a Mexican/Fancy flare. The kitchen had all we needed and the master bedroom was huge. The owners were quick to answer all questions and looked out for us. We felt safe and happy there in the house. The family who run it are from the USA but live in Mexico. It was 1 min walk to the beach and 5-7 min walk to the main town.

Couldn't have been better!
We were on a Bachelorette fiesta with 12 girls and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Villas Del Corazon with Eric and Ushuaia! Eric was so helpful and thorough throughout the entire process. From promptly answering my MANY questions over the weeks prior to our trip to being available for anything and everything we needed during our stay to arranging seamless transportation to and from the airport, activity recommendations and so on, he really went above and beyond (helping blow up inflatable pool pretzels and hanging lights around the pool, can you ask for a better host!?). We felt very well cared for and safe throughout the duration of our visit.The property itself is spectacular and inviting. The pool and patios are amazing, the beds are comfortable (there is even an outdoor bed and hammock on the top patio) and there are PLENTY of bathrooms (11 I believe!). We rented the entire property and had so much room to spread out. The villa and apartments are gated and secure and there are safes throughout the house. The location is top-notch-- a 1-minute walk has you on the sand and less than 10 minutes has you in the heart of Sayulita, where you will enjoy shopping, delicious food of all kinds and a vibrant nightlife.We would recommend Eric, Ushuaia and Villas Del Corazon to anyone visiting Sayulita, you will absolutely love it. If I could change anything, it would have been tacking on an extra week to our stay!

A truly amazing experience
It was my first stay in Sayulita though it will not be my last. What an amazing, friendly, vibrant and charming town. Villas Del Corazon is perfectly located to be quiet and cozy at night, but just a block from the ocean and very easy walking to town and all that is there.
The staff at Del Corazon was attentive, the food plentiful and local and everyone treated you like they knew you for the last 30 years! The accommodations are all what the pictures display, but much more really, because it is put together in a unique and personable way with amazing attention to detail.
Sayulita is a gem of a location, not toooo far off the beaten trail, but with all the panache of an up and coming location that knows it has something very special and wants to include you in it.
I travel a lot and am not easily impressed, but Sayulita and the Villas Del Corazon is a rare delight worth savoring and sharing...

Amazing location and hospitality!
I stayed here with my family last spring and couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. The house has a nice glimpse of the beach and is an amazing minute walk away. It is walking distance to town while avoiding the noise and crowds, leaving only the ocean waves to send us to sleep. The owners were very informative about all the all possible activities Sayulita offers and gave us great recommendations on everything from the best taco stands to the best place to surf and avoid the crowds. Visit this wonderful paradise and have the vacation of your life!
