Casa Azul

We travel often. Lodging is an essential component of enjoying a trip. Architecture is my favorite artwork.
We stayed in Casa Azul for a week with our son and his family including 2 granddaughters ages 10 and 8. The casa and pool were perfecto for the 6 of us.. Only 2 short blocks to our favorite part of the beautiful near north end Sayulita beach.
The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. Also highly functional and well maintained.The management and cleaning crew were also exceptional.
Casa Azul is like living in a work of art. If the size and price work for you, don't hesitate.

We stayed in Casa Azul for a week with some friends who were experiencing Sayulita for the first time, and wow... Everything was perfect. We had seven adults stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The entire house - both interior and exterior - is beautiful and well cared for. Jorge, Ester, and Sara were attentive and communicative throughout our stay. You can't ask for a better location, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach, shops, and nightlife. The house had everything we needed - cookware, pool toys, beach chairs/bags, fresh bottled water delivered to our doorstep, etc. We will definitely try to stay at Casa Azul again sometime in the future!!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul. The house is well equipped and had a great floor plan for our group of 6 with en suite bathrooms for all. A good size pool. We really appreciated the constant supply of bottled drinking water delivered to the house as needed-a nice perk and not something we’ve had at other places we’ve rented. The staff, Jorge, Estel, and Sara were exceptional.

We booked this house in Aug of 2019 for spring break in March of 2020. We finally were able to make it happen in July of 2022. This place was perfect for what we needed. Great location with services just a few steps away and a beautiful beach just one block further. Staff was fantastic, friendly. We had a small issue with the oven and someone was over within an hour to remove our problem. Bedding was clean and super comfortable, AC kicked butt in the bedrooms. Kitchen was well appointed for when we did cook but mostly we walked to the corner where there were 5 excellent places to choose from. This place is a steal at this price. We will be back for sure.

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul last week! The location is absolutely perfect!  Far away enough from town to avoid all the noise but still just a quick 5 min walk to the plaza. The beach is also about a 5 mins walk away (just a 2-3 blocks down the street!).

The casa was huge & had beautiful Mexican architecture & decor throughout. The bedrooms were spacious & spaced out so that there was lots of privacy for everyone. Every bedroom had its own full bathroom & AC. The extra full bathroom in the common area came in handy for sandy beach returns or while hanging at the pool. The upstairs bedroom had the most amazing sunset views!

The kitchen was well stocked with everything (minus food of course) we needed to cook up some quick meals throughout our trip.

The pool & backyard area were beautiful & the grounds well kept with lots of trees/plants. The pool was a great size, there were lots of lounge chairs, there was a covered palapa with BBQ grill (we didn't use it) & there were lots of sitting/dining areas.

Gordon was super easy to work with & answered all of my millions of questions.   Ester (property manager), Sarah (housekeeper) & Fabian (gardener) were fabulous throughout our stay! Sarah was very thorough & kept the house emaculate!  She was such a hard worker & did a great job of cleaning while we were there sometimes but not being noticeable at all. There were a couple big storms during our stay & someone came out to clean the pool fairly quickly after we notified Ester it was dirty.

I would rent Casa Azul again in a heartbeat. I hope to make it back again soon. The town is very cute & everyone we encountered was so nice! We had the perfect relaxing beach vacation!

The house and property is beautiful, very well maintained and has all the necessary amenities. It made for a perfect summer vacation for the family in Sayulita. Easy walk to downtown and close to the beach. Great restaurants on the corner and well stocked mini-super a minute walk away.

Casa Azul was perfect for three couples. The interior was gorgeous, and the pool area was stunning. It was so close to town and the beach, yet felt so private at the property. The pool was the perfect temperature. Everything was kept really clean with daily housekeeping. We appreciated how spread out the bedrooms were. The master bedroom by the pool was lovely, spacious, and the bathroom with the outside shower was perfect. Gordon generously answered my many emails and questions and was excellent to communicate with. Ideal house and we can’t wait to visit again!

My husband and our 3 adult children stayed here in February. This was one of the most beautiful homes we have vacationed at. All the little touches were so appreciated. Gordon was so easy to work with and very promoted in answering my emails. The staff he has in place are wonderful. The house was incredibly clean and the gardens are amazing. Staying at Casa Azul was the high light of our time in beautiful Sayulita.

My family and I had such a relaxing time at Casa Azul. It was easy to communicate with Gordon, Esther and Sara were excellent hosts, they made sure we had access to the house as well as a clean space every day. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed in such a beautiful home.

Wow! From the first communications with Gordon to our last day, we can't say enough great things about Casa Azul. Gordon was extremely easy to work, which included some date changes and advise on transportation from the airport. We had noted from prior reviews that the pictures do not do the home justice. This is true! Casa Azul is very spacious, with plenty of room for all guests to have space and yet felt like home. There are plenty of areas around the house and property to enjoy with a cocktail or coffee and book in hand.

The location was excellent. We were only a block and half from the beach and not far from the town center. We rented a golf cart for the week which made getting around quite easy for all our adventures (beach, fishing, dinners, shopping, etc). There are also many shops and restaurants right around the corner if you want to stay close to "home." The home/property is visited consistently by Sarah who was wonderful! We've stayed in rentals before with daily cleaning services and it can be a bit awkward but not with her.

Again, can not say enough about our experience at Casa Azul. I selfishly do not want to rave about how great it was because it truly was a gem!
