Welcome to Casa Sol y Luna in Sayulita, your home away from home! Casa Sol y Luna is a beautiful tropical oasis, located one block from the beach. This charming old-style Mexican home blends the beauty of the old country with modern upgrades and design.
Located in the center of the serene North end neighborhood, this retreat provides a prime position for a more mellow neighbourhood, while being minutes away from the excitement and action of Sayulita's main square.
Location
The Northside offers its own charming restaurants, bars and amenities (within a 1-minute walk) while being an easy and flat, 6-minute stroll to the main part of town. While restaurants, stores, and town activities are conveniently close, the home itself remains a peaceful sanctuary, shielded from the town's lively buzz.
Located on the main frontage road of the beach, this casa is steps away from Sayulita's pristine shoreline (1 block off our home). Additionally, the main beach in town is just a short few-minute walk away, where you can enjoy more of the hustle and bustle of our charming Mexican town.
Amenities
Experience the beauty of this indoor/outdoor layout with each bedroom uniquely situated in its own private detached casita. All the shared common areas are outdoors, while all the bedrooms are indoors. Two bedrooms boast king-sized beds, while the third offers a comfortable queen bed. All rooms are fully furnished, equipped with individual AC units and adorned with ceiling fans for those who prefer a gentle breeze. Every casita has its own full bathroom as well as an additional half bath in the common area.
The house is protected by a locked gate on the main street and there is space for a car or golfcart in the gated area. House comes with boogie boards, beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs for our guests to use as they please.
There is also an outdoor shower in the front yard to rinse off all the sand on your way back from the beach.
Private Oasis/Pool
The backyard is not only a stunning, lush paradise but also thoughtfully furnished with loungers as well as table and chairs, complete with an umbrella to ensure both comfort and shade. Our spacious private pool invites you for both sun-drenched afternoons and serene evening soaks.

Pet Fee - There is a pet fee of $100 for a pet staying at the home. Renters must abide by the following pet rules:
- Pets are not allowed to relieve themselves anywhere on the property grounds. Guests are responsible for taking their pets off the premises for bathroom breaks and must clean up after them immediately.
- Pets are not allowed on furniture, especially beds and sofas.
- Pets should not be left unattended in the rental property. If guests need to leave without their pets, they should ensure pets are safely crated or confined in a designated area.
- Pets must be well-behaved and should not disturb neighbors with excessive barking, meowing, or other noise.
- Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage or excess cleaning caused by their pets.
We ask for a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
Please note that these payments are non-refundable. However, should you need to cancel for any reason I will attempt to re-rent the house. In the case that the house is re-rented, your payment will be refunded minus any difference in booking rate and minus any fees.
Mexico is different from the USA or Canada in that the country/people have their own sets of traditions, values, norms, and ways of life. Many things we take for granted “up north” are not quite the same down here in Sayulita. Sometimes variables like utilities, smells, noise, neighbors, cars, animal life, repair times, etc just cannot be managed in the same manner as in other parts of the world. While we do our very best to ensure a delightful and 100% positive vacation, please understand that some of the reasons we love living and vacationing in Mexico can occasionally be a bit inconvenient. Thus, our refund policy will not cover any of the above items unless it is something within our immediate control. Thank you for understanding.

A short walk into the heart of town and a block away from the beach. Mike and Jewel were wonderful hosts and very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. If you’re looking for a place that is spacious, convenient and comfortable, this is it!
The property is conveniently situated just one block away from the beach. It was effortless to grab the provided beach chairs and umbrella and take a short stroll down to the sandy shores. The house itself features an open living area that seamlessly connects to a backyard oasis adorned with lush greenery surrounding the inviting pool.
