Villa Amor Wedding and Event Venue

Words could never describe how thankful I am for Karen and the rest of the staff at Villa Amor - they gave us our DREAM wedding. They went above and beyond for all our guests at the wedding and that stayed in the villas. All the guests haven't stopped talking about what great service each and every staff member gave them at the wedding. Villa Amor was such a romantic venue to get married at - our ceremony was held at Villa Terraza and the reception at The Kissing Garden by the pool area. Karen went out of her way to ensure the wedding was customized to our taste including chalk boards and signs that made the wedding unique to us. Everything from the food, drinks, DJ, decor - all exceeded my expectations. I can't thank Karen enough for making all my dreams come true. I will forever have these memories of our special day.

My husband and I stayed 4 days at Villa Peninsula - in my opinion it had the best view in Sayulita. Absolutely stunning. Waking up everyday to the sunrise over the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing was the ultimate romantic getaway.

Also, Karen recommended us to a Churro Bar Vendor and I highly recommend the churros to you - they were delicious and everyone was talking about them. Perfect way to end the night!!

This was my fifth time staying at Villa Amor - this last time for my daughter's wedding. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the service is incredible. We stayed at Villa Flores (my third time in this Villa) with a kitchenette, two air conditioned rooms and and unbeatable view. Drinking coffee while watching the sun rise over the ocean is an absolute dream. The restaurant downstairs, Si Senor, has excellent food and is right at the waters edge. We couldn't have had a better wedding trip.

Villa Amor was the perfect location for our wedding and is overall just a gorgeous hotel. Karen did an amazing job turning our vision into reality - she was so organized, professional, and easy to work with. Destination weddings can be challenging to plan because so much feels out of your control but Karen and her team made us feel so confident throughout the whole process and they definitely delivered.

The villas were so beautiful and the staff was so kind - I just can't say enough good things. Our guests and us had an amazing experience. We can't wait to come back!

About 20 of us stayed at Villa Amor May 2-4 for my daughter and new son's wedding. The staff went above and beyond for us and definitely exceeded expectations - the accommodations and services were excellent. Villa amor is in an absolutely beautiful and perfect location - walking distance to downtown where you'll find great shopping and many restaurants. The younger ones in our group loved the food and nightlife in Sayulita every night. The shuttle the hotel offered made transportation so easy between the hotel and the airport in Puerto Vallarta. This truly is paradise!

The staff at Villa Amor was so kind, helpful, accommodating and hard working from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I was so impressed with our son and daughter in law's wedding - it was so beautiful and professionally put-together. Our party of twenty had such a nice time - we are so grateful for the wedding planner and staff that made it all possible. The beauty, view and cleanliness of Villa Pacifico, where we stayed was beyond impressive. We enjoyed some delicious views from the villa grill and really appreciated the villa shuttle drivers. Thank you for a wonderful vacation but most importantly for making the bride and groom's wedding everything they could have dreamed of!

We knew within 5 minutes of meeting Karen that she would be our wedding planner - she was clearly very professional and organized but still maintained that laid back vibe that made us fall in love with Sayulita in the first place.

Our wedding was held at Playa Amor and Karen + her team went above and beyond our expectations. They had everything set up early, accepted deliveries, coordinated with our DJ - basically everything.

One example of how amazing Karen is - they were doing construction on the beach where the ceremony was supposed to take place and Karen bought the workers a case of beer and encouraged them to take a break while we had our wedding. It was perfect!

The service was the best we have had, anywhere. Once guest told me he was talking about ordering tequila shots and within seconds a waiter arrived with tequila shots! To eat, we would up getting the Mexican Buffet and are so glad we did. The service staff carried our plates (Along with every other guest's plates) too and from the buffet.

The overall planning process was easy and stress free which was a pleasant surprise considering it was a destination wedding. Karen had me make planning decisions in bathes so I only had to focus on a few things at a time. She provided a few suggested schedules for the day of the wedding which was very helpful when it came to coordinating with our photographer. Some of the decor items we wanted were not included in the package so Karen helped us arrange for those items to be rented.

I cannot recommend or thank Karen enough for making our wedding so magical.

Our son and his bride chose Villa Amor for their wedding on March 23, 2019. Their wedding planner, Karen, did an amazing job. Everything was done so beautifully and tastefully the day of the wedding. The location was absolutely beautiful, the reception included a donkey, cigar roller, Mariachi band and of course food/drinks. It was all perfect.

We stayed in Villa Pacifico and it was the best room in the whole resort! We could park our golf cart literally right outside our villa and the access overall was just so easy. The staff at Villa Amor all provide top of the line service.

We got married at Villa Amor last weekend and I am so blown away by how special and perfect it was. Our guests rented 17 of the villas and the staff went above and beyond to give each guest special service. Literally anything they requested, the staff made sure to take care of immediately. I worked closely with Karen over the last 8 months to plan the wedding and she was so responsive and communicative over email making it so easy. I was so impressed with the outcome of everything. It was my dream wedding and couldn't have been more perfect. I can't wait to come back and stay at Villa Amor!

We booked out almost the entire Villa Amor villas for our wedding guests and it was a dream come true. The staff went above and beyond and I just have to say the pictures don't do this place justice - it is absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing, the views are stunning and all the villas were so unique. The Gran Villa was next level - we stayed and had our wedding here. I don't even have words for how amazing it is. We will definitely be back soon!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Amor for 4 nights for my brother's wedding, and everything was fantastic. We stayed in Mar Vida, which is something like 100 steps up a steep hill; it was quite a workout each day, but definitely worth the view! The dipping pool on our patio was cute and refreshing, but we didn't go in it much. The view was incredible. The room was well-appointed and nicely decorated.

I read other reviews that complained about the bugs, as the doors are not sealed very well, but we had no problems whatsoever save for a stray ant or 2. Maybe it's because it's still the dry season? This is the tropics so bugs are to be expected, we did not have any issues, we love the jungle! There's no door on the shower so water gets all over the bathroom floor but the housekeeping staff took great care of everything. There is a door to the bathroom, so there is some privacy.

The Villa Amor staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the views from all over the property were spectacular. It really is a perfect location: a short walk to town but still kinda secluded and quiet. Playa de los Muertos is a very short walk south through an interesting and colorful cemetery (hence the name), and it is gorgeous and much less crowded than the main beach.

My brother and sister-in-law had their wedding at Junto al Rio beach, and the ceremony and reception were magical. The location was perfect; the reception area had several long tables amid lush jungle, steps from the beach. And as usual, the Villa Amor staff were on point. I can't say enough good things about this place and about Sayulita. Go there!
